Great pet hospital. Wonderful, caring staff. They don't charge for emergency appointments for existing clients during the day. It was this reason that we left our last vet. If you can't get your sick pet into their doctor without being charged $50.00 extra during normal business hours, what's the point of establishing a relationship with a vet?
We will bring all 7 of our pets to Dr. Rockwood and Dr. Dominguez exclusively.

I am very happy with the friendly atmosphere and ALL the staff has been very nice and extremely helpful. And it's such a breath of fresh air to have reasonable prices and not feel like you're being taken to the cleaners. My 13 year old dog Kada had a sudden bladder problem and my normal vet wasn't able to see me that day and suggested that I take my dog to the emergency vet. That was not an acceptable option for me and my daughter suggested that I call some other vets in our area to see if they could fit my dog in. I did some research and called Toro Park Animal Hospital and am so glad that I did. They fit my dog in right away and everyone was just so friendly. Dr. Dominguez was amazing with my dog by getting down on the floor to examine her even though she didn't want anything to do with anyone there (she has a little bit of white coat syndrome..haha). They are an absolute God send and I am so happy to call them my permanent vet now. Thank you for taking such good care of me and my baby girl Kada.

Dr. Rockwood treats my cat and she and all the staff always make sure his visit is as stress-free as possible. One time when he was feeling unwell, she even sent the technician to the car to check on him so he wouldn’t have to go inside and get more stressed out. Toro Park Animal Hospital is by far the best veterinary hospital I have ever experienced. As with most people, my pets are my "babies", and I take their healthcare as seriously as I take my own. Dr. Rockwood is spectacular! It is very clear that she loves what she does. She never rushes her visits. She is extremely thorough both in the exam and in explanations. She spends very focused time with the patient--no rushing. I feel that every time we are in the exam room--from vaccinations to emergencies--the focus is entirely on us. I feel 100% confident in placing my pet's care in her hands.
Recently, we had to have our lab put to rest. She was 16 years old and the love of our lives. The Toro Park team came to our home and so very lovingly walked us through her end of life. What was so very hard was made easier with their loving, calm presence. I will never forget that and will never be able to thank them enough. If there were more than 5 start--Toro Park Animal Hospital would be at the top!

We were on a recent trip and our dog needed to be seen. I had no idea where to go, but Google said Toro Park Animal Hospital was nearby. The whole experience was flawless. It is a nice facility, the new patient paperwork was easy, the staff was friendly and helpful. The doctor saw my dog immediately with no waiting, and it all worked out great. If I lived in the area, I would certainly go back and make them my dog's primary care veterinarian.

We had a very positive experience at this clinic. Friendly receptionist? Check. Clean? Check. Friendly technician? Check. Check. Friendly veterinarian? Check and check. I had a list of questions (I haven't had a dog in 20 years and had just adopted "Walter" as a rescue dog.) It's nice that this clinic offers a complimentary office visit.
Dr. Rockwood was very professional and answered my list of questions, before I even asked them! She handled Walter very gently (he is super mellow anyway) and we didn't feel rushed at all. We were given a printout estimate of recommended flea and tick control and heart worm medicine options. There was a bit of sticker shock, but I think that's true with ANY veterinarian office. (Flea and heart worm control simply isn't cheap, but necessary.) We opted for what we deemed necessary and declined some that, at this time, were not urgent. We didn't feel any pressure. I do like that they have a separate entrance for cats and dogs-- otherwise Walter might've got a bit ballistic if he was a feline. He's never lived with one, as far as I know, but when he sees the neighborhood cat-- he gets a bit bent out of shape. I think we found our vet.

We had a great experience with our rabbit Alfie. All of our questions were answered at our first checkup and the Doctor and all the staff are very friendly. We went back a week later for surgery and had another wonderful experience. We felt Alfie was in good hands. When we picked him up we got told a few times how cute he is. Our dog Sadie Luna loves Dr. Rockwood and everyone at Toro Park Animal Hospital. As a matter of fact whenever we walk past the office she wants to go in and we have a couple of times. They have taken her in the back loved on her and sent her back to me. We have also taken advantage of their grooming services and were very pleased.
Everyone at the office is curtious, professional and welcoming.
I feel fortunate we have such a nice practice within walking distance.

My cat, Lucky, was mauled by an unknown assailant and pretty beaten and wounded. I took her to the hospital and while her treatment was expensive, it was vital to her survival and eventual cure. I am totally satisfied with all that the Doctors and Assistants did. They notified me when she would go to surgery and called me after the operation. They kept me fully informed every step of the way and watched over her recovery. First Class operation and I would give them 5 stars.( out of a total of )

One of my cats can be extremely difficult and they are very patient. They have been very helpful when I've needed to get my cat in quickly due to an emergency. I board my cats whenever I leave town since one of them needs medicine twice a day. He loves it there, and they treat him extremely well. Their boarding rates are also some of the best I've seen in the area.

Very professional and knowledgeable. I trust them with the health of my cat, who was "on her own" and developed allergies and infections, before being rescued by Animal
friends Rescue Project and adopted by me. She is a much healthier and happier cat, thanks to Dr. Rockwood and her group.
I appreciate that there is a separate entrance for cats and that their fees are very reasonable (especially since we are "frequent fliers" for allergy shots).
You will be very happy with the service and facility.

Great pet hospital. Wonderful, caring staff. They don't charge for emergency appointments for existing clients during the day. It was this reason that we left our last vet. If you can't get your sick pet into their doctor without being charged $50.00 extra during normal business hours, what's the point of establishing a relationship with a vet?

I am very happy with the friendly atmosphere and ALL the staff has been very nice and extremely helpful. And it's such a breath of fresh air to have reasonable prices and not feel like you're being taken to the cleaners. My 13 year old dog Kada had a sudden bladder problem and my normal vet wasn't able to see me that day and suggested that I take my dog to the emergency vet. We were on a recent trip and our dog needed to be seen. I had no idea where to go, but Google said Toro Park Animal Hospital was nearby. The whole experience was flawless. It is a nice facility, the new patient paperwork was easy, the staff was friendly and helpful. The doctor saw my dog immediately with no waiting, and it all worked out great. I used Toro Park AH for boarding. After my dog's visit he was clean, calm, and happy. The staff had fun playing with him and the doctor met with me at check out.

We had a great experience with our rabbit Alfie. All of our questions were answered at our first checkup and the Doctor and all the staff are very friendly. We went back a week later for surgery and had another wonderful experience. We felt Alfie was in good hands. When we picked him up we got told a few times how cute he is. Lovely they see the same in Alfie as we do :)

We had a great experience with our rabbit Alfie. All of our questions were answered at our first checkup and the Doctor and all the staff are very friendly. We went back a week later for surgery and had another wonderful experience. We felt Alfie was in good hands. When we picked him up we got told a few times how cute he is. Our dog Sadie Luna loves Dr. Rockwood and everyone at Toro Park Animal Hospital. As a matter of fact whenever we walk past the office she wants to go in and we have a couple of times. They have taken her in the back loved on her and sent her back to me. We have also taken advantage of their grooming services and were very pleased.
Everyone at the office is curtious, professional and welcoming.
I feel fortunate we have such a nice practice within walking distance.

My cat, Lucky, was mauled by an unknown assailant and pretty beaten and wounded. I took her to the hospital and while her treatment was expensive, it was vital to her survival and eventual cure. I am totally satisfied with all that the Doctors and Assistants did. They notified me when she would go to surgery and called me after the operation. They kept me fully informed every step of the way and watched over her recovery. First Class operation and I would give them 5 stars.( out of a total of )

One of my cats can be extremely difficult and they are very patient. They have been very helpful when I've needed to get my cat in quickly due to an emergency. I board my cats whenever I leave town since one of them needs medicine twice a day. He loves it there, and they treat him extremely well. Their boarding rates are also some of the best I've seen in the area.

Very professional and knowledgeable. I trust them with the health of my cat, who was "on her own" and developed allergies and infections, before being rescued by Animal
friends Rescue Project and adopted by me. She is a much healthier and happier cat, thanks to Dr. Rockwood and her group.
I appreciate that there is a separate entrance for cats and that their fees are very reasonable (especially since we are "frequent fliers" for allergy shots).
You will be very happy with the service and facility.
