My dog ingested aspirin and got very sick. I took him to CVPC with out an appointment and Dr. Diamond and his staff were very helpful. The receptionist was extremely helpful. They care! My dog is now much better back to his normal activities. I am very grateful to Dr. Diamond and his staff. Excellent service!!!

Called 10 different vets around me in point Loma this morning to get my dog seen. He was DEATHLY Ill, and no one would see him! Called Dr. Diamonds office, and they said I could drop off whenever and they would take care of him. Get there 20 minutes after the phone call (it's about 4 miles from my house and traffic) they had me fill put paperwork, the front desk guy, was so kind and caring and answered all of my questions. I was a manager at a vets office for a couple of years, so I was nervous leaving my boy with a vet I have never met. Around 12 I spoke to the Doctor, and he told me what he wanted to do to treat my boy. I agreed to everything, because he knows his stuff! He was so kind and caring to my pup, who I can admit, be a handful. I called back an hour later for prices. IT WAS SO AFFORDABLE! I was shocked. I was expecting to pay at least 1000, for what was wrong with him. I paid less then half that! I couldn't be happier. The staff is amazing too, and I honestly got off the phone and cried that they took such good care of my baby, and that he would be okay. 100% WILL recommend Dr. Diamond and his office again.

Awesome service! Dog was sick and they front desk was able to squeeze us in between Appts. Dr. Diamond was great. I had visited another vet and they wanted to do all kinds of tests and I felt pressured to buy their recommended products. Dr. Diamond suggested we start with diet and some meds before we do all kinds of expensive tested. Saved money and Dog was good to go within days. Thanks again. I will always return.

I know that my pets are in safe hands when they are at Clairemont Village Pet Clinic and I couldn't image seeking care for them anywhere else. When I called to book the appointment, I confirmed with the receptionist that my cat's wellness appointment would be $54 with no additional charges unless there was something wrong with him. At the appointment I was charged for vaccines and a nail trim without being notified beforehand. Despite being misled by the receptionist, I do understand that these are standard charges, but what is also standard is to be notified beforehand of the additional cost. My bill was just under 3x my anticipated cost. I do not have this kind of money to spare, and I felt very deceived.

Love CVPC we have two Doxie’s Willy and Princess and we have been part of the family since they were puppies until now which is 6 years! DR.Diamond is great and all his staff are fabulous. Whenever we call with any concerns there patient and helpful over the phone and if they think we should come in they always squeeze us in for a app. I’ve never felt pressured here for any reason. I’m sad because I’m moving to Minnesota and need to find a new vet ... I hope we can find one as good as these Guys! I would give Dr. Diamond five stars, I always highly recommend him, but after this last visit I don’t know what was going on, the front office didn’t greet us, the staff kept bugging Dr. Diamond, I couldn’t even get my questions answered and they never told me what they were doing to my puppies when they took them away from me, I had to ask then I had ask if I was finished, because I was left in the room by myself with my puppies. It was just very strange, I even told everybody have a good day they didn’t even acknowledge me so rude The staff was not friendly at all it was almost like they didn’t even like each other, but Dr. Diamond is the best !

Dr. Diamond has been taking care of all my fur babies for a long time (Since he started at this Clinic). He truly cares about his patients. He provides you with options and doesn't try to do anything that isn't necessary. He is one I trust and I will only take my babies to him. He knows they're like my kids.He even calls to check up if they've been really sick. The staff there also does a great job. Gigi, Juan, Tami, John and the others- sorry don't know everyone's names. They get me in ASAP when needed for illness. I can't Thank them enough!!!!

Dr. Diamond is awesome! We just moved to San Diego from North Carolina. I took my shih tzu there yesterday and was so impressed with the entire staff. From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left, everyone was so kind to both me and my pup. He got his booster shot, a great and very thorough checkup, and all the while Dr. Diamond and the staff made us both feel relaxed and comfortable. I feel like we've found the perfect Vet on the first try with Dr. Diamond. Thanks team for making us feel so at home and welcome!

I’ve been taking my two kitties to Clairemont Village Pet Clinic for over four years. Dr. Diamond and everyone on staff have always been so helpful , caring and take time to explain things patiently, and also provide options to help me determine treatments within my budget. When I’ve had sick fur babies, they always manage to get me in right away, and call back to check up on the sick baby. I’ve since referred several friends - all have been so happy with their experiences.

Doctor Diamond really is a great vet. Even though the place is busy and I could tell he had a lot of patients, everytime I was there it felt like he was my private vet. He cares a lot and knows a lot, and when he doesn't he isn't afraid to bring a book out and follow what it says. All in all I found the place by accident and can't imagine going to another vet in SD.

His professional knowledge and professional network are outstanding. and if he feels he isn't the best doctor to deal with an issue, he will send me to someone who is. I have appreciated how up to date the equipment and facilities are, enabling a lot of tests to be done in house for faster answers. The staff has always been top notch and very kind to my pets. In fact, one of my beloved cats came to me via one of the staff, as she rescued some kittens that needed homes. I always refer my friends to CVPC.

He was not friendly towards other people, and the animal humane society had to put him down..Whenever we took him to the vet, we always needed to sedate him in order to treat him. But, there was one vet who did not fear Bullet. This vet was Dr. Diamond....he took him & showed him who's the Alfa is in his clinic...I didn't need to pay so much like how I used to at the other clinics, (because he never sedated him...) he just took him even when he was at his aggressive state...so, if you are looking for a good vet go to Dr. Diamond!

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Diamond for more than 10 years and I've never had a bad experience yet. His staff are consistently kind, interested, responsive and respectful. It is an extremely busy practice because they are so good, but in spite of the busyness, my appointments are always respected and I always get a follow-up call a few days later to see how the patient is doing.
Most important to me -- Dr. Diamond is an AMAZING diagnostician. Every time my dogs have presented he has nailed the ailment perfectly and then treated my animals with the most effective cures/treatment.
I particularly love that Dr. Diamond is a small dog owner himself and has a special place in his heart for the animals he treats.
This place gets FIVE STARS in my book!

We had to send a beloved pet to the Rainbow Bridge last night. We called both of our regular vets at 5:50pm on a Friday night, and was told that the doctor was already gone or getting ready to leave. Then we called the Clairemont Village Pet Clinic at 5:52pm, and even though Jake had never been a patient before, they told us they would stay open for us. They met us in the parking lot to help unload, they did their best to save Jake after his stomach flipped, then - most importantly - they stayed for an hour, giving us time to grieve, but checking on us and talking with us about their own experiences with pet loss, assuring us that we gave Jake an excellent, long life, and offering plenty of hugs, Kleenex, and water. Death of a pet is a terrible thing, put having the right people around can lessen the pain just enough to make a real difference. Thank you, Clairemont Village Pet Clinic.

Dr. Tritt and Dr. Diamond are amazing. I have been taking my pup there for 8 years. They remember her, they know her, and they treat her like she was their dog. She had to have a pretty significant surgery a few years ago. Dr. Diamond did the surgery and she has been great since. The staff at the front desk, for the most part, has been around for the entire time I've been going to them and when I call to make an appointment, they all remember Delilah (my dog). They have to have a ton of patients and even though we don't go very often, they remember her, which is pretty cool. I really love the obvious care they show for their patients.

Dr Diamond goes the extra mile to personally follow up after your visit. He has hand selected his team who love their jobs. They are all very passionate about animals. The staff always remember my dogs name and they are always in a good mood. Most of the vets I have had in the past don't always help make the decision for you. Dr Diamond gives you your options and then tells you the best treatment plan for the situation. He helps you make the decision and feel confident that it is the best one. There is a huge gap in the level of care you will get from him vs other vets. You feel like you are visiting family.

Love CVPC we have two Doxie’s Willy and Princess and we have been part of the family since they were puppies until now which is 6 years! DR.Diamond is great and all his staff are fabulous. Whenever we call with any concerns there patient and helpful over the phone and if they think we should come in they always squeeze us in for a app. I’ve never felt pressured here for any reason. I’m sad because I’m moving to Minnesota and need to find a new vet ... I hope we can find one as good as these Guys! Thank you again to Dr. Diamond and his amazing staff for the many years of service to our babies!!!

I would give Dr. Diamond five stars, I always highly recommend him, but after this last visit I don’t know what was going on, the front office didn’t greet us, the staff kept bugging Dr. Diamond, I couldn’t even get my questions answered and they never told me what they were doing to my puppies when they took them away from me, I had to ask then I had ask if I was finished, because I was left in the room by myself with my puppies. It was just very strange, I even told everybody have a good day they didn’t even acknowledge me so rude The staff was not friendly at all it was almost like they didn’t even like each other, but Dr. Diamond is the best !

Dr. Diamond has been taking care of all my fur babies for a long time (Since he started at this Clinic). He truly cares about his patients. He provides you with options and doesn't try to do anything that isn't necessary. He is one I trust and I will only take my babies to him. He knows they're like my kids.He even calls to check up if they've been really sick. The staff there also does a great job. Gigi, Juan, Tami, John and the others- sorry don't know everyone's names. They get me in ASAP when needed for illness. I can't Thank them enough!!!!

Dr. Diamond is awesome! We just moved to San Diego from North Carolina. I took my shih tzu there yesterday and was so impressed with the entire staff. From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left, everyone was so kind to both me and my pup. He got his booster shot, a great and very thorough checkup, and all the while Dr. Diamond and the staff made us both feel relaxed and comfortable. I feel like we've found the perfect Vet on the first try with Dr. Diamond. Thanks team for making us feel so at home and welcome!

I’ve been taking my two kitties to Clairemont Village Pet Clinic for over four years. Dr. Diamond and everyone on staff have always been so helpful , caring and take time to explain things patiently, and also provide options to help me determine treatments within my budget. When I’ve had sick fur babies, they always manage to get me in right away, and call back to check up on the sick baby. I’ve since referred several friends - all have been so happy with their experiences.

Doctor Diamond really is a great vet. Even though the place is busy and I could tell he had a lot of patients, everytime I was there it felt like he was my private vet. He cares a lot and knows a lot, and when he doesn't he isn't afraid to bring a book out and follow what it says. All in all I found the place by accident and can't imagine going to another vet in SD.

His professional knowledge and professional network are outstanding. and if he feels he isn't the best doctor to deal with an issue, he will send me to someone who is. I have appreciated how up to date the equipment and facilities are, enabling a lot of tests to be done in house for faster answers. The staff has always been top notch and very kind to my pets. In fact, one of my beloved cats came to me via one of the staff, as she rescued some kittens that needed homes. I always refer my friends to CVPC.

I had a Saint Bernard (my "sweet" Bullet). He was not friendly towards other people, and the animal humane society had to put him down..Whenever we took him to the vet, we always needed to sedate him in order to treat him. But, there was one vet who did not fear Bullet. This vet was Dr. Diamond....he took him & showed him who's the Alfa is in his clinic...I didn't need to pay so much like how I used to at the other clinics, (because he never sedated him...) he just took him even when he was at his aggressive state...so, if you are looking for a good vet go to Dr. Diamond!

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Diamond for more than 10 years and I've never had a bad experience yet. His staff are consistently kind, interested, responsive and respectful. It is an extremely busy practice because they are so good, but in spite of the busyness, my appointments are always respected and I always get a follow-up call a few days later to see how the patient is doing.
Most important to me -- Dr. Diamond is an AMAZING diagnostician. Every time my dogs have presented he has nailed the ailment perfectly and then treated my animals with the most effective cures/treatment.
I particularly love that Dr. Diamond is a small dog owner himself and has a special place in his heart for the animals he treats.
This place gets FIVE STARS in my book!

We had to send a beloved pet to the Rainbow Bridge last night. We called both of our regular vets at 5:50pm on a Friday night, and was told that the doctor was already gone or getting ready to leave. Then we called the Clairemont Village Pet Clinic at 5:52pm, and even though Jake had never been a patient before, they told us they would stay open for us. They met us in the parking lot to help unload, they did their best to save Jake after his stomach flipped, then - most importantly - they stayed for an hour, giving us time to grieve, but checking on us and talking with us about their own experiences with pet loss, assuring us that we gave Jake an excellent, long life, and offering plenty of hugs, Kleenex, and water. Death of a pet is a terrible thing, put having the right people around can lessen the pain just enough to make a real difference. Thank you, Clairemont Village Pet Clinic.

Dr. Tritt and Dr. Diamond are amazing. I have been taking my pup there for 8 years. They remember her, they know her, and they treat her like she was their dog. She had to have a pretty significant surgery a few years ago. Dr. Diamond did the surgery and she has been great since. The staff at the front desk, for the most part, has been around for the entire time I've been going to them and when I call to make an appointment, they all remember Delilah (my dog). They have to have a ton of patients and even though we don't go very often, they remember her, which is pretty cool. I really love the obvious care they show for their patients.

Dr Diamond goes the extra mile to personally follow up after your visit. He has hand selected his team who love their jobs. They are all very passionate about animals. The staff always remember my dogs name and they are always in a good mood. Most of the vets I have had in the past don't always help make the decision for you. Dr Diamond gives you your options and then tells you the best treatment plan for the situation. He helps you make the decision and feel confident that it is the best one. There is a huge gap in the level of care you will get from him vs other vets. You feel like you are visiting family.
