We have clients that travel from Escondido, Chula Vista, and even Orange County to bring their precious pets to us for care.AAHA stands for the American Animal Hospital Association. The turnover of this establishment has left my poor dog without her medications she needs and has been on her whole life. I have been a client of the last 7 years and they will not refill her medications because I cannot come in for an exam anytime soon. They are not empathetic and will not help you problem solve. Now I have to reestablish with a vet that actually cares about their clients. I wish I could put zero stars.

They sell the medicine !overpriced! Mr. Cole the "veterinarian" never discussed the meds he prescribed with me. After he checked my dog he disappeared and somebody gave me a bunch of medications in the front desk. He wanted to practice surgery on my dog next day. I took my dog to Governor Clinic they said my dog doesn't need surgery. Customer service, prices and experience way better in this Clinic. If you want to waste your money go to Lifetime Animal Money Center. When you open the door make some noise so the lady in the front desk wakes up.

I went on vacation and when I got back my 12-year-old dog Josie (Beagle ) had an ear infection. Her regular vet was booked up for another eight days before I could get her in. So I called Lifetime and was able to schedule her in for the next morning to see the vet Dr. Sondi. The visit went well and the treatment prescribed had her well in no time.However last week in the earlier hours Josie went outside and took her last breath which was very difficult for our family. We wrapped her up and took her to Lifetime in order to have her cremated.To our great surprise a few days later we received a sympathy card signed by the entire staff with her paw print on a separate sheet of paper this gesture meant a great deal to my family and we will always be grateful this bed goes way beyond what I expected thank you Jerry Welch

I have been an animal advocate for over 10 years and ran a dachshund rescue. Educating adopters/owners on quality health care for their dachshunds was part of our program. I needed a good quality vet, close to home, that would actually LISTEN to me and treat me like a partner/advocate for my dogs. Not roll their eyes over my concern about my dog's elevated liver values. With Lifetime you get competent, compassionate and honest care. Their staff is friendly and caring but they don't get in your pet's face and goo-goo over them or over stimulate them. The vets explain everything and go over the information as many times as you need - answering all questions to your satisfaction. They cover all the different alternatives for care. They take calls and if your need is urgent, they make sure they get you in that day. I have not trusted my pet's doctors this much in a very, very long time and it feels so good - especially when my oldest boy is nearing the end of his life. I feel so much better knowing we are in such good hands. We have primarily seen Dr. Sondi who has become a lifeline. We have talked to Dr. Hardy on the phone once and for a well check for my two younger dachshunds. He recommended Cytopoint for my younger male's allergic scratching and it has changed his life! I highly recommend Lifetime!

This incident happened several months ago but it's important for this to be posted. I have gone to the vet at this Clinic for my last three dogs with the exception of my present dog. This was long before it became the Lifetime Animal Clinic so I've known this Vet for over 30 years, at least I thought I did. My animals and I were always treated with the utmost respect and my family and I were treated with deep sympathy when our animals had to be put down illnesses over the years.With my present dog due to location issues I have gone to another clinic. I decided to go back to my old vet (I will not mention his name) that has been there forever and ever but unfortunately I have a dog with extreme special needs... She has aggression issues with animals. She also has extreme anxiety with new people and especially the vet. She has never hurt a human. When the doctor came into the exam room the first thing out of his mouth was, " I don't treat aggressive dogs"... she had a split dew claw that was causing her extreme pain and keeping her from exercise which is very important for my dog. The vet refused to touch her even when I suggested that he muzzle her. Her behavior was not aggressive, she was anxious and nervous. In no way, shape or form was she showing any aggressive signs, simply anxious barking on and off.I requested some tranquilizers which I was more than happy to pay for but was surprised when I was charged and office visit due to the fact that he refused to go near her let alone take a close look at her dew claw. Of course it would be ideal to have a perfect dog that was not aggressive but unfortunately I don't. I was appalled by not only the vets demeanour with me, but more blown away by his attitude, he almost seemed angry. On a better note, his nurse and office staff were very nice.

Our 17-year-old terrier had a nasty abscessed tooth that was leaving him in a lot of pain. As you can imagine, we were very nervous about our senior dog being operated on. The vet walked us through all of the tests to ensure our dog was in good condition for surgery. Our dog passed the tests with flying colors and we opted to have the tooth extracted.Dr. Sondhi addressed all of our concerns and assured us that there would be extra help in the operating room to watch over our dog's vital signs. I am thrilled that the operation went well and our dog is no longer in pain with an abscess tooth. The staff and doctor were extremely professional and were very understanding with our concerns going into surgery.

Dr. Sondhi and the staff at Lifetime are everything we could want in a vet. We are on our third dog with them (2 labs and now our Swissy). The care is effective, professional and responsive to our needs. Dr. Sondhi is patient with our never ending list of questions and always available when we need to talk with him. And when our Swissy was recovering from an artificial hip procedure, she received a get-well card in the mail. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Sondhi and the folks at Lifetime.

We take both of our dogs to Lifetime Animal Care and have always been happy with the care they receive. We especially like Dr. Hardy and try to see him during all of our visits. He is very knowledgeable and caring and you can tell that he truly cares about all of his animal patients. Our youngest dog is still a bit nervous when visiting the vet and Dr. Hardy and all of the vet techs are very caring and encouraging with him. They offer a monthly preventative plan, which can be handy, especially for older pets who may need more care. Their prices are not inexpensive, but I've never felt that they are trying to charge me for anything unnecessary, and I think the prices are in line with the care that you receive. If you are looking for a trusted, honest vet, try Lifetime Animal Care.

My cats are my babies and I am so picky about the people I bring them to.Lifetime has been my go to for them and they didn't disappoint.My kitty is suspected to have a disease that's incurable and has just about a 100% fatality rate, and the vet did an absolutely wonderful job consoling me, informing me about the disease, and without sugar coating or trying to make me purchase more services. She was very caring and I could tell she genuinely felt for me and my cat after breaking the sad news. I was there for about 3 hours, though I wasn't bothered by it since I was so preoccupied thinking about my cat. But the staff compensated me for my time and were very apologetic about how long I was there. I can't say I feel any better about my cats current diagnosis, since it's pretty grim, but I want to thank Lifetime and the vet who assisted me for being there and for providing wonderful service to me and my kitty. I will be returning when it comes time to bring in my other car for a check up.

It comes down to trust. In the Midwest where I'm from, people have to build solid relationships with their patients because in small towns, reputation really follows you. Here a great doctor or vet is harder to find. and vets here have higher overhead expenses so the price is much higher on ordinary procedures.I'll spare you the gory details of my dog Tikaani's health issues, but the gist of what I want to say is this: My sweet dog is back to her old self again and I feel so much happier because she's well and happy!Michelle Donald will give it to you clear and straight, and she will do whatever she can to support you emotionally through what can be an anxiety-producing process (I was a total basket case when we went in) I love her! To be clear about this review- I can only speak to Michelle Donald's awesomeness, if you need a great vet she's your gal!

Dr. Hardy and his staff have taken exceptional care of our 4 legged kids for well over 27 years. He has helped us welcome our new additions and helped us say good bye to our longtime loved ones. To say the staff at Lifetime Animal Care Center is knowlagable, well informed, kind and caring really doesn't seem adequate. I'm not sure how to put into words the comfort and trust I feel when receiving the care and attention Dr. Hardy and his staff gives. I was referred here when my previous vet office closed. Originally it was just a couple run of the mill annual checkups, but then one day out of the blue I realized that I hadn't seen my cat eat in a long time and she looked very sickly all of a sudden. This was the day in March that began a severe health crisis for my cat. It was awful; she wasn't eating or drinking and had lost over a lbs (she only weighed 8 to start with) in over a month. She needed immediate emergency intervention and diagnosis. Wouldn't it be great if our pets could just tell us what was wrong with them? Unfortunately that is not the case and we began the difficult process of trying to find the root of some major digestive problems, with Dr. Sandhi leading the charge. The diagnosis needed was extensive and to say it was emotionally draining is an understatement, but the care and support we received from Dr. Sandhi and his staff was top notch the entire way. When urgent issues would arise that required same day visits, he always managed to fit us in. And although it took some time, we ultimately found the path to managing and treating what could have been a life threatening illness for the most amazing cat in the world (obviously I am not biased here ;).Ultimately, our cat has turned the corner and is now back to her old self. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Sandhi and the Lifetime team and would not allow another vet to even look at my cat without consulting them first.Thank you Dr. Sandhi and team from Izzy and her family!!!

Wow! Everyone at Lifetime Animal Care Center is so caring and helpful. I've been very impressed over the last year of taking my cat to them. Today I brought my cat in for some shots and also brought in a checklist of items we need to complete before we move out of the country to make sure she can immigrate without quarantine. The vet tech went above and beyond to help me make sure my cat was compliant with the immigration criteria, even doing external research to help me figure out the best way to handle the cat immigration paperwork, and made the proper appointments for my cat here before we leave. Thanks so much!! You guys are the best!!

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Hardy and the staff at Lifetime Animal Care Center since 1985, with total and complete confidence and satisfaction. I left San Diego in 1993 to move north for a few years. When I returned in 2009, the first thing I did was check to make sure he was still practicing. I was overjoyed that he was, with a much larger and now newer facility. They always try to make the pet feel comfortable by talking to them and giving them some attention, before beginning the exam. And they listen to and are considerate of us pet parents as well. Thumbs up!!!

I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic. The staff are always helpful and courteous, and I can't say enough about Dr Pizzo and Dr Hardy. I would give them 10 stars! My dog Oliver was very sick with chronic pancreatitis, and after 3 episodes within a 2 month period, I'm happy to say he is now thriving and well due to the care provided by these wonderful vets. There are numerous vets close by where I live, but I drive 15 miles out of my way due to the exemplary service my pet receives at Lifetime Animal Care.

Lifetime Animal Care Center is a community staple in the Clairemont area with a long history of high quality veterinary care. It is a small practice where you are given incredible customer service and your pets receive the best medical treatment. The friendly staff, clean environment and caring doctors make this my first choice to take my three dogs. I found them after an emergency visit gave me an astronomical quote for what ended up being a rather routine but necessary procedure. I drove from Bonita and I will gladly travel that distance any day to ensure that we are seeing the kindest and most knowledgeable veterinarians and technicians. This practice is truly a gem.( from experience all of the veterinarians are fantastic, every choice is a good one!)

This is a long awaited review, I was so frustrated and upset I just wanted to put it out of my mind. Until now. I want to make this short and to the point. What this clinic could not diagnose in a matter of 7 hours, another clinic diagnosed in 5 minutes. My cat was being poked and prodded to diagnose the reddish spots he was leaving around our house. Urinalysis... Blood tests... Caged all day until the vet could see him (Duke was aggressive, said the people who left him caged all day). Of course they charged me a ridiculous amount. Well folks, are you ready for the diagnosis this other clinic made?FLEA POOP!!!!! No urinalysis or blood test needed to determine a very obvious diagnosis. Just a set of competent eyes and 5 minutes. Well done Lifetime Animal Care Center... You earned one star and lost my business.

I brought my dog to Lifetime Animal Care Center for a second opinion. They are not my primary veterinary center because I live quite a distance away. I trust the doctors and staff and it was definitely worth the trip. Dr. Hardy detected a large mass in my dog's abdomen. He delivered the news with great care and compassion, recommending a specialist to further assess the options. Rosie ended up having surgery and is doing fine. Without this early detection, Rosie would likely have experienced an internal hemorrhage, requiring surgery under emergency and much less favorable conditions. Lifetime Animal Care Center provided excellent care for my pet and efficient coordination with the specialist and my regular vet. If I lived closer I would surely make them my primary care center.

We have clients that travel from Escondido, Chula Vista, and even Orange County to bring their precious pets to us for care.AAHA stands for the American Animal Hospital Association. The turnover of this establishment has left my poor dog without her medications she needs and has been on her whole life. I have been a client of the last 7 years and they will not refill her medications because I cannot come in for an exam anytime soon. They are not empathetic and will not help you problem solve. Now I have to reestablish with a vet that actually cares about their clients. I wish I could put zero stars.

They sell the medicine !overpriced! Mr. Cole the "veterinarian" never discussed the meds he prescribed with me. After he checked my dog he disappeared and somebody gave me a bunch of medications in the front desk. He wanted to practice surgery on my dog next day. I took my dog to Governor Clinic they said my dog doesn't need surgery. Customer service, prices and experience way better in this Clinic. If you want to waste your money go to Lifetime Animal Money Center. When you open the door make some noise so the lady in the front desk wakes up.

I went on vacation and when I got back my 12-year-old dog Josie (Beagle ) had an ear infection. Her regular vet was booked up for another eight days before I could get her in. So I called Lifetime and was able to schedule her in for the next morning to see the vet Dr. Sondi. The visit went well and the treatment prescribed had her well in no time.However last week in the earlier hours Josie went outside and took her last breath which was very difficult for our family. We wrapped her up and took her to Lifetime in order to have her cremated.To our great surprise a few days later we received a sympathy card signed by the entire staff with her paw print on a separate sheet of paper this gesture meant a great deal to my family and we will always be grateful this bed goes way beyond what I expected thank you Jerry Welch

I have been an animal advocate for over 10 years and ran a dachshund rescue. Educating adopters/owners on quality health care for their dachshunds was part of our program. I needed a good quality vet, close to home, that would actually LISTEN to me and treat me like a partner/advocate for my dogs. Not roll their eyes over my concern about my dog's elevated liver values. With Lifetime you get competent, compassionate and honest care. Their staff is friendly and caring but they don't get in your pet's face and goo-goo over them or over stimulate them. The vets explain everything and go over the information as many times as you need - answering all questions to your satisfaction. They cover all the different alternatives for care. They take calls and if your need is urgent, they make sure they get you in that day. I have not trusted my pet's doctors this much in a very, very long time and it feels so good - especially when my oldest boy is nearing the end of his life. I feel so much better knowing we are in such good hands. We have primarily seen Dr. Sondi who has become a lifeline. We have talked to Dr. Hardy on the phone once and for a well check for my two younger dachshunds. He recommended Cytopoint for my younger male's allergic scratching and it has changed his life! I highly recommend Lifetime!

This incident happened several months ago but it's important for this to be posted. I have gone to the vet at this Clinic for my last three dogs with the exception of my present dog. This was long before it became the Lifetime Animal Clinic so I've known this Vet for over 30 years, at least I thought I did. My animals and I were always treated with the utmost respect and my family and I were treated with deep sympathy when our animals had to be put down illnesses over the years.With my present dog due to location issues I have gone to another clinic. I decided to go back to my old vet (I will not mention his name) that has been there forever and ever but unfortunately I have a dog with extreme special needs... She has aggression issues with animals. She also has extreme anxiety with new people and especially the vet. She has never hurt a human. When the doctor came into the exam room the first thing out of his mouth was, " I don't treat aggressive dogs"... she had a split dew claw that was causing her extreme pain and keeping her from exercise which is very important for my dog. The vet refused to touch her even when I suggested that he muzzle her. Her behavior was not aggressive, she was anxious and nervous. In no way, shape or form was she showing any aggressive signs, simply anxious barking on and off.I requested some tranquilizers which I was more than happy to pay for but was surprised when I was charged and office visit due to the fact that he refused to go near her let alone take a close look at her dew claw. Of course it would be ideal to have a perfect dog that was not aggressive but unfortunately I don't. I was appalled by not only the vets demeanour with me, but more blown away by his attitude, he almost seemed angry. On a better note, his nurse and office staff were very nice.

Our 17-year-old terrier had a nasty abscessed tooth that was leaving him in a lot of pain. As you can imagine, we were very nervous about our senior dog being operated on. The vet walked us through all of the tests to ensure our dog was in good condition for surgery. Our dog passed the tests with flying colors and we opted to have the tooth extracted.Dr. Sondhi addressed all of our concerns and assured us that there would be extra help in the operating room to watch over our dog's vital signs. I am thrilled that the operation went well and our dog is no longer in pain with an abscess tooth. The staff and doctor were extremely professional and were very understanding with our concerns going into surgery.

Dr. Sondhi and the staff at Lifetime are everything we could want in a vet. We are on our third dog with them (2 labs and now our Swissy). The care is effective, professional and responsive to our needs. Dr. Sondhi is patient with our never ending list of questions and always available when we need to talk with him. And when our Swissy was recovering from an artificial hip procedure, she received a get-well card in the mail. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Sondhi and the folks at Lifetime.

We take both of our dogs to Lifetime Animal Care and have always been happy with the care they receive. We especially like Dr. Hardy and try to see him during all of our visits. He is very knowledgeable and caring and you can tell that he truly cares about all of his animal patients. Our youngest dog is still a bit nervous when visiting the vet and Dr. Hardy and all of the vet techs are very caring and encouraging with him. They offer a monthly preventative plan, which can be handy, especially for older pets who may need more care. Their prices are not inexpensive, but I've never felt that they are trying to charge me for anything unnecessary, and I think the prices are in line with the care that you receive. If you are looking for a trusted, honest vet, try Lifetime Animal Care.

My cats are my babies and I am so picky about the people I bring them to.Lifetime has been my go to for them and they didn't disappoint.My kitty is suspected to have a disease that's incurable and has just about a 100% fatality rate, and the vet did an absolutely wonderful job consoling me, informing me about the disease, and without sugar coating or trying to make me purchase more services. She was very caring and I could tell she genuinely felt for me and my cat after breaking the sad news. I was there for about 3 hours, though I wasn't bothered by it since I was so preoccupied thinking about my cat. But the staff compensated me for my time and were very apologetic about how long I was there. I can't say I feel any better about my cats current diagnosis, since it's pretty grim, but I want to thank Lifetime and the vet who assisted me for being there and for providing wonderful service to me and my kitty. I will be returning when it comes time to bring in my other car for a check up.

It comes down to trust. In the Midwest where I'm from, people have to build solid relationships with their patients because in small towns, reputation really follows you. Here a great doctor or vet is harder to find. and vets here have higher overhead expenses so the price is much higher on ordinary procedures.I'll spare you the gory details of my dog Tikaani's health issues, but the gist of what I want to say is this: My sweet dog is back to her old self again and I feel so much happier because she's well and happy!Michelle Donald will give it to you clear and straight, and she will do whatever she can to support you emotionally through what can be an anxiety-producing process (I was a total basket case when we went in) I love her! To be clear about this review- I can only speak to Michelle Donald's awesomeness, if you need a great vet she's your gal!

To say the staff at Lifetime Animal Care Center is knowlagable, well informed, kind and caring really doesn't seem adequate. I'm not sure how to put into words the comfort and trust I feel when receiving the care and attention Dr. Hardy and his staff gives. I was referred here when my previous vet office closed. Originally it was just a couple run of the mill annual checkups, but then one day out of the blue I realized that I hadn't seen my cat eat in a long time and she looked very sickly all of a sudden. This was the day in March that began a severe health crisis for my cat. It was awful; she wasn't eating or drinking and had lost over a lbs (she only weighed 8 to start with) in over a month. She needed immediate emergency intervention and diagnosis. Wouldn't it be great if our pets could just tell us what was wrong with them? Unfortunately that is not the case and we began the difficult process of trying to find the root of some major digestive problems, with Dr. Sandhi leading the charge. The diagnosis needed was extensive and to say it was emotionally draining is an understatement, but the care and support we received from Dr. Sandhi and his staff was top notch the entire way. When urgent issues would arise that required same day visits, he always managed to fit us in. And although it took some time, we ultimately found the path to managing and treating what could have been a life threatening illness for the most amazing cat in the world (obviously I am not biased here ;).Ultimately, our cat has turned the corner and is now back to her old self. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Sandhi and the Lifetime team and would not allow another vet to even look at my cat without consulting them first.Thank you Dr. Sandhi and team from Izzy and her family!!!

Wow! Everyone at Lifetime Animal Care Center is so caring and helpful. I've been very impressed over the last year of taking my cat to them. Today I brought my cat in for some shots and also brought in a checklist of items we need to complete before we move out of the country to make sure she can immigrate without quarantine. The vet tech went above and beyond to help me make sure my cat was compliant with the immigration criteria, even doing external research to help me figure out the best way to handle the cat immigration paperwork, and made the proper appointments for my cat here before we leave. Thanks so much!! You guys are the best!!

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Hardy and the staff at Lifetime Animal Care Center since 1985, with total and complete confidence and satisfaction. I left San Diego in 1993 to move north for a few years. When I returned in 2009, the first thing I did was check to make sure he was still practicing. I was overjoyed that he was, with a much larger and now newer facility. They always try to make the pet feel comfortable by talking to them and giving them some attention, before beginning the exam. And they listen to and are considerate of us pet parents as well. Thumbs up!!!

I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic. The staff are always helpful and courteous, and I can't say enough about Dr Pizzo and Dr Hardy. I would give them 10 stars! My dog Oliver was very sick with chronic pancreatitis, and after 3 episodes within a 2 month period, I'm happy to say he is now thriving and well due to the care provided by these wonderful vets. There are numerous vets close by where I live, but I drive 15 miles out of my way due to the exemplary service my pet receives at Lifetime Animal Care.

Lifetime Animal Care Center is a community staple in the Clairemont area with a long history of high quality veterinary care. It is a small practice where you are given incredible customer service and your pets receive the best medical treatment. The friendly staff, clean environment and caring doctors make this my first choice to take my three dogs. I found them after an emergency visit gave me an astronomical quote for what ended up being a rather routine but necessary procedure. I drove from Bonita and I will gladly travel that distance any day to ensure that we are seeing the kindest and most knowledgeable veterinarians and technicians. This practice is truly a gem.( from experience all of the veterinarians are fantastic, every choice is a good one!)

This is a long awaited review, I was so frustrated and upset I just wanted to put it out of my mind. Until now. I want to make this short and to the point. What this clinic could not diagnose in a matter of 7 hours, another clinic diagnosed in 5 minutes. My cat was being poked and prodded to diagnose the reddish spots he was leaving around our house. Urinalysis... Blood tests... Caged all day until the vet could see him (Duke was aggressive, said the people who left him caged all day). Of course they charged me a ridiculous amount. Well folks, are you ready for the diagnosis this other clinic made?FLEA POOP!!!!! No urinalysis or blood test needed to determine a very obvious diagnosis. Just a set of competent eyes and 5 minutes. Well done Lifetime Animal Care Center... You earned one star and lost my business.

I brought my dog to Lifetime Animal Care Center for a second opinion. They are not my primary veterinary center because I live quite a distance away. I trust the doctors and staff and it was definitely worth the trip. Dr. Hardy detected a large mass in my dog's abdomen. He delivered the news with great care and compassion, recommending a specialist to further assess the options. Rosie ended up having surgery and is doing fine. Without this early detection, Rosie would likely have experienced an internal hemorrhage, requiring surgery under emergency and much less favorable conditions. Lifetime Animal Care Center provided excellent care for my pet and efficient coordination with the specialist and my regular vet. If I lived closer I would surely make them my primary care center.
