I loved this hospital because of the staff,Jennifer is amazing and Dr Roza was the best she saved my beautiful beloved cat Thumbelina and she is passionate about animals which was important to me.Since she left I won’t be returning because the new doctor wasn’t up to par and took 4 days to return my call about my sick cat that is on medication and need to know dosage information. Dr Roza was one of a kind and will be missed.

Max and Giovanni (cats) have been patients here for four years and they have had the best care from the friendly and competent staff. Giovanni received a misdiagnosis at another vet who said he had to be put to sleep but Dr. Rosa made a correct diagnosis and saved Giovanni's life.

They worked with us on treatment and costs to take care of them. We board r little Leo kitty w/them when we travel and know he is loved at Bayside. My dachshund 14yrs. old had to be put down. Dr. R & Jennifer had a beautiful goodbye time for Molly. A forever memory. I highly recommend Bayside.

Bayside is wonderful. We went to their office with two senior cats we loved. The office staff was warm. Medical services were excellent and costs were quite reasonable. When we had to board our cats, from time to time, they provided professional services and understanding. When it was time to let each one of our cats go, they were respectful and caring. Then we adopted a three year old cat they had living in the office. This cat has brought great comfort to us.
Recently dog owners we had referred a few years ago also had to put their dog down. They had the same great experience of compassion we received. I would like to add that their dog's life was extended at least three years by the type of treatment provided! We highly recommend Bayside to all pet owners.

I have been taking my cats to Bayside Vet for a couple of years now. After making the move to San Diego from LA I was worried about finding a great vet that I could not only trust, but that I could also afford. I am so thrilled with the service and attention my cats have always received here. I recently adopted a pug puppy at 8 weeks old and it is my first time caring for a dog. I have called Bayside almost every day since bringing her home and every time I call with my questions I could have probably just googled, they take the time to educate me. I could not ask for a better and more helpful staff.

My 13 year old Chihuahua mix was very ill from a smoked pork bone that splintered in his stomach and intestines. Dr. Rozsa worked tirelessly to help him without surgery. She saved his life, and all the while was sweet and gentle to him as if he was her own pet. The cost was incredibly fair and he is acting like a puppy again, playful and energetic. I can't say enough good things about this veterinary clinic.

Don't know what that guy was talking about. I love, love, love Bayside. I tried them out on a whim since I always walked past the clinic. First off new clients get a 25% discount. I mostly stopped in to see their rates on teeth cleaning. Another vet had quoted me at $400 for just the basic cleaning. Bayside in total was $240 for exam, anesthesia, cleaning, sub q fluids and even pain meds and antibiotics when surprise, one of my cats teeth fell out because it was rotted. I just thought she had bad breath. They didn't charge extra for dealing with the tooth. A day later they called to see how she was doing and gave me a free follow up to see how the socket was doing where the bad tooth was. I've had some health mysteries with my cats and they've always been helpful, concerned and never pressure you into doing any tests you don't want to. They also give you an estimate before hand so you can make a decision beforehand on whether you want to/can afford something. My favorite part about Bayside is once you get your yearly exam in you don't have to pay a consultation fee every time you come in. Really helps save on getting the multiple kitten or puppy vaccinations done. The staff area great. Easy to talk to, funny, don't rush you. Dr Rosza is go to vet at the clinic. She loves all animals but cat medicine is her passion. She loves on them during the exam. Rubbing their ears, giving kisses. She's gentle yet firm and really cares about how the cat's feeling. Like giving them water after administering a pill. We've recently moved out of the Point Loma area and are happily driving back to be seen.

To the public: Unfortunately we just noticed this review recently, This person brought large dogs and expected to pay a fee for dentals that would not even cover cost of the procedure. On top of this, the person is rude,abusive and violent, threatened to harm us and broke our phone; we were close to calling the police.So sorry we will not want to see such a client. We are all certified Doctors and our fees are very reasonable,with excellent medical outcomes, please come visit yourself and meet the Doctor and staff. The Manager

Made appointment for two of my dogs because they told us about a discount on dental cleaning during a prior visit. The day we took dogs in for appointment both staff who promised discount (on two separate visits) weren't there and the owner refused discount, saying he wouldn't earn a profit at the offered price. Disorganized staff that doesn't communicate well with each other or customers and an apparently stupid owner who would rather lose 4 dogs as patients than lose $50 or so on services while honoring what his own staff promised. Very rude people when confronted with a problem of their own making, particularly Dr Rosza and the owner. Go anywhere but here, you can't trust them.

Every staff member treats my cat with the same love and respect that I treat him with. The vets are very experienced and work around my cat's behavior, which is very sporadic. My experience has never been bad and gas always been warm understanding. Highly recommended to anyone!

My 13 year old Chihuahua mix was very ill from a smoked pork bone that splintered in his stomach and intestines. Dr. Rozsa worked tirelessly to help him without surgery. She saved his life, and all the while was sweet and gentle to him as if he was her own pet. The cost was incredibly fair and he is acting like a puppy again, playful and energetic. I can't say enough good things about this veterinary clinic.

My dog and I always stop by and visit between exams. He loves them all! They're professional, organized, clean and it's clear they love what they do and all work together as a team.

Don't know what that guy was talking about. I love, love, love Bayside. I tried them out on a whim since I always walked past the clinic. First off new clients get a 25% discount. I mostly stopped in to see their rates on teeth cleaning. Another vet had quoted me at $400 for just the basic cleaning. Bayside in total was $240 for exam, anesthesia, cleaning, sub q fluids and even pain meds and antibiotics when surprise, one of my cats teeth fell out because it was rotted. I just thought she had bad breath. They didn't charge extra for dealing with the tooth. A day later they called to see how she was doing and gave me a free follow up to see how the socket was doing where the bad tooth was. I've had some health mysteries with my cats and they've always been helpful, concerned and never pressure you into doing any tests you don't want to. They also give you an estimate before hand so you can make a decision beforehand on whether you want to/can afford something. My favorite part about Bayside is once you get your yearly exam in you don't have to pay a consultation fee every time you come in. Really helps save on getting the multiple kitten or puppy vaccinations done. The staff area great. Easy to talk to, funny, don't rush you. Dr Rosza is go to vet at the clinic. She loves all animals but cat medicine is her passion. She loves on them during the exam. Rubbing their ears, giving kisses. She's gentle yet firm and really cares about how the cat's feeling. Like giving them water after administering a pill. We've recently moved out of the Point Loma area and are happily driving back to be seen.

To the public: Unfortunately we just noticed this review recently, This person brought large dogs and expected to pay a fee for dentals that would not even cover cost of the procedure. On top of this, the person is rude,abusive and violent, threatened to harm us and broke our phone; we were close to calling the police.So sorry we will not want to see such a client. We are all certified Doctors and our fees are very reasonable,with excellent medical outcomes, please come visit yourself and meet the Doctor and staff. The Manager

Made appointment for two of my dogs because they told us about a discount on dental cleaning during a prior visit. The day we took dogs in for appointment both staff who promised discount (on two separate visits) weren't there and the owner refused discount, saying he wouldn't earn a profit at the offered price. Disorganized staff that doesn't communicate well with each other or customers and an apparently stupid owner who would rather lose 4 dogs as patients than lose $50 or so on services while honoring what his own staff promised. Very rude people when confronted with a problem of their own making, particularly Dr Rosza and the owner. Go anywhere but here, you can't trust them.
