Torrey Hills Pet Hospital

San Diego, California
General Info
Torrey Hills Pet Hospital offers veterinary services in California from its San Diego location by letting the pet set the pace for care. Ear position together with feet and body direction controls the whole process from approach to interpretation. Spatial reading proceeds with the way the pet’s body anchors its weight for support. It seems that frequent shifts of eye focus need a tail assist today. The “pause” is utilized in place of voice whenever dogs are over-attuned, and the “diagonal” (i.e., body positioning) is used when dogs feel tense towards a trainer’s direct approach. Those tools will be placed close to the training area but not used until the pets get acquainted with them. Torrey Hills Pet Hospital offers integrative diagnostics and surgical consultations with pain tracking, sensory response care, and mobility rehabilitation. Every treatment modifies itself during its application. When the pet’s body flattens or it averts its gaze, the session returns to “anchoring” (such as walking in circles) until the canine is calm. Aftercare (for owners) – hands (progression to side arcs), contrast, visual anchors and movement reentry. The measure prevents behavior spikes after the vet visit by ensuring continuity of care at home. Torrey Hills Pet Hospital offers an adjustable interaction experience through nonverbal signals and interaction pacing for San Diego families and California pet owners who seek services beyond standard healthcare. The team offers the following specialized services: Bloodwork, Cardiology, Dental Care, Diagnostics, and Emergency Care. Clients deeply appreciate the team’s devotion to care and attention to pets’ unique needs. Whether it’s a routine examination or an intricate surgical procedure, the animal clinic guarantees that your pet receives top-notch care in a serene and friendly atmosphere.

I have been going here for over a year now. Took me forever to find a vet I love. My dog has suffered from allergies for years and finally found a medicine that works here. Torrey Hills truly cares about the long term well being of your pet and is not looking to pump your dog full of extra drugs and tests to make a profit. Additionally the reception staff is always so friendly and make it a joy to come in. Read Less

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Foltz and his team. He is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He cared most about our dog and his wellness, providing the most cost-effective treatment advice. Background: Our 9 year old dog had a an extremely swollen lymph node under is jaw, Dr. Foltz checked, made a blood screen and quickly concluded that it was not cancer, our major concern at that time. We started with antibiotics same day suspecting bacterial infection, yet the next morning the inflammation took his upper lip and eye. We couldn't administer the antibiotic and dog was not able to open his mouth due to pain. He saw our dog first thing in the morning and had to sedate him to take a look at this teeth, dental X-ray... in short, Dr. Foltz spend 4-5 hours operating our dog's mouth, 4 extractions, sutures and drains from the swollen lymph node. Now, a week after, he was seen by Dr. Foltz a couple of time, and after completing the antibiotic treatment our dog has fully recovered. In short, Dr. Foltz was not only providing the right treatment, but also a thoughtful way to discuss it with us the options trying to avoid expenses that would have increased his revenues but without adding significant additional added value. Definitely outstanding service, pleasant and respectful to the customer pocket. Read Less
