We were referred here by our Tully's trainer, Brianna Alvarez (highly recommended if you need a pet trainer), and she was spot on. if you are searching for an excellent vet.....look no more. Having been fortunate enough to have UC Davis as our vet of choice for years, our standards for vet care are extremely high, but Angel Animal Hospital has met all of those expectations . We knew we, or rather, Waldo, was in great hands from the moment we entered the office. Sadly, we are leaving the area and only hope to find as caring a veterinarian as Dr. Ball and his wonderful staff. Read Less

My Dog, whom I'd inherited from a personal Close Friend, past client of theirs, was taken from Me in a most decidedly Heartless, sadistic, MOST unbelievable manner imagined..when He-King-,whom Ernesto Gonzalez & I had inherited, Loved, Cared Immensely For, MISS....was actually TAKEN from the pound by Them,where we were STOPPED IN PROCESS of Recovering Him, by a supposed, Un-Notarized, "very last wish" of our longtime friend, whom had Given Us Ownership after her death(we possess notarized documents, neighbor statements, character witnesses, videos, photos, ETC, plus endless heartache)...2 fellow pt Loma residents/Samaritans had taken his adorable, sweet self to pound, since he made it through tiny gap in canyon/field backyard fence (where he romped), since his chip/therapy dog tag on collar with name had not yet been changed due to friend passing in February(mourning).He was GIVEN to a male Technician working there, who'd expressed his wishes to have Him..We.Are.Devastated. Great Staff, wonderful atmosphere. First impressions go a long way with me. I just adopted two new family members/dogs (Daisey & Duke). I chose this location to have their wellness evaluation completely. Everyone, from the receptionist, the tech and the Doc were very professional and caring which in turn made me feel comfortable that I had chosen the right place. VCA Angel Animal Hospital is the place where Daisey & Duke will be getting all of their health needs taken care of. We could not be happier with the service that we have received at VCA for our 2 cats. The staff are compassionate and really do care for the needs of the pets and their owners. The prices they charge are very reasonable and there is no high pressure to add on unnecessary services to pad the bill. VCA is a great value and I highly recommend.Read Less

I came here because my dog was feeling sick. The doctor and the staff was very polite and welcoming. The only thing that bothered me was that I waited 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment but they apologized for the inconvenience. The doctor didn't give me unnecessary procedures.
