If I could give Market Street Vet ZERO stars, I would. I've taken both of my dogs to Market Street for the past 3 years... I have spent thousands in vet visits, appointments, medication... only to be treated like dirt.
I brought my 1 year old puppy in because she had a lump on her leg. First they told me they would do a biopsy. The service actually provided was a FNA (Fine Need Aspiration) - despite telling us they were doing a biopsy. I paid $190 for a FNA, which is really high compared to other vet clinics, but I trusted Market Street, so I just paid it.
We waited 4 days for our results, and had to call in numerous times to even get an update. Every time I called in I was told a different story.. the results weren't in yet, or they were but the vet was busy. No one seemed like they knew what was going on. Finally the vet called back and the only thing she could tell us was the test was inconclusive due to an inadequate sample. We paid $190 for a test that can't even provide a "yes" or a "no". We were told we would have to pay to have it done again, or pay to have it removed (which would be significantly more in cost).
So basically, we paid $190 for a service - got NO results due to an inadequate sample, and were told we would have to pay it again if we wanted any answers. (And that wasn't even a guarantee).
I have never been treated so poor ever. From day one, I knew Market Street was a more expensive vet, but I didn't mind because I love my dogs, and I trusted that Market Street was a knowledgeable facility. But to spend $190 for "we don't know" and be told the only option is to just pay them more?!?! It's ridiculous. So now we are looking up new vets and will have to pay to start the process all over somewhere else. Read Less
