I have owned my dog for almost 3 years and i looked over every vet withing 15 miles. Being my dog is a conformation (show) dog he does require special treatment at times. He travels to different states so he needs more vaccinations than most peoples pets. My previous vet would try to talk us out of the extra vaccinations which actually caused him to catch a virus. This office understands why he needs extra shots and is happy to supply them. He is an unusual breed so everyone in this office treats him like a rock star. I cannot express enough gratitude to San Dimas Animal Hospital. I will never use or recommend another vet ever again. I had been with another vet for years but that practice started changing things around and it was never as good as it used to be so we started bringing our dogs to San Dimas for various treatments. Because the other vet knew us, we still went there for our litters and general care, but not anymore. I rescued 3 very sick five week old puppies on Friday and brought them to San Dimas Animal Hospital. The entire staff from reception, to the vet tech to the vet himself was amazing and accommodating beyond words. They all went above and beyond and that’s what we are looking for in a vet. Wow, what an awesome place! My dalmatian injured herself one evening and I needed to go somewhere that was close to home and opened early in the morning. Thank goodness for the San Dimas Animal Hospital staff and Dr. Singh. The entire staff is awesome and make you feel right at home! So disappointed with this Vet hospital.. not only was the wait incredibly long, the vet didn't listen to me when describing my dogs symptoms. Ended taking her blood and giving meds she didn't need. I went to pick her up when they called me, waited  another 1 1/2 hours. Then they have theGall to leave a voicemail that I received when I got home telling me to pick up my dog, as she is "waiting patiently for you"... The San Dimas Animal Hospital is great in every way. Their receptionists were very responsive, which is already a plus from our previous vet (Blue Cross) who barely responds to phone calls at all. They are also open EVERY DAY, which means they will work with your inflexible schedule.We took our feisty dog (in a nice way to put it) to the pet hospital for a check up and potential sedation grooming. This is because he gets aggressive when it comes to people he doesn't know, or so I thought. He was just anxious, which means the grooming job could be done on a tranquilizer instead of a full on sedation.But his best work with my dog was when he discovered a foxtail burr in my dog's wound, which I knew there was a wound. He was able to bring my dog to take out the foxtail burr SAME DAY, and bandage him up. He healed in 3 weeks and is now groomed :).I'm extremely happy with the services and the friendliness of the hospital, and people below have often complained or mentioned the price. The prices are very fair, especially for grooming, and the checkup price is around ~$40 so I wouldn't say it is expensive at all. It's only about $10 more compared to the budget clinics AND it's the highest quality of service you can get.Go here to make your dogs happy!! Read Less

I brought my 1.5 year old golden for her first vet visit to San Dimas Hospital and Dr. Singh did not read the papers correctly, leading to her getting 2 vaccination shots that she didn't need. He reimbursed the vaccination fee and apologized. I understand that it happens, but my golden started feeling lethargic for two days. The session was also very hurried with a 40 minute wait time before we actually saw him. Would not recommend. Read Less

So I came in to get vaccines today and I checked in at 1:10 p.m. I waited around 45 minutes. two people that came in after me when in front of me for vaccines so I asked what was going on they tell me they have emergencies and they're feeling my vaccines. how is that when two other people that came in behind me are getting served€ before myself. When I asked the question what was taking so long the front office help gave me a dirty look as to why I am in such a rush when I have other things to do today. I watched the office staff work and it's very Troublesome to see three exam rooms open a whole waiting room of people and the staff is walking around in circles. The last time I was there two years ago I had taken myself off of the other account filled out all the paperwork but it seems that somebody didn't do their job over there once again and I had to refill out all my paperwork. So in regards to the poor customer service at San Dimas Animal Hospital I will no longer be having them providing me a service. Read Less

Dr. Singh is amazing. The staff is no less than amazing either! I'm from out of town; my pitbull had an issue and I called them as we were driving in. They had no problem getting us in. There were other issues my dog had with vomiting and they fixed that. We drive back home to Arizona and noticed she had a ruptured last on her side. (Super gross, looked like grind hamburger meat inside.) we decide to drive to California to have the Dr. operate on it. I took my mastiff to get checked out. Turns out my suspicion was right; he has a tumor on his testes; neuter time. So both my dogs went until the knife. They worked it out so I could still get back to Arizona at the right time. They are amazing. I got a quote to nether my mastiff and it was about $200 more. Another vet wanted like $1500 to remove the mast on my pit. They did it for significantly less. I like the fact Dr. Singh is not scared to do local procedures. Thank you for taking such good care of our family!Read Less

They were wonderful with me and my poor 17 year old cat when I took him there to be euthanized. The were so patient with the both of us. My cat never liked vets no matter how gentle they were; he only got crankier the sicker he was. And, he was mad at me for taking him there. You can imagine how bad I felt. The staff is completely accommodating. I had a back injury and needed vaccinations for my very large dog. To avoid having to load him in and out of the truck, the staff came to my truck to give him the vaccinations. They gave him his shots, drew blood, and took his temperature so quickly and he remained so calm, that they were climbing out of the truck while I was "waiting" for them to do it. I was shocked! My first time at San Dimas Hospital was with my little soul-dog, Andy. He had been given 6 month to live due to canine lymphoma. I did not like the Dr? that gave me that horrible news. He was very cold and unconcerned. So, I found San Dimas Hospital. They saw my distress and immediately began to console me. They examined him and told me about a clinic in Garden Grove. Dr. Singh made arrangements for us, and every other week Andy and I went to Garden Grove for his chemo sessions (4 hours each.) The weekends that we didn't go, arrangements were made for Andy to have chemo shots at San Dimas Animal Hospital. Even though Andy KNEW he was going to get these shots, he'd pull me out of the car and into the hospital where he was loved and treated. He knew he was being helped. He lived another 2 years!!! I have had nothing but the best experiences at this office. My daughter volunteered at this office when she was in high school and absolute loved it. It impressed her to the point that she majored in Animal Science and is pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Singh. I have been bringing my pets to him for almost 15 years. Even though I moved out of the area, I take the drive to his office for my pet's care. He is not only compassionate toward the animals but also kind to pet owners. He continues to spend just the right amount of time to answer all questions and calm fears as well as comfort pet owners when unfortunate news comes. The only complaint I have is the wait has become longer due to an increase in clientele because of his excellent reputation. The wait is worth the quality care he and his staff provide.
