This review isn't so much as a complaint as I hope it is a reminder to all pet owners to not be afraid to go out in search of second opinions. As a regular veterinarian, Dr. Singh is awesome. I got my first puppy and because of the amazing reviews, I decided to bring him here to get his shots. From our first visit, Dr. Singh was friendly and informative as to the vaccination schedule ahead of us and his prices were hard to beat. Fast forward to when my puppy was about 4 months old, he started getting symptoms of what looked like pink eye. I called Dr. Singh and he had me bring him in immediately. He diagnosed him with conjunctivitis (pink-eye in dogs) and sent us home with an ointment that we were to apply daily. Days passed, and my puppy didn't get any better. His pink eye seemed to have spread to his second eye and to top it off, he was getting crusts on his lips and had an swollen penis. Took him to Dr. Singh again, and he told us they were bug bites and that the swelling should subside in a couple of days. More days passed and by now my puppy had gotten crusts in his ears which I figured must have been from an ear infection. On top of that, he had been constipated for a while and when he finally pooped, he pushed so hard that he made his booty hole bleed. Brought him back to Dr. Singh who diagnosed him with an ear infection. He cleaned his ears out and gave us a cone to keep him from scratching his eyes (from the prolonged conjunctivitis). That weekend, my puppy was acting completely off. He was lethargic and just totally miserable. It was a Sunday morning and I decided to take him to an emergency clinic. As soon as the vet there saw him, she was immediately concerned with the crusts on his mouth and had tests done on them. She finally diagnosed him with PUPPY STRANGLES. I had never even heard of the disease before but she thoroughly explained to me what it was and the long road to recovery that lay ahead. I'll admit, I was pretty angry at this point. He had been misdiagnosed multiple times by his last vet. The new vet explained that puppy strangles was rare but that she didn't understand why the previous vet didn't think of testing the crusts. His disease was left untreated for so long that my puppy ended up losing most of the hair around his muzzle and eyelids. The thing that got me the most was the fact that this is potentially life threatening disease and here I was...just hearing about it.Dr. Singh is a great vet, no doubt in my mind. I do wish he would have taken more time to examine my dog any of the 3 times that we brought him. It's been 2 months and my puppy is still on medication and in recovery. I hope to be back in Dr. Singh's office for regular visits but when it comes to emergency needs, due to this case, I'll probably be seeking help elsewhere. Read Less
