We started taking our puppy here back in May. I signed up for the puppy preventative plan for $900 since we were going to neuter. After getting all his vaccines and his neutering done I totaled up all my bills and they do not add up to the $900. Not even $600. I contacted to confirm there were no more vaccines needed and they told me he was good until 1 year. So I asked for a copy of the puppy plan info again because there has to be some other services they provided that maybe I just forgot about, like maybe dental checkups. Nope. Pretty much a neuter/spay, vaccines, preventative checkup and unlimited nail trims. The same day they emailed me the flyer I voiced my concern about being sold a puppy plan that I thought was discounted services if I prepaid up front. That was back on July 17th. I didn’t hear back. July 21st I followed up again. This time I received a response stating my question was forwarded to the manager. After 3 more business days in July 24th I emailed again asking for the managers direct contact because no one has responded. As of July 29th I have yet to hear anything.
This is extremely sad because I didn’t want to have to find another vet. I am willing to pay for services rendered but am not happy for being sold something as if it’s and discount plan when it’s not. And the lack of response for their customer service is just unacceptable.
I will add it’s been hit or miss on the visits. They started off well. But then each visit we seemed to be upsold on other items. We’ve also come out of pocket an additional $125 for non preventative care items. The day before his neutering I was told drop off is at 9, they get started about 10 and it would be about 30 minutes and I would get a call after. Being concerned for a puppy going under I called at 11:45 when I didn’t hear back. I was then told he was set to start his procedure at 12:30. So at 1:45 I called and the vet tech I spoke to was very snarky telling me he was just getting started and not done and that they would CALL ME when he was. I would not have called those two times if I was not provided incorrect times from their employees.
We started taking our puppy to this vet in May and in just over 2 1/2 months we have paid out over $1000 all just for them to ignore my questions and concerns.

The staff at Arroyo Vet are absolutely wonderful. I've been taking my cats here for years and have always had great service. Unfortunately, my cat Nala had to be put to sleep two days ago. Everyone was very sympathetic and understanding. They are extremely compassionate and I'm fortunate to have this clinic so close to where I live.

First of all I am super thankful with the staff, they were able to get me an appt the day before my international fly. I was taking my two Yorkie's with me and I was missing their health certificate and some other shots. I called a bunch of other veterinary places and neither of them could see my dogs in time. I will always be grateful with the staff for being so understanding and giving me an appt right away even thought I was a first timer at this veterinary. Definitely recommend this loving place.

My dog needed some blood work done for an allergy test. It took 2 weeks to get the results only after my efforts of calling multiple times while getting a different excuse each time as to why I hadn't heard back yet. I had to call again the weekend after getting the results to find out what the Dr's plan was for my dog. He told his staff he left me a voice mail 3 days after the test was taken telling me the results and the plan of treatment. I never received and missed call or a voicemail from the vet. I am disappointed at the lack of communication that this vet has and will not be returning.

My hubby and I recently had to make the very difficult decision to put our beloved Billy the cat to sleep. The staff was so supportive and kind. They even took the time to send us a sympathy card. Each staff member wrote something in the card for us. I wasn't sure i could bring Billy's brother to this office due to the sad circumstances that took place. My hubby and I recently brought our beloved Billy the cat to the vet to be seen for an urgent situation that had occurred with him. The vet and his assistant were very patient and kind. Sadly, it was determined that poor Billy wouldn't get better and would need to be put to sleep. The staff really supported us with kindness and sympathy. They even sent a sympathy card to us, and everyone on staff took the time to express themselves in it. I wasn't sure that I could go back to this vet's office due to the sad situation that took place. But because of the kindness shown by the staff I will (in time) bring Billy's brother Redd there for check ups. I do love this place because the staff definitely cares about your pets and treat them accordingly. My GSD is my first pet so I may not know "normal" veterinary costs but we needed to have him neutere...
I do love this place because the staff definitely cares about your pets and treat them accordingly. My GSD is my first pet so I may not know "normal" veterinary costs but we needed to have him neutered and they quoted me $1200-1800 which I found to be outrageous. He had a special condition which needed to make the process more similar to a spay (cryptorchid) so I figured it would be a bit more but I kind of lost trust in this place after that. I ended up taking him to a local animal shelter for the procedure which came out to $270.

I've been on the eternal vet hunt for my boxer and Italian Greyhound mix and I just have never found the right one. I have to admit, I tried this place several years back with my cat, had a female dr. there and I was not impressed at all. Didn't go back for years - but thought I'd give it a try with my boxer because it's so convenient and so close to home. I think they got a new dr. in a while back and what a refreshing vet he is. He loves the animals, is kind, honest and fair. The office staff is also very caring now. Now, I take both my dogs, Maile and Hermes, here and will continue to do so as long as they retain this staff and I live in the area.

Not knowing anyone in the area since moving here we were in need of a vet for our little girl Daisy. They are located not far from where we live so I looked them up online. The reviews I read were good and they also had a website that offered a first time wellness exam for a huge discount. Of course that was great. When calling to make an appointment the girl was very friendly. Once at the appointment the staff was so friendly like we were there many times. Daisy was comfortable with them all and we have had very thorough exams and information for her each time.

Arroyo has a great staff, everyone is so friendly, even the pets there! Everytime I've went here, the costs were explained thoroughly and I've never felt like I was being cheated. I've noticed that they always throw in a couple things for free and I definitely appreciate every bit, pet bills can really add up but I trust these guys to help me make the right decision for my pet. Recently, my dog was acting strange and they had to stabilize her levels here and let me know I would have to take her to an emergency vet (VCA) down the street for overnight care. The vet at Arroyo let me know that they were going to charge at least double what I was paying and gave me good advice on how and what would happen if I took different routes. I really value and trust this staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend Arroyo and their staff to anyone looking for great care and a friendly staff!

What can i say about the staff at Arroyo Vet that i have not said before; they are the most loving and caring group of workers that take their job above and beyond. Dr. Mavi is the most caring vet i have ever known. He listens to your issues you may have with your pet, and gives you the best advice. As for the staff of techs and the receptionists at the front desk, i always feel so welcomed when i walk through the door, and they treat my dogs as part of a big family, and not just another client.

Dylan, my Doberman was referred to this clinic over 4 years ago by a fellow Doberman owner. He was a TOUGH CASE by any standards! As a rescue at 3 yrs old, he had severe anxiety, little socialization, fear aggression, chronic skin and allergy problems, and was so sensitive to simple flea, tick and heart worm treatments, he would have diarrhea and vomit for days after. He was a quivering mess at other vet's, even VCA and a dermatology specialist made no improvements in his condition over a 2 yr period. It was frightening for Dylan, frustrating and expensive for us! At Arroyo, the staff always greet us with a smile, and this is truly became "the place where everyone knows His name". Here Dylan has blossomed and overcome his worst fears and health concerns. Together, with the patience and perseverance of Dr Mavi and his whole staff, Dylan at 9 yrs old is in the best health and condition of his life. He feels like Arroyo is his second home. Every staff member makes a point of stopping to say "Hi Dylan!" and give him a TicTac (his favorite treat). They make him like the "Prince of Arroyo"! Without reservation or hesitation, I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wanted conscientious and affordable health care for their beloved four-legged fur-baby!

First of all I am super thankful with the staff, they were able to get me an appt the day before my international fly. I was taking my two Yorkie's with me and I was missing their health certificate and some other shots. I called a bunch of other veterinary places and neither of them could see my dogs in time. I will always be grateful with the staff for being so understanding and giving me an appt right away even thought I was a first timer at this veterinary. Definitely recommend this loving place.

My dog needed some blood work done for an allergy test. It took 2 weeks to get the results only after my efforts of calling multiple times while getting a different excuse each time as to why I hadn't heard back yet. I had to call again the weekend after getting the results to find out what the Dr's plan was for my dog. He told his staff he left me a voice mail 3 days after the test was taken telling me the results and the plan of treatment. I never received and missed call or a voicemail from the vet. I am disappointed at the lack of communication that this vet has and will not be returning.

My hubby and I recently had to make the very difficult decision to put our beloved Billy the cat to sleep. The staff was so supportive and kind. They even took the time to send us a sympathy card. Each staff member wrote something in the card for us. I wasn't sure i could bring Billy's brother to this office due to the sad circumstances that took place. But due to the kind and supportive staff I will continue to use them for my cat's vet needs. Thank you to all at Arroyo Vet Clinic

My hubby and I recently brought our beloved Billy the cat to the vet to be seen for an urgent situation that had occurred with him. The vet and his assistant were very patient and kind. Sadly, it was determined that poor Billy wouldn't get better and would need to be put to sleep. The staff really supported us with kindness and sympathy. They even sent a sympathy card to us, and everyone on staff took the time to express themselves in it. I wasn't sure that I could go back to this vet's office due to the sad situation that took place. But because of the kindness shown by the staff I will (in time) bring Billy's brother Redd there for check ups. Thank you so much Arroyo Vet Clinic for helping us through a very difficult time.Lauretta

I do love this place because the staff definitely cares about your pets and treat them accordingly. My GSD is my first pet so I may not know "normal" veterinary costs but we needed to have him neutere...
I do love this place because the staff definitely cares about your pets and treat them accordingly. My GSD is my first pet so I may not know "normal" veterinary costs but we needed to have him neutered and they quoted me $1200-1800 which I found to be outrageous. He had a special condition which needed to make the process more similar to a spay (cryptorchid) so I figured it would be a bit more but I kind of lost trust in this place after that. I ended up taking him to a local animal shelter for the procedure which came out to $270.

I received a flyer in the mail shortly after moving into the area, it was the first number I called when my cat came down with a couple of issues. Luckily they had a spot open in the evening and I was able to get care for our little kitty. They were kind, patient and listened to all the information presented to make a strong diagnosis. My wife and I will be coming here for our pet needs from now on.

I've been on the eternal vet hunt for my boxer and Italian Greyhound mix and I just have never found the right one. I have to admit, I tried this place several years back with my cat, had a female dr. there and I was not impressed at all. Didn't go back for years - but thought I'd give it a try with my boxer because it's so convenient and so close to home. I think they got a new dr. in a while back and what a refreshing vet he is. He loves the animals, is kind, honest and fair. The office staff is also very caring now. Now, I take both my dogs, Maile and Hermes, here and will continue to do so as long as they retain this staff and I live in the area.

Not knowing anyone in the area since moving here we were in need of a vet for our little girl Daisy. They are located not far from where we live so I looked them up online. The reviews I read were good and they also had a website that offered a first time wellness exam for a huge discount. Of course that was great. When calling to make an appointment the girl was very friendly. Once at the appointment the staff was so friendly like we were there many times. Daisy was comfortable with them all and we have had very thorough exams and information for her each time.

Arroyo has a great staff, everyone is so friendly, even the pets there! Everytime I've went here, the costs were explained thoroughly and I've never felt like I was being cheated. I've noticed that they always throw in a couple things for free and I definitely appreciate every bit, pet bills can really add up but I trust these guys to help me make the right decision for my pet. Recently, my dog was acting strange and they had to stabilize her levels here and let me know I would have to take her to an emergency vet (VCA) down the street for overnight care. The vet at Arroyo let me know that they were going to charge at least double what I was paying and gave me good advice on how and what would happen if I took different routes. I really value and trust this staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend Arroyo and their staff to anyone looking for great care and a friendly staff!

What can i say about the staff at Arroyo Vet that i have not said before; they are the most loving and caring group of workers that take their job above and beyond. Dr. Mavi is the most caring vet i have ever known. He listens to your issues you may have with your pet, and gives you the best advice. As for the staff of techs and the receptionists at the front desk, i always feel so welcomed when i walk through the door, and they treat my dogs as part of a big family, and not just another client.

I think Arroyo is one of the best with wonderful caring staff. Had to deal with losing pets over the years and had caring doctor sit with me during the difficult process of losing one's best friend. Dylan, my Doberman was referred to this clinic over 4 years ago by a fellow Doberman owner. He was a TOUGH CASE by any standards! As a rescue at 3 yrs old, he had severe anxiety, little socialization, fear aggression, chronic skin and allergy problems, and was so sensitive to simple flea, tick and heart worm treatments, he would have diarrhea and vomit for days after. He was a quivering mess at other vet's, even VCA and a dermatology specialist made no improvements in his condition over a 2 yr period. It was frightening for Dylan, frustrating and expensive for us! At Arroyo, the staff always greet us with a smile, and this is truly became "the place where everyone knows His name". Here Dylan has blossomed and overcome his worst fears and health concerns. Together, with the patience and perseverance of Dr Mavi and his whole staff, Dylan at 9 yrs old is in the best health and condition of his life. He feels like Arroyo is his second home. Every staff member makes a point of stopping to say "Hi Dylan!" and give him a TicTac (his favorite treat). They make him like the "Prince of Arroyo"! Without reservation or hesitation, I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wanted conscientious and affordable health care for their beloved four-legged fur-baby!
