Took my dog here the other day. They charged me & referred me elsewhere. Didn't even prescribe any medicine for my dog who was in obvious pain. Didn't give me any advice, just sent me on my way. I am VERY unhappy with this "hospital". Are they licensed or is it a scam?

Awesome vet! They care about your animal. It's difficult to find a veterinarian that genuinely cares about your animal and not your pocketbook.

We had the same vet for 27yrs. We moved to Sanger and shortly after our vet retired. We didnt really think to find a new vet before we had something needing vet attn. Until we were knee deep in a crisis. Our beloved 20yr old Dacshund had let us know it was time for us to let her go and we needed to het her to the vet. Id seen the Sign for academy vet and therefore we took her there Our hearts were breaking and for us it was very hard to go to a stranger with such a personal,d...evastating thing we knew we were going to experience. Let me tell you I picked the RIGHT place !That Dr. And his whole staff made us feel like we actually mattered ,that our baby mattered and they treated us as if we were family which made our visit better than we anticipated. The compassion was exactly what we needed and Iam forever greatful to them. Infact im going in today if possible with another emergency but i have no worries that my baby is going to get the best care. If you had a experience that didnt meet your expectations I urge you to give them another try . Everyone has days that arent the best and something must have been off for you to feel that way because they care and they are very professional from top to bottom See More

Been using this vet for years. Greg is very good at what he dose. He can see you the same day and has most of the modern medical equipment there. Very clean and easy to find. Plenty of parking.

We took our Husky in to be fixed! Every time after he got home his soar was open...after the third time we discovered they were sending him home without a COLLAR! Simple yes, but do we know (not our job) our poor Husky went through three trips to sew it up instead of a major ONE!! VERY VERY UNHAPPY

Nice place and friendly staff. Errr, there was one particular veterinarian who's kinda in the wrong profession. He didn't appear all that caring about my pet and when I asked him a question, he responded with "Don't worry about it!" I believe if a customer has a concern regarding an animal's health, the vet should make an effort to answer the question. I'd given 5 stars, but the vet's unprofessionalism was a point off in my book. As for the quality of service rendered, "Don't worry about it!"

I had to pick one star because otherwise It would not let me write a review. My little dog was attacked by a pit bull yesterday and I rushed her over to the vet at Academy vet bleeding and bitten badl...
I had to pick one star because otherwise It would not let me write a review. My little dog was attacked by a pit bull yesterday and I rushed her over to the vet at Academy vet bleeding and bitten badly. They took her inside and within ten minutes brought her back out without even checking her out or treating her in the least and said they didn't have time to deal with her because they were closing at 5. So I then had to drive her still bleeding an in pain into Fresno to another vet where she had to have emergency surgery and was kept overnight. I can not believe that a vet who is supposed to have compassion for animals would treat my dog and me this way!!! I will tell everyone I know to never go to this place and believe me I know a lot of animal owners and they know a lot as well. This place is a disgrace to the veterinary profession!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!!!

I just came from having my dog put to sleep. The doctor and his assistant were extremely compassionate, making a difficult situation manageable. My dog didn't feel any pain, and it was over quickly....

I have been going to Dr Saike's for more than 17 years now, with all my pets and he has handled them with care and always ready to answer any question I had. I have never had any problems and trust Dr Saiki for all my pet's needs. I got a new puppy last year from the SPCA and I took him directly to Dr Saiki for his shots and care. I am very happy with him and will continue to go to him. He cares about your pet and it shows.

We have been taking our dogs to dr Saiki for years he's a great vet that cares about your animals his staff is great they always remember your animals! We have a dog that is diabetic when my wife calls in to get test strips for her they always say this is for Candy (that's our dog) without us even telling them who we are!

He explains things in terms that are easy to understand, and he is patient when my dogs (okay, one of them) acts up. His staff is also very friendly and pleasant, and has helped put me at ease when I'm not sure what's happening with my faithful friends. You'll have a great experience!

If I had only looked deeply into Nala's Shinning eyes, she would be here by my side with her loving family. Nala was a fine and healthy, little Yorkie, full of mischief and not at all sickly in any way. An autopsy showed no reason that this dog should have expired other than an overdose.
If I only looked deep into her eyes....(Please Mommy Don't Leave Me With Saiki!)

I find the staff at Academy Vet always friendly and helpful, and they always remember my pets and the last time they've seen them, how much they've grown, etc. They make me feel like they really know and care about my animals almost as much as I do :)

Dr Saiki is always cool but the ladies at the front aren't always the nicest. But they are reasonably priced and always honest, which is important!

Nice place and friendly staff. Errr, there was one particular veterinarian who's kinda in the wrong profession. He didn't appear all that caring about my pet and when I asked him a question, he responded with "Don't worry about it!" I believe if a customer has a concern regarding an animal's health, the vet should make an effort to answer the question. I had to pick one star because otherwise It would not let me write a review. My little dog was attacked by a pit bull yesterday and I rushed her over to the vet at Academy vet bleeding and bitten badly. They took her inside and within ten minutes brought her back out without even checking her out or treating her in the least and said they didn't have time to deal with her because they were closing at 5. So I then had to drive her still bleeding an in pain into Fresno to another vet where she had to have emergency surgery and was kept overnight. I have been going to Dr Saike's for more than 17 years now, with all my pets and he has handled them with care and always ready to answer any question I had. I have never had any problems and trust Dr Saiki for all my pet's needs. I got a new puppy last year from the SPCA and I took him directly to Dr Saiki for his shots and care.
