I was the biggest fan, I recommended so many friends and now I’m not. My dog had to have emergency surgery when the Dr. was off and they would not fax over my dogs records until he came back the next day. I was previously told by Dr Weber that my dog had a clotting problem and they couldn’t find that in the records. I had to pay sooo much money to get tests done that were already done by Dr Weber. I paid $387.00 for one test that they could have sent the records over and they wouldn’t. Many many more, but this is the one test that could determine my dogs life during surgery.

Where else can you find a vet who 1) Gets nose to nose with your pet, 2) Is an unbelievably good surgeon - ran an emergency clinic for years, 3) Has seen everything, 4) Keeps up with developments in veterinary care and is open to new ideas, 5) Takes great care to make sure you understand exactly what is going on with your pet, 6) Has an infectious, positive attitude that helps so much when you are concerned about your loved one, 7) Has a staff that treats you like family, 8) Doesn't overcharge? He has performed at least three life-saving procedures on my two elderly dogs and is truly in a class by himself. I do some dog and cat rescue work (thus the name), and he has helped greatly with that also. Not many vets are that compassionate. I moved to Riverside but still go to Metro for anything that is not routine.

Wow where to start. Lab 73 pds 11 months old. I have been to 3 vets with my pup who has anal gland problems. 1 vet Kicked my pup in the sack, causing my pup to fear the vet. next vet called him aggressive. and charged me $90 each month to clean his glads with no reason or cure to fix it. Another wouldn't even see him because he barked and growled at her.. After calling so many vets I went to Dr. Weber $12 for a clean out I can handle. But I was worried how good they were for so cheap. Man it's a huge stress off me knowing these guys are GREAT!!
My pup had been many times to see the staff but just saw Dr. last month. He was so sweet and my dog was barking so he just talked over him and ignored my pup. Soon the pup calmed down. Something a real dog person would know. He was not scared of my pup at all and the staff has no fear of him. If your scared of a large dog you can't be a good vet.
Not only did Dr. Weber help me figure things out he gave me advice on how to help my pup. And walking in without a appt Dr. Weber still took the time to give me more advice right at the desk. Never tried to sell me anything. Other vets wanted Surgery on the glands. All this time I thought my dog was pure mean. Turns out most people can't handle
big scary dogs. I will be staying with this office. I love the staff and the vet.

If you want the BEST care for your animal you must go here. David and Lindsey are the most caring people we have ever met.
Our dog, Goose, broke his leg. We went to an ER vet the night of the break. That vet was so cold to us and wanted to slap us with a crazy, expensive vet bill. We had them splint Goose and we took him home.
The next day some family friends told us about Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital. We were able to make an appointment that day. As soon as we got there, they made us feel like we were family including Goose. From start to finish, they were there for us. They never seem annoyed with our millions of questions and treated us as if we were guests in their own home.
Goose is now happy and healthy and I'm 100% confident we wouldn't be where we are without their care.

I would never take my pets anywhere else. David has been my veterinarian for years, and I've always had a great experience with both him and his wife Lindsay. I completely trust them with my baby. My dog fractured his leg and they were there for us for the whole month and a half long journey to work with us and help us care for Goose (our German Shepard mix).

This Clinic is the best. David Weber, the Vet, he is just AMAZING. He treats our Pets as they were his!! We have 3 Pets that we love so very mch. 1 week n half ago;we brought CAPPUCCINO (lab)at nite to an EMERGENCY HOSPITAL . The next morning we brought him to David !! He had such a hard time to breath! It was pretty scary. He is 11 years of age!! We got him bck at the end of the same week. Cappuccino was so happy to see us getting him bck. Before coming out wth us (out side), CAPPUCINO turned around n pushed every door in the clinic!! Untill he found David !! ....it does mean a lot. We had a very good vet before but this one IS THE ONE!! We LOV U DAVID. You are such a Blessing in our life! There is no one like you!! So caring!! I recommand this VET no matter where you live... My Austy Boy is my baby. He's 15 and just started having seizures. When I would take my boy to get nails trimmed at a place close to my house he would be a nervous reck but when he came here we was greeted with LOVE from every single person who works here. The care and attention he received here was BEYOND any doctor experience I've ever encountered! Even with people doctors. They LOVE every animal that walks through the door. The animals feel it too! Dr webber saved my ShitzuPoodle when she had been sick for 3 days (Vomiting and diarrhea) because of the Purina chicken jerky packaged in China with God know what chemicals. She was really ill when I took her in and Dr Webber went on his knees and laid down with her to Check on her. He saved my dog I owe him my happiness to him.
Procedures: He gave my dog antibiotics, a fecal test to see which parasite we were dealing with, a steroid injection and 8 cans of food with a small powder matter (powder was in a small sealed pouch) and within two days my baby was back to normal.

Wow where to start. Lab 73 pds 11 months old. I have been to 3 vets with my pup who has anal gland problems. 1 vet Kicked my pup in the sack, causing my pup to fear the vet. next vet called him aggressive. and charged me $90 each month to clean his glads with no reason or cure to fix it. Another wouldn't even see him because he barked and growled at her.. After calling so many vets I went to Dr. Weber $12 for a clean out I can handle. But I was worried how good they were for so cheap. Man it's a huge stress off me knowing these guys are GREAT!!
My pup had been many times to see the staff but just saw Dr. last month. He was so sweet and my dog was barking so he just talked over him and ignored my pup. Soon the pup calmed down. Something a real dog person would know. He was not scared of my pup at all and the staff has no fear of him. If your scared of a large dog you can't be a good vet.
Not only did Dr. Weber help me figure things out he gave me advice on how to help my pup. And walking in without a appt Dr. Weber still took the time to give me more advice right at the desk. Never tried to sell me anything. Other vets wanted Surgery on the glands. All this time I thought my dog was pure mean. Turns out most people can't handle
big scary dogs. I will be staying with this office. I love the staff and the vet.

One of my furbabies had to have emergency surgery for a urinary blockage today and I can't rave enough about the level of exceptional care that Dr. Weber took with my furbaby but also with reassuring a blubbering mess (me) that my Cali Bear was in the very best of hands. He was patient, kind, understanding, and thorough. The kind of person YOU would want caring for your fur-family! If you want the BEST care for your animal you must go here. David and Lindsey are the most caring people we have ever met.
Our dog, Goose, broke his leg. We went to an ER vet the night of the break. That vet was so cold to us and wanted to slap us with a crazy, expensive vet bill. We had them splint Goose and we took him home.
The next day some family friends told us about Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital. We were able to make an appointment that day. As soon as we got there, they made us feel like we were family including Goose. From start to finish, they were there for us. They never seem annoyed with our millions of questions and treated us as if we were guests in their own home.
Goose is now happy and healthy and I'm 100% confident we wouldn't be where we are without their care.

This is the best animal hospital in OC as far as I'm concerned. The two owners Lindsay and David Weber are both such kind and friendly people that truly love animals. I would never take my pets anywhere else. David has been my veterinarian for years, and I've always had a great experience with both him and his wife Lindsay. I completely trust them with my baby. Great owners and great staff!

My dog fractured his leg and they were there for us for the whole month and a half long journey to work with us and help us care for Goose (our German Shepard mix).

This Clinic is the best. David Weber, the Vet, he is just AMAZING. He treats our Pets as they were his!! We have 3 Pets that we love so very mch. 1 week n half ago;we brought CAPPUCCINO (lab)at nite to an EMERGENCY HOSPITAL . The next morning we brought him to David !! He had such a hard time to breath! It was pretty scary. He is 11 years of age!! We got him bck at the end of the same week. Cappuccino was so happy to see us getting him bck. Before coming out wth us (out side), CAPPUCINO turned around n pushed every door in the clinic!! Untill he found David !! ....it does mean a lot. We had a very good vet before but this one IS THE ONE!! We LOV U DAVID. You are such a Blessing in our life! There is no one like you!! So caring!! I recommand this VET no matter where you live... My Austy Boy is my baby. He's 15 and just started having seizures. When I would take my boy to get nails trimmed at a place close to my house he would be a nervous reck but when he came here we was greeted with LOVE from every single person who works here. The care and attention he received here was BEYOND any doctor experience I've ever encountered! Even with people doctors. They LOVE every animal that walks through the door. The animals feel it too! I live in San Clemente and I would recommend anyone I know to take their fur babies here. No matter how far it is from you I PROMISE it's worth the love and care!!! They have a heart of GOLD! Dr webber saved my ShitzuPoodle when she had been sick for 3 days (Vomiting and diarrhea) because of the Purina chicken jerky packaged in China with God know what chemicals. She was really ill when I took her in and Dr Webber went on his knees and laid down with her to Check on her. He saved my dog I owe him my happiness to him.
Procedures: He gave my dog antibiotics, a fecal test to see which parasite we were dealing with, a steroid injection and 8 cans of food with a small powder matter (powder was in a small sealed pouch) and within two days my baby was back to normal.
