Your Pals Pet Hospital is a full service animal hospital. We are available to see your pal for annual exams and vaccines as well as treating for both emergency cases and less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Bonnie Franklin is experienced in diagnosing and treating all types of conditions.
Dr. Franklin inspires confidence and trust from her clients. Dr. Franklin’s appointments may take longer than you are used to, but that is because she is very thorough. She is an excellent diagnostician and it is her belief that wellness examinations will provide early detection of disease. Sensible and reasonable treatments are not only cost effective for her clients, but provide the best care for her patients. This extremely well-equipped hospital along with its excellent staff provides all the tools necessary to give the superior veterinary care that Dr. Franklin is known for.

Hi! They did such a great job with my kitty Byron! He had a bite on his neck and they stitched him up. The Vet even pulled two of his teeth that were fractured at no cost because I just could not afford to pay for more. The staff was super nice and helpful. They called me to check in after I got home to make sure all was OK. Great experience! It was my first time there :)

We want to thank Dr. Franklin and her staff at "Your Pals" Pet Hospital for showing so much compassion and love for our Zoey to the very end. We will never forget your kindness and look forward to seeing you again if another dog comes into our lives.

Daphne and I had an awesome visit to Your Pals Pet Hospital this morning for her annual exam and her Lepto vaccine. She was still a bit wary (more than usual) of people after Wednesday night's drama and trauma, but she met some new friends in spite of herself. The staff was great. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The Vet was friendly, knowledgeable and even taught me a few things that will save me money. We got free treats and even a free dose of flea and tick medicine. All in all, I have to say we found our new spot in our old spot! They're going to be open for emergencies soon as well!

As first time doggy owners we didn't know where to begin after our dog was having some tummy issues. We found this Veterinary clinic through google simply because it was the closest to our home. Well, thank you google search because Dr. Franklin is simply amazing and extremely thorough. As my first time in a vet office and a first time doggy owner, we had an exceptional visit. Dr. Franklin went above and beyond to make sure that our puppy was taken care of. She took the time to make sure that we had everything narrowed down, and after having her in our room for over 1 hour (which I felt really bad for keeping her so long) we were done and she had cleared all bases (what a relief). I am so thankful that we found Dr. Franklin and at such a convenient location ! I will definitely be recommending her to all my pet owner friends !

My little guy is gone now, but I will always remember My Pals Pet Hospital with fondness and deep gratitude. From the people at the front desk to Dr. Franklin herself, the staff displays a genuine sense of caring and responsibility for their customers and, more importantly, for their animal patients. Your Pals Pet Hospital is the BEST and don't listen to people who give 1 star and say," My dog was fine but didn't like unprofessional Vet and then went more than a month past too another Vet found something that could kill their dog. Cancer! I just love Bonnie Franklin she found something that was past by another Vet in Sacramento. My dog could have died from an infected broken up tooth by someone kicking him my little Rudy is a rescue all my dogs are. So bottom line Summerland, is a small town with a Veternarian who really knows her stuff. We all just want to mold Vets and Doctors , people to what we want and there is a 50% communication skill . So please go to Your Pals Pets and tell them Jessica Edwards sent you.

I highly recommend it. They care and they offer great vet services. Here's what I liked... The veterinarian Dr. Franklin really seemed to both care about my pets - I have two big dogs, one young, one geriatric AND she and the entire staff took great care of them. Other thing I appreciated, is Your Pals Pet Hospital was a very clean and light facility - apparently Dr. Franklin is no stranger to Santa Barbara as a SB native but her facility and Animal Hospital is new with the latest technology. Also, I found it convenient, the parking was easy which is a plus with a large dog. The drive was an easy 3 minutes from Montecito, just off the 101 and Summerland exit. I did not feel rushed and the Vet spent good time with us, diagnosed the problem and gave me a couple options for treatment and costs. I genuinely felt they did it for caring about my dog than tryng to run up a bill. My dogs wag their tail when they go in and the staff is pleasant. I have mentioned them to my neighbors and folks at my kids school who also go there. For the first time, I also just had my geriatric dog groomed there after her vet visit - which was convenient. I hope this is helpful.

Hi! They did such a great job with my kitty Byron! He had a bite on his neck and they stitched him up. The Vet even pulled two of his teeth that were fractured at no cost because I just could not afford to pay for more. The staff was super nice and helpful. They called me to check in after I got home to make sure all was OK. Great experience! It was my first time there :)

Daphne and I had an awesome visit to Your Pals Pet Hospital this morning for her annual exam and her Lepto vaccine. She was still a bit wary (more than usual) of people after Wednesday night's drama and trauma, but she met some new friends in spite of herself. The staff was great. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The Vet was friendly, knowledgeable and even taught me a few things that will save me money. We got free treats and even a free dose of flea and tick medicine. As first time doggy owners we didn't know where to begin after our dog was having some tummy issues. We found this Veterinary clinic through google simply because it was the closest to our home. Well, thank you google search because Dr. Franklin is simply amazing and extremely thorough. As my first time in a vet office and a first time doggy owner, we had an exceptional visit. Dr. Franklin went above and beyond to make sure that our puppy was taken care of.
