My puppy woke up unable to walk and the vet that fixed her didn't have any availability for the morning so I ended up taking her here since it is close to home. I'm so thankful I Did! Time has passed now and I have the ability to write this review. Our Zena had been sick for a very long time and when I finally decided that her last day had come due to pain, I called Copper Hill Animal Clinic. They were so very compassionate and kind. They scheduled her for her final appointment and showed us so much kindness. It was such a hard day for our family. They lit a candle in the waiting room with an explanation that there was someone who would not be leaving with their loved one and to please show reverence. I have never seen this before. Every vet I've seen at this facility has been amazing ! Our oldest dog we thought at one point would have to be put down , he couldn't walk he would just drop when he tried to go outside thank God for this Clinic they found the problem , issued medication and he's up and walking sometimes he even runs around a little bit .At 10 years old they have been a godsend for all of our animals always courteous, friendly with a smile and they're so caring.A genuine love for the animals. I have been going to this clinic for over 5 years to back when it was Seco Animal clinic. While I always had a great experience other than a few hiccups here and there, my interaction with the receptionist I spoke to on the phone recently has now made me rethink taking my dog there. I called for an appointment, which is touch considering they are not open past regular working hours, which is exactly what I work, the receptionist was rude from the start stating that even though they are open until 6pm they do not schedule or see an appointments after 4:30pm because the Vet "has to leave exactly at 6 pm daily". Explaining my situation to her she didn't seem to care and her attitude was as if my call was an unconvinced for her. After trying to work around her attitude when my frustration got to a point where it seemed her unsaid tone was that I should go to another vet since I can't accommodate their schedule, I was told to do what I want and was hung up on. This is highly unprofessional and reflects very poorly on the staff who for the most pet are very nice. Maybe you want to rethink the staff you have answering phones or give them some training on how to actually Help customer!Read Less

2 years ago 8/31/2014 I brought in an emaciated dog. Dr Vandersande noted, flease, tics, anemic, very under weight. Blood test showed he was in acute renal failure. She decided to run a test to check for leptospirosis. She was questioned by the new owner of her previous employ. Why? She knew something wasn't right. He wasn't responding to the meds he was given. First test was more or less inconclusive. 2nd test was positive. Had it not been for her testing him, he would have died. I miss you greatly Dr Vandersande! ! But wish you nothing but success! ! We took our IG Memphis in to check on his two front teeth. Dr. Clark did his initial exam. He determined that Memphis needed dental surgery to extract his front two teeth and take x-rays to check the condition of his other teeth. Dr. Vanessa performed his surgery the following day. Memphis ended up needing 16 teeth pulled. 7 days after surgery, Memphis is doing fabulous! He's already eating dry kibble and acting his happy old self. Dr. Clark, Dr. Vanessa, the front staff and vet techs were professional, kind, knowledgable, and treated our baby with love. Their prices were also very reasonable.
