Dr. Ron, Sean and everyone at this clinic are excellent. They will definitely do everything they can to take care of your fur baby and will not try to sell you other services that are not necessary and cost you more. The prices for services are very affordable. They have no problems answering my million of questions and even searched for the best price on the medication that we needed. I was so worried about my 14yr dog going under anesthesia for teeth cleaning but the doctor was very understanding and calmed my nerves. Once I picked up both dogs, they were both alert and happy and the doctor was very thorough with what happened during the procedure (extracting 7 teeth) and what needs to follow... Nice caring staff. I was pleased that Dr Ron took the time to go over our options for Bear and is taking this one step at a time. Unlike some other Vets, he did not try to do things that are not necessary.  I was very heartened to see one lady come in to get her dog food and said she would come back tomorrow to pay. Dr. Ron and everyone at Sierra Vet are the best. We have taken out puppy here for all of his vaccines and they answered any questions we have had with him. Also, we took our other dog there after her cancer diagnosis and everyone at Sierra Vet was amazingly helpful from getting her steroids to making the decision to euthanize her. Dr Rohnny is so amazing and kind and great at what he does. My 5 month old puppy was poisoned by a Sago Palm tree and after my previous vet failed me and my dog, insinuated that i should just put him to sleep, charged an unreasonable amount of money without really helping my dog recover, I contacted Dr Ron. Dr Ron gave it to me straight and told me what we need to do to support my pup and try to get him through this. We've been to a few vets with our Boston and this hits all the marks so I gave it the five stars.The staff was nice and they took care of her with no attitude.  The vet was direct and he offered some suggestions for allergies saying that could be the issue for the reason we brought her in.  He didn't say she had to have the treatments and after we talked he said if I changed my mind I could just give him a call.She had an infection in her ears that had been causing issues so he treated for that and we also got her shots updated.Not overpriced and we got what we needed done.  I would recommend. I brought my puppy in and I truly felt at home. I loved the service and the vets! Everyone is so helpful and inviting. You can ask many questions and they will answer them as best they could. I took my sick kittie in for a check-up and found this very gentle, caring Dr. Ron who recently took over the clinic that recently deceased Dr. Gardner was the practicing Veterinarian of for so many years. Dr. Ron is an excellent replacement for Dr. Gardner. You couldn't find a gentler, caring and concerned Doctor than Dr. Ron. It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Dr. Gardner. Having gone to him for over 30 years, he was the best Vet in the Santa Clarita Valley and he will be greatly missed. Dr. Gardner and his staff have been taking care of our family pets for about 25-30 years including my mom's pets and two of my sisters as well. His staff has been exemplary in their treatment and compassion towards both the pet and the family members. I don't know what we will do when he retires (I'm trying to not think about that happening.......ever). I went in recently with a neighbor and her husband to ""send their dog to heaven"" and I cannot tell you how emphathetic he and Steve were to the three of us. They will never forget the compassion they were shown and the time they were allowed to grieve for their beloved Jessie who had bone cancer. It made my cry. If anyone writes a negative review here I cannot even comprehend that as I've never had anything but love, kindness and compassion from Dr. Warren Gardner and his entire staff! We just brought our little Pom in because she hurt her back, and not only did he make sure we understood the problem, but he also brought out a diagram of the canine spine so we could clearly see what he believed the issue was. I hope nobody has to experience what happened to me a few weeks ago. My cat was very lethargic, limping and obviously not feeling well. I brought him in to see Dr Gardner. The cat was taken out of his carrier quite roughly by the receptionist. He was complaining and obviously in pain. When Dr. Gardner examined him, he let out a yowl and was fighting to get away. Since he is such a mellow cat and has never done this before I was shocked. He obviously was hurting more than I realized. I told Dr. Gardner I had never seen him act like this before. Dr. Gardner's reply was ""Well, you have now"".. I was told the cat could not be examined unless he was sedated which would cost $350 or I could take him to a vet the cat liked better. It was as if I should not have brought in my animal for an examination if he didn't behave. I have never be treated like that before nor have I ever met a vet with that attitude. I was also told Dr Gardner routinely sedates cat sif he has to take their blood. I have had may cats in my lifetime and never run into this. I'm sure there must be more compassionate and professional vets in Santa Clarit. Read Less

Dr. Gardner has been caring for my animals for over 20 years. From kittens to geriatriac dogs he has kept our animals healthy. He has a good rapport with animals and his office staff is wonderful. Our initial impression was very positive. The waiting area is nicely laid out and the assistant who helped us was great (we hoped he was the vet!!!) Unfortunately, Dr. Gardner was rude, pushy and generally disrespectful. He seemed offended that we had brought a list of questions with us, and rather than discuss our questions he grabbed the list from me and went down it like it was a checklist. When we asked to look at the rest of the facilities we were told we couldn't because the insurance didn't cover it, and when we asked if we could stay with our cats if they needed to be brought in for a simple procedure his response was ""only if I like you."". Dr. Gardner and his staff are wonderful; they clearly love animals and it shows. The location is a bit off the beaten path which is a plus. Appointments start on time, the animals are treated well, and the prices are VERY reasonable. Dr. Gardner's staff was very compassionate when one of our cats was killed and has taken care of our two current cats since they were kittens. I've recommended Dr. Gardner to many friends.
