I brought my cat here and had bloodwork done because he is extremely sick. I waited for the vet to call me and received no call. I called in and the vet was out for the day so the receptionist said she would read me the notes. She said , and I quote, "It shows he is low in something, I can't pronounce it and I don't know what it means." I understand that you are not a vet but when someone is calling in to get results for their cat very sick cat you should do the best you can to get information for them. It felt like she did not care about my cat at all. I asked her to leave a note to have the doctor call me and went yet another day without hearing anything. I called back in and she, again, wasn't in the office. I gave up on the almost $400 I spent that day and took him to another vet. We have been going to Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic for over 12 years. Perfect place to take my precious pets to. Dr. Seeley and the other doctors there are fantastic.....Great care and understanding of our pets needs and treatments. Our dog, Dakota was treated for cancer at Sweetwater when she was five and given 3 to 5 years......It's been 7 years and Dakota is still in remission. The staff as well are extremely friendly and give lots of attention to us and our pets. Thank you Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic!!! Another great visit to Sweetwater..... This place is the best. Dr. Conn saw my Yorkie even though I was a walk in. Normally they only take patients by appt. She is totally professional and explained everything to me and the possible ways to treat my dog depending on the severity of her condition. The staff is exceptional and the Doctors are awesome... great sense of humor, yet extremely sensitive and caring at the appropriate times. Dr Mark Williams became our horses vet when he came out in the dark in the evening after I'd had my Destined for a little more than a month. Destined had had a discussion with the feed door in the barn wall which resulted in a cut on his hind leg which required stitches. This was 19 years ago now. A year or so later Dr Mark also became our dog & cat vet after my small pet veterinarian almost killed one of our cats. Now my primary veterinarian is always Dr. Mark Williams. I can't rave enough about Dr Mark's dedication to our pets. He knows them well by name and he has my full trust, and believe me, that's not easily given when it comes to our pets. I'm not easily pleased when it comes to our pets. I also use Dr. Conn at the office & home if I can't get Dr. Mark. But my first choice is always Dr. Mark, as I call him. He's wonderful assistant in the field is Amanda who's also great. How do our pets like their vet..... Well lets put it like this - - Dr. Mark & Amanda show up at the house & they're immediately bombarded by dogs & horses. Neither dogs nor horses will leave them alone. They're very popular, even though horse cookies are a great incentive. Hugs & scratches work very well on both horses & dogs as well. As for the facilities in Agua Dulce they're great. All personnel dedicated to the best of our pets. I mostly see Dr. Mark at our house with the horses at home and the mobile "facilities" are also state of the art. So, Dr. Mark's number 1 in our book & when I tell him so, Dr. Mark always humbly answers..... "I try" and in my book he succeeds.Read Less

My experiences overall with Sweetwater have been just fine in the last 3 years. I attribute my satisfaction specifically to Dr. Grisham (who has a wonderful relationship with me and all of my dogs), and Dr. Conn and Amanda (who are both so excellent with my horse). Dr. Mark has done my horses teeth once and I have no complaints but do believe we need more of a relationship since I am a regular customer for 3 years now. I would like to know I could call Dr. Mark in an emergency and he would know me and my horse by name. The vet assistant staff is very good and personable. The one area lacking is at the front desk sometimes. There is not always a warm greeting or reception or interaction at the front desk. The greeter always seems rushed and inconvenienced. That is a bit of a downer and reflects a bit negatively on the practice. I'm very influenced by "first name" professional relationships. Overall, doing a good job for my animals. Read Less

My 5-yr-old 20-lb. dog has been seen by several of the doctors, who are knowledgeable, kind, and caring, supported by like-minded staff!
