General Info
Ocean Animal Clinic is a full service veterinary hospital. We provide medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs, cats, and a wide range of exotic pets.
Our facility is well equipped with a modern surgical suite. Our anesthetist monitors each patient's heart rate, ECG, respiratory rate, blood pressure, carbon dioxide output, body temperature, and oxygen saturation to provide utmost safety at all times. A board certified surgeon is available to provide a specialists care within our facility.
Our radiology department is equipped with a new top of the line radiology unit. All of our radiographs are reviewed by a board certified radiologist. The radiologist is available to provide diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound guided biopsy.
Cat and exotic pet boarding is available in our clean and quiet kennel. Only a limited number of pets are boarded at one time, allowing us to provide gentle and loving care for each animal

My Little Tailwagger Opie, has his Favorite Veterinarian again and is so Happy, Dr. George Hall is at Ocean Animal Clinic now!! I was so Lucky and Pleased to find him again! So unfortunately I was told that he had retired but not true at all. So if you are looking or wanting to find a Super Caring and Knowledgeable Veterinarian, Dr. Hall is the One, he is a Specialist in Dental Care in Cleaning, Treatment of Soft Tissue Damage and an overall Superb Veterinarian in his field. He is someone that you can trust to give the best treatment and care to your little four legged family member!! Dr. Hall has cared for our kitties for years; and while it is important for we humans to trust our vet, it is equally important that our pets be comfortable with their doctor. Recently switched my cats to Ocean Animal Clinic & have been very pleased. In my experience, they can be a bit slow/behind appointment times, but they are incredibly thorough and take time to fully listen and explain everything. They have a lot of diagnostic imaging tools in-house which is helpful for more acute problems.

Amazing service! Staff is so kind and knowledgeable and Dr. Grudin is amazing. I have been brining my animals there for about 10 years. I recently had to put one down and they actually came to my house, which was a huge gift. They handled it with sensitivity and grace and even arranged for the cremation. I received a lovely engraved box with my cat's ashes that I now hold very dear. I wouldn't even ever think about going anywhere else.

Dr Grudin and staff are great. The assistants were friendly and efficient, and he was extremely gentle with our senior cat. We had to discuss a likely negative prognosis, and - with my eight-year- old right next to me, Dr Grudin was careful of how he phased things so that he and I were clear, but nothing was said that might upset my kidlet. He was thorough with going over the options for our girl, and I appreciate his kindness and experience.

Absolutely wonderful. The entire staff is attentive and compassionate, and Dr. Grudin is incredibly well educated, experienced, and patient. Our cat was suffering from non-stop itching and biting for 6 months; we were at our wits end with the dozens of methods her old vet had us try and with no improvement whatsoever. When we took her to Ocean Animal Clinic we were able to determine the cause and she became 100% completely healed within just a few weeks. She now has more energy than she's ever had and is so playful and happy. We are very grateful and highly recommend these services to anyone.

They got my dog right in & on antibiotics so I could leave knowing he was covered & I could rest easy. Everyone was so nice & caring towards me & my dog. Definitely my new vet now!! I'll take my cat here too!!

Hands down the best vet I have ever been to. There are seperate entrances for cats and dogs. Although the office is an older building, it is always extremely clean and well cared for. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other vets I have checked out. I never feel like I am getting the run around or being oversold on anything since Dr. Jeff is very experienced, knowledgeable, and pragmatic. He is also very patient as I have a cat that is very fussy. He spends time giving me advice on all my issues even on behavioral or non health related cat concerns. It is always easy booking an appointment, and front staff is extremely helpful even if I need to do mutiple reschedules. We have two cats, and although we moved I still drive from Los Gatos to see Dr. Jeff!

I heard they do student discounts, but maybe you have to ask about it because I'm a student yet I wasn't offered a discount however I've read here on Yelp that another student did get a discount. I did get a certificate for this place by using Yelp. You purchase a certain amount on Yelp and then you get a certain amount back free to use towards your services here. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy and they also price match certain medications with proof of the cost of the item from 1800petmeds. I would bring my cat back here if I need to.

In my experience, they can be a bit slow/behind appointment times, but they are incredibly thorough and take time to fully listen and explain everything. They have a lot of diagnostic imaging tools in-house which is helpful for more acute problems.

Amazing service! Staff is so kind and knowledgeable and Dr. Grudin is amazing. I have been brining my animals there for about 10 years. I recently had to put one down and they actually came to my house, which was a huge gift. They handled it with sensitivity and grace and even arranged for the cremation. I received a lovely engraved box with my cat's ashes that I now hold very dear. I wouldn't even ever think about going anywhere else.

Dr Grudin and staff are great. The assistants were friendly and efficient, and he was extremely gentle with our senior cat. We had to discuss a likely negative prognosis, and - with my eight-year- old right next to me, Dr Grudin was careful of how he phased things so that he and I were clear, but nothing was said that might upset my kidlet. Our cat was suffering from non-stop itching and biting for 6 months; we were at our wits end with the dozens of methods her old vet had us try and with no improvement whatsoever. Hands down the best vet I have ever been to. There are seperate entrances for cats and dogs. Although the office is an older building, it is always extremely clean and well cared for. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other vets I have checked out. I never feel like I am getting the run around or being oversold on anything since Dr. Jeff is very experienced, knowledgeable, and pragmatic.
