My mom brought her dog here for only a short time before she moved from the area and the thing she misses the most was Heritage! The front desk staff is wonderful, helpful, they follow up and really treated my mom like family. The vets too great care of my mom's dog. I don't live in the area, so I really appreciated that there was a wonderful place to ensure my mom's dog was healthy and being taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend bringing your animals here! I want to give a personal thank you to Dr. Fisher and Miranda, the highly skilled rvt, for helping my beloved cat Joey Ramone in a crisis after hours. Dr. Fisher showed so much concern and care for us both and helped to try and figure out his grave prognosis. He did not make it through the treatments sadly, but Dr. Fisher told me I did everything I could to help him. She is the very definition of a loving, passionate Vet that you try so hard to find. Solid local Vet with a very good staff. I have been a few times with friends, but each time the staff were professional and full of empathy. The "vibe" is very nice, calm and comfortable for folks as well as fur babies. My most recent trip a couple of months ago was to put a dear friends dog down. Poe was her mother's who had passed about a year before so this was a rough one and these folks did great. I have experienced such events too many times, but that makes me a good patient and comforter. I would recommend them to anyone. Read Less

I've been taking my furry family members to this clinic for a long time and really liked Dr. Paul. BUT, Dr. Fisher, the new vet, is fantastic! She's very practical, funny, caring and her staff is respectful and relaxed. The hospital/clinic has undergone a "facelift" and both the inside and outside shine. Dr. Fisher is the best!!! My dog ended up having 3 types of cancer and we had to bring her in for a surgery, and with one of the cancers she had they told us if they opened her up and it was to a certain stage they would usually just put them down there. Luckily that was not the case and all 3 were removed. She ended up having another form of cancer a few years later not related to the first round and had surgery a second time. Needless to say Heritage and specifically DR. Fisher saved my dog's life. I recommend this place to everyone!!! They also accept Care Credit so it makes it a little easier to be able to finance instead of paying right away. Read Less

Heritage is probably the friendliest animal hospital I've been to. Dr. Fisher is very funny, knowledgeable, and overall a trustworthy vet. I never feel pressured to buy anything or to agree on a costly unneeded procedure; unlike other vets I've been to before. I appreciate the vet techs who are always trying to make our visits less stressful for my boy by offering lots of treats and cuddles. He absolutely loves all the affection he gets from them! We even got a free Kong for purchasing our heart worm meds here! I started going to Heritage a few years ago when I wanted to get away from chain or corporate vets. I love this location it's more like a home than a scary vet office. The whole staff is very friendly and they all seem to remember my dogs when we go in there. recently my chi baby LG got a mast cell tumor. This news was horrifying to me. LG means the world to me. So we planned surgery to remove the tumor ASAP. As scary as it was to drop off the LG the day of surgery I believed he was in good hands. When I picked him up at the end of the day after his surgery I didn't know what to expect and was pretty scared. I was happy to see LG was happy and alert like nothing had happened. I went from being concerned that he would be in pain and lethargic to worry about how I was going to keep him calm and in bed so he would not rip a stitch. Surgery went great! LG is free and clear of cancer! He acts as if nothing had ever happened to him. I couldn't be happier with Heritage as a veterinary hospital. Read Less

They have been with me through the life and death of two cats, and I'm still with them for my two cats now. I must say I really miss Dr. P since his retirement, and Dudley (their cat) since his death a few months ago. We have taken our dogs and cats to Heritage for about 15 years. The Vets are kind, knowledgeable and patient. The staff is friendly, attentive and love the animals. We got sympathy cards when our pets passed away. If they are seen at an after hours ER, the staff follows up the next day with a call to check how the pet is doing. I absolutely love this place. They have always been so friendly with Bella and so nice to Bella and most of the time Bella doesn't get that kind of attention because she's a pitbull and believe it or not people don't like pit bulls. There was an issue today where I thought I was coming in for an $18 nail trim and got an estimate for $200. When I finally spoke up and asked about it they said they just started a new computer system and my appointment online must have been sent to them incorrectly. The owner Dr. Fisher was absolutely amazing and let me make a payment plan even though the anesthetics were arty inside Bella and she was already asleep, they did the cutbacks under anesthetics and I only had to pay for the nail trim which was the only costs I was expecting. We have been using Heritage Vet for nearly 17 years and have never had a problem or concern with their service: always friendly, service is never rushed, informative consultations covering all aspects of our pets' health, a bias for preventative care taking into consideration the specificities of diet, immunizations, breeds' specific health vulnerabilities,etc and outstanding and compassionate end-of-life care. They keep the offices and examining rooms very clean and all billing and record keeping functions are thorough and complete. I LOVE Heritage! I have been taking my cat here for about 3 years, and Dr. Fisher and all of the wonderful ladies are the best! They take amazing care of Jack, and are the nicest people ever. Dr. Fisher really listens to my concerns and does honest work and treats Jack like he was her own. They always do a special order for Jack's food, and always ask how he's doing when I go to pick it up. I never feel rushed there, and it's really easy to get an appointment. When Jack gets tests done, they always call the next day with the results, so you're not left hanging, and they explain everything in great detail. Two years ago was my first visit & it was the most traumatic.My dog Elvis & I had a great 15 years together. We were fairly new to the area & had not yet established a regular vet. By recommendation from a friend I took him here to bid farewell. The care & compassion from the staff was like they'd known us his entire life.
