Dr. Susan Boynton at Laguna Vet was recommended to us by enthusiastic friends, and when I took our Kitty there for a checkup as a new patient, I could see why. Staff is friendly and caring, and Dr. Boynton is gentle, thorough, and has a great manner with our skittish cat. She took the time to ask questions and answered all of mine; also did not try to push a lot of unnecessary products or procedures for our cat, who is very sensitive and nervous, and spends all her time indoors. The best vets office I have ever been too. I started taking the family bunnies in waaaaay back and gradually began taking all of the animals here. They are kind and friendly people. Dr. B is the absolute best and has such a gentle manner with the animals. She listens to your concerns as the guardians and actual hears your concerns and doesn't just dismiss them. I will continue to bring my animals and feel confident recommending them to anyone who asks. (In fact one of the women I referred talked to me later and thanked me because she too loved Dr B!) Dr. Sue and her staff are amazing! They are caring, knowledgeable, professional, kind, and truly love the animals they care for. They have taken care of my dogs and cats over the years and they have always been wonderful. My two dogs (my beloved boxer boy Cody died earlier this year) were always really excited and happy to go to the vet's! Both of them. But, my Vizsla, Remy, is happier to go there than seems possible. The only Vet I use is Laguna Vet. Dr. Boynton, Jim the Vet Tech, Ellen and the office staff are professional and give your pet the best care. I have been taking my cats there since 1990. These people are genuine! The atmosphere is so pleasant and warm I enjoy knowing that my cat is in great hands. After moving to Marin County and seeing a vet there, I literally walked out of the exam room and didn't have a problem telling them I wouldn't be back. The coldness not only to my 5 year child who was so concerned for her "brother" cat but I couldn't understand the Vet "Dr." who wanted to charge me for things he hadn't even examined my pet for yet. As I was walking out cat and child in tow I called Laguna immediately and scheduled to spend the entire day commuting north just for my cat on my birthday. BEST gift I gave myself and my boy was knowing he was in great hands of all the staff here. They called me to tell me that when he awoke from his procedure how well he did and is doing! My huge Maine Coon boy is back to his spunky, affectionate, loving self with no animosity of the day long trip there! I WILL travel as far as it takes to keep him coming back here each year. Really friendly staff and you can usually get an appointment the same day or the next (depending on the severity of the issue). My pit pull loves this place, and is so excited to get so much personal attention! Prices are reasonable and they don't try to get you to pay for medicine or surgery your animal doesn't need.
