First visit with one cat. I appreciated Dr Crippens thoughtful, straightforward and yet thorough approach. Coordinating care from another practice, she skillfully assessed and gave new insight on our kitty's records. She instilled trust both in quality of care and protection from price gouging. Although the building could use a remodel we were shown great welcome and service. We will be back.

Dr. Crippen is an excellent vet! She obviously loves dogs and was so kind to our two. She spent a lot of time with us on our first visit and listened very carefully to all I had to share about their health history. In addition, she gave me practical tips for helping our Shit-Tzu lose a few pounds and to reduce his barking.After the visit, she went out of her way to call us and share with us the details of lab tests and other recommendations she had for our duo.Thank you!

I have been very impressed by Lakeside's excellent care and business practices. I recently took my older dog in for detail care and I was first briefed with a comprehensive worksheet explaining the various medical procedures and applicable costs. In other offices, it's often a WISIWYG - What You See Is What You Get - with a surprising bill that will catch you flat footed. And while my poor guy need lots of extractions, the vet and his staff were very accommodating and friendly, doing everything possible to make my dog (and me) comfortable and supportive with helpful information. I compliment the entire Lakeside staff for creating a friendly, pet loving atmosphere without coming across as high-powered professionals only interested in maximizing their profits.

Dr Crippen is most excellent in diagnose & care of my chihuahua Tinker bell. She saw her for serious back pain & gave her relief through meds. What I appreciate about Dr. Crippen is she is so knowledgeable and experienced she can lay out for me all of my options immediately and progressively and I can make my own choice on how to help my pet. On a limited pet budget I was insecure about the exam fees. It always seems like it costs $100 whenever I go there. But my animals are well taken care of and I get to choose how to deal with my pets illness based on what I can afford at the time. At Lakeside I get a much better value for my pet dollar then going to one of the "affordable" care offices.

Excellent Doctor and excellent staff. Several years ago our elderly cat was struck by a car. Lakeside said bring him in immediuately. We had called other vets and they were either out to lunch or unavailable. Our latest cat recently underwent cancer treatment for his nose and is doing very well. I definitely recommend Dr. Crippen.

I love Dr. Crippen. I've been taking my cats to her for about 7 years, and I think she's one of the best vets I've ever had. She's caring and very comprehensive, finding things that other vets have missed. Maybe it's because I've been going to her for so long, but I think her bedside manner is the best. She treats my cats with an appreciation of how much each means to me, not as interchangeable objects. I also have to give a shout-out to her office staff - to name just two, Linda's a sweetheart, and Jenny's my catsitter. Five stars.

Was not impressed with the bedside manner of Dr. Crippen. Not only did she not even introduce herself to me or shake my hand when she walked in the room (and it was my first time there), but I didn't really feel she listened to my concerns regarding my animal. I was a bit thrown off by the quick visit and the lack of advice/care and left there feeling like I didn't get much help for my pet at all. All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience but I don't think I'll be bringing my cat back to Lakeside Pet Hospital anytime soon.

We have been clients of Lakeside Pet Hospital in Santa Rosa for over 12 years. Dr. Crippen has been incredible. She took care of our cat Lucy until Lucy died at 18 from old age a couple years ago. Dr. Crippen lovingly walked us through the process of putting our cat down with care and dignity. And Dr. Crippen currently takes care of our golden retriever, Annie. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Crippen and her staff. Dr. Crippen really cares about her work and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Every time we have an issue with one of our pets, Dr. Crippen consistently follows up with a phone call later that day to see how things are going. We have even received weekend "off duty" phone calls from Dr. Crippen to see how things are going and if we need help. Dr. Crippen carefully explains diagnosis, medical conditions, and procedures so that we understand what is involved and what choices are available. She is knowledgeable and current on the latest medical and technical information. My son has grown up around Dr. Crippen and her staff and they all care about him too, even though he is not a four legged! Dr. Crippen feels more like an extended part of our family than just our Vet. Whenever I find a stray dog that is clearly lost and un-tagged (which has happened at least 3 times), I take the dog right to Dr. Crippen. She provides any necessary medical attention, identifies if it has a chip or not, notifies the shelters, and takes care of it until the owners are found. How many Veterinarians do that! If you are looking for a doctor for your cat or dog, you will never regret going to Lakeside Pet Hospital!

First visit with one cat. I appreciated Dr Crippens thoughtful, straightforward and yet thorough approach. Coordinating care from another practice, she skillfully assessed and gave new insight on our kitty's records. She instilled trust both in quality of care and protection from price gouging. We have been clients of Lakeside Pet Hospital in Santa Rosa for over 12 years. Dr. Crippen has been incredible. She took care of our cat Lucy until Lucy died at 18 from old age a couple years ago. Dr. Crippen lovingly walked us through the process of putting our cat down with care and dignity. And Dr. Crippen currently takes care of our golden retriever, Annie. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Crippen and her staff. Dr. Crippen really cares about her work and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Every time we have an issue with one of our pets, Dr. Crippen consistently follows up with a phone call later that day to see how things are going. We have even received weekend "off duty" phone calls from Dr. Crippen to see how things are going and if we need help. Dr. Crippen carefully explains diagnosis, medical conditions, and procedures so that we understand what is involved and what choices are available. She is knowledgeable and current on the latest medical and technical information. My son has grown up around Dr. Crippen and her staff and they all care about him too, even though he is not a four legged! Dr. Crippen feels more like an extended part of our family than just our Vet. Whenever I find a stray dog that is clearly lost and un-tagged (which has happened at least 3 times), I take the dog right to Dr. Crippen. She provides any necessary medical attention, identifies if it has a chip or not, notifies the shelters, and takes care of it until the owners are found. How many Veterinarians do that! If you are looking for a doctor for your cat or dog, you will never regret going to Lakeside Pet Hospital!
