i just started going to them. one visit they gave my dog a shot she was sore from for a week. today is the first time i have ever fired a vet for a "bad attitude". regardless of my complaint when i relayed my concern to dr. lisa schweib she responded by lecturing ME and then telling me "she was busy, but did i have anything to say?". well, after i thought about it i decided if she was so busy she was put out having to speak to me, i'd just free up her schedule by taking my dogs home rather than spend the expected grand i'd expected to spend with all 4 dogs there today. i don't expect she'll care much. back to my previous vet who was pricey but in 20 years i never had a problem with "attitude" before. I have been a client of Wikiup Vet for over 25 years. I no longer live in the neighborhood, yet I continue to use them. A few of the staff members have been there over 15 years. They remember your name, and your pets’ names. They are always nice, even with a growing practice, and a busy waiting room. I am always able to get an appt within a day or two. They were able to see my sick cat, last minute after the evacuations, returning from the wildfires. My favorite weekend vet recently left, however the other vets that have treated my pets are all very compassionate, and personable. Their prices are very reasonable. Their vaccinations are priced to compete with the traveling clinics. They make a donation to UC Davis Vet school in the memory of your lost pet. This demonstrates a very thoughtful practice. Was told the neuter for my dog would be $155.  Asked for a detailed invoice the day of to be sent over and never got one. Assumed the $155 was still correct. When my husband picked up he paid around $320. I had originally thought it was $350. When I talked to the vet he argued with me saying "well what is it $350?  $320 ? You keep changing the price" . SERIOUSLY?I don't have the invoice in front of me but- really nice of the vet  to argue with  me already mad they were charged double and then get into it over a 30 or so $ difference. I work 3 jobs to take care of my family and my dogs. It would be nice to be told about a double in price or sent the invoice I had asked for if it was different. Read Less

Everyone who works here is very knowledgeable and friendly. The vet talked to us for a long time about our dog's issuws, she definitely went above and beyond. Also, find every time I leave here, I'm not worried about how much it cost me. Very reasonable prices. I will always take my animals here. Read Less

We have multiple children (aka pets) that they care for here for many years now. Dr. Erich and Dr. Lisa are absolutely amazing at what they do and are fantastic people as well. I would  recommend them over all the Vets we have ever had in the past without a second thought. Read Less

Been going to Wikiup for 10 years now. Was a Great Veterinarian. The staff was so wonderful so I recommended Wikiup to Everyone, Eric who's the Doctor (owner) is also is very nice and caring. Then, they started to expand. There are now 4 Doctors and I don't even know any of the staff. The entire feel for the place has changed and I especially don't like the attitude of this new staff. It's always very crowded and really noisy too. So, sorry to say that I'm switching Vet's. I'm giving them 3 stars now from a constant 5 over my past 10 years of being a faithful client. If I had not been going there before the expansion I'd score Wikiup a 2 and would not have returned after my 1st visit. What a shame, however, I do wish them luck. Read Less

It is an excellent veterinarian service. They are very kind friendly helpful and don't charge you an arm and a leg but they get the job done and most of the time your animal is back up on its feet and in good shape in no time at all. I would recommend Eric Williams to anyone that needed a veterinarian. Read Less

I have had pets all my life and not just dogs and cats; but rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, etc. Since moving to Santa Rosa in 2001, I have been going to Wikiup. They were a referal because they treated guinea pigs. Dr. Williams is fantastic. Hes compassionate, caring, smart and thorough. He explains treatments and provides an opportunity for dialog about your pet. The office staff is friendly, caring and responsive. When we adopted our first dog from the shelter in January 2008, I wanted Dr. Williams to perform the spay so that he could be familiar with our dogs history. Im happy to say that our now three year old dog is in fantastic health. One of the keys to good health care (for you and your pet) is to have continuity with your Dr. Im happy to have discovered Dr. Williams; I wouldnt go anywhere else! Read Less
