When I came in they were super sweet to my cat and took good care of him. He was a little scared and they tried their best to make him feel comfortable. When he got his results in they called to update me and even sent me an email with his results. The staff at Park Animal Hospital are wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. You can request appointments on line and they will respond quickly. They are now open Saturdays and Sundays which is very convenient for people who work Mon-Fri. The fees on the weekends are the same as during the week and the vets are professional and caring. They listen to what you say and ask appropriate questions to learn all they can about the pet they are seeing. The appointments are almost always on time unless there has been an emergency. We have been going to Dr. Hanna at Park Animal Hospital since we moved to Simi Valley 5 years ago. Dr. Hanna was originally referred to me by a groomer and dog breeder. Most veterinarians I have used in the past are polite at best. Dr. Hanna is kind, gentle, and thorough in his exam. What we like most about Dr. Hanna is the fact that he does not over-medicate and spend our money just to make a sale. He tells me when he thinks something is not necessary and prefers that his patients are not ingesting unnecessary drugs that may ultimately be harmful. They've taken great care of my 18-year-old manx, Poco. In 15 months she's been there twice and received stellar care. The medicine they prescribed was easy to mix into her food, they didn't upsell me beyond a couple extra services related to what I was already there for (both of which were easily declined), prices for services rendered were exceptionally reasonable (the first surgery cost for a tooth extraction was lower than the estimate by $150) and service was prompt and quick but thorough. This is probably the only vet I've been to out of ten vets in twenty years (most of them in Simi) who I actually trust, one human being to another. Read Less

I have two Yorkies and was recommended by numerous friends to Park Animal Hospital. I've been going here for two years. Both my dogs were neutered here & I go here for shots. No complications and the staff was very friendly. One of my dogs had something stuck in his throat one day and after waiting 1 1/2 hours(I didn't have an appt), we were lucky it cleared on its own and we left. I give Park Animal Hospital a 4 star only because of the one wait time. I've never had a major health issue with my dogs, but based on my experience would still recommend my friends! Read Less

We were referred to Dr. Hanna, Peter, by our friend. That was 3 years ago when we had our first puppy, Kopi. Our dogs are our family and we trust Dr. Hannah and the entire staff at Park Animal Hospital without question. We are incredibly grateful for the care that has been provided to all of our boys! If I could give less than one star I would. The staff and service at park animal hospital used to be top of the line. But for the last year they have been nothing but the opposite. I don't know what changed, maybe they took on more patients than they can handle. Every time I go in they seem to have a lack of interest in my pets. The last time I used them was for my 1 year old dog that has HD. I could not go because I was at work so my parents took my dog in for me. The following day I had questions so I called to speak with Dr. Hannah. I was told he was with patients and assured he would be calling me back. A week went by with no call. So I called again. Same thing, assured I would be getting a call back. It has now been a month with no return phone call. I called again just now, obviously frustrated with the service and was hung up on twice by Hannah. I called back a third time and spoke with the customer service manager who did not seem to care that his staff lacked manners. He asked me if I cursed at her and I admitted the second time I called I said I was *f-ing pissed and told her if she hung up on me again I was raising hell. Pretty natural reaction after the month of awesome customer service I have received. So here I sit once again waiting for that call I requested a month ago. I've heard Sequoia Animal Hospital is great, maybe try there. Just don't bother with this terrible place.Read Less

We just recently switched to park animal hospital. We just recently moved to Simi Valley less than a year ago and needed a vet quickly for our dog that ended up tearing her ACL. I recommend them to anyone that will listen. They always find a way to squeeze us in last minute. I love park animal staff and we use dr. Hanna and we just love how he will sit on the floor with our scared dog and how long he spends with us. He's not trying to rush us out. When my dog Tinkerbelle became gravely ill a few years ago, the Vet at Park Animal Hospital (Dr. Yoo) diagnosed her as having an Addison crisis and saved her life! The staff all know me and Tinkerbelle by name & they are always extremely helpful and accommodating! They are truly the BEST Vet I have ever taken a pet to. We switched from another veterinary clinic to Park Animal Hospital a couple of years ago because I didn't feel the former vet was taking a proactive approach to my dog's seizures. I wish we found Dr. Hanna years ago! My dog, Scotty, still has seizures but I can see that Dr. Hanna is working so hard to find the best way to diminish them. We went from a ONE star (if that) vet to this wonderful place! Dr.Erickson just left and that's who we mostly dealt with. She was amazing! she was extremely knowledgeable,very friendly, and very forth-coming. We had a very sick kitty and she was completely hones about what to expect. When we took our scared puppy there, she immediately got on the floor to examine him! Just this week we had to put our kitty down and Dr Godderige was fantastic!! She was so compassionate and patient as we worked through our decision. She was helpful, realistic about the situation and so gently with our Zoey. The vet (not just the tech) took the time to listen to my concerns about my cats & actually cared to help me out. Overall I was impressed.
