If you read anything of this review, read this: Yosemite pet hospital goes above and beyond in pet care. They are honest, caring, and will do anything for your pet’s health. I would recommend them over any other facility. They are in your pets’ best interest and treat you like family. They saved our Cat’s life when she had no other options.
Dr. Lissel Madrazo is nothing short of amazing and is a person who really loves her job and cares for animals. We adopted a cat from a shelter who was healthy but shortly after fell ill with a respiratory infection, which unfortunately lead to an eye infection. Throughout the whole process Dr. Lissel was there for every step of the way, providing us with details and options for treatment for our cat. Her treatment options were very affordable, and she answered any questions that we had (plus we never felt rushed or dismissed). She called us for updates on our cat, got us in for same day appointments when our cat was having an allergic reaction, referred us to specialist when it progressed, and offered us many options. Unfortunately, our kitty had to have her eye removed but she is currently in recovery and is doing great. Dr. Lissel gave us may resources on getting the surgery and even offered to do the surgery herself if we were unable to find an affordable solution. In short, Dr. Lissel saved our cats life and let us keep our family member and will continue to help us keep her health. We thank you and most importantly, Raven (our kitty) thanks you. We hope you know what a huge difference you have made in our life and our cats’ life. Here is to many more years of great health with your guidance.

Every time I went it was a minimum of $400.00-$500.00!! I have a very healthy purebred boxer who doesn't need an X-ray of her stomach and doesn't have a heart murmur... she doesn't need a heart wormTest every time she goes in either . My biggest regret was not getting a second opinion on her heart murmur. Thank fully I'm with a new facility that I love... beware they like to gauge you with expensive tests and unnecessary procedures ! Good luck .

My best friend and I have been a client of Yosemite Pet hospital for 8 years. We have always received the best care, preventive counseling and professional concern. My life and love (besides my other kids) was recently diagnosed with a spinal issue that prevented him from knowing where his back feet were. He kept falling over and dragging his back legs. At 11 years old I couldn't allow him to continue as such. Yosemite pet hospital performed a class act of sympathy and empathy while my children and I loved our brother our "Cody" I have a hole in my heart that will never be filled. My only happiness is that my baby was handled carefully and professionally! I will always be in debt to Dr. Langrock and Her Beautifully thoughtful staff! To my Baby boy and reason for living! Dr. Langrock has spent extra time helping us figure out the best ways to handle our 7lb little geriatric case, and also how to gently transition our dog in the later parts of her life. Dr Sheila and her staff are top notch! I brought my kitten, Roksy to her the day after adopting her from the shelter. I had not ever owned a cat before and they were so supportive and thorough with Roksy's care! She was a very sick and skinny kitten, but with Dr Sheila's care, she is now healthy, happy and has even gained a pound and a half in 3 weeks! The follow up calls are on time and the staff is knowledgable and organized. I feel very confident in our new relationship and very relieved to know that my Roksy is in good hands! Thanks to you all!

We've been taking our pups to Yosemite Pet Hospital for just over 10 years. Our first, our beloved Chloe just passed in January & we were beyond devastated. For 9 years, Dr. Sheila took such amazing care of our girl & the staff were always friendly & considerate - you could tell that they cared. It showed. When we were heartbroken & grieving - making the hard choices at the end - we never felt alone. Not only did Chloe have exceptional care, it was now being shown to us when we needed it the most. I cannot put into words how incredible this office is, how lucky we were to have chosen Dr. Langrock as her vet. However, the best way to express it would be to tell you that our Abby is 7 1/2 months old & she loves Dr. Sheila & the entire office as much as Chloe did!

When our little Sare became ill last year we needed to find a vet in Simi. I called around to 3 different vets and they couldn't see Sara that day but 2 of the vets had recommended Yosemite Pet Hospital. I made the appointment and was greeted with with a warm sweet smile. Yosemite has the the warmest, caring, people, I am so happy the other vets couldn't take us. We lost our little Sara May 6th if it hadn't been for the compassion and love that was given to us by Dr. Shelia and her staff we wouldn't have been able to deal with our loss. We have 2 other dogs that are patients of YPH and they get the same excellent, warn, loving great care that we received Sara. Yosemite staff has become family to us. I can't express how grateful I am that I found Yosemite Pet Hospital.

We took our Golden Retriever Chloe there for her entire life. She was always loved and well cared for. The staff and Dr. L. took time to make Chloe comfortable, ask us all kinds of questions about Chloe, and to give Chloe the care she deserved. They were patient with us and answered every question we could pose. When we asked a question that required research, Dr. L. told us she'd look into it and then would call us with the results of her investigation. Chloe loved going to Yosemite. When Chloe became terminally ill, the staff and Dr. L. were so supportive and helpful in assisting us to work through the most difficult times. Chloe received the best care from the entire staff and Dr. L. We were very lucky to have such a tremendous Pet hospital around the corner. The best endorsement I can give is we now have another Golden and we are taking her there as well.update: we take our Golden puppy Abby there. She was spayed. They gave us excellent at home instructions for her follow up care, were very responsive to our inquiries about how she was doing and provided the best care. My wife and I love our puppies- they are a part of our family. Dr. L is as good as it gets. The care she provides the our pets and to us is top notch.

When we received her ashes, we also received a card that every employee signed to give there condolences. A few weeks later we received a letter from university Davis saying that dr Sheila made a donation in our cats name. My husband and I were very touched. We now have 2 kittens that we take to see dr Sheila. I feel this establishment deceives better reviews.

After our vet unexpectedly retired and a horrible experience with the organization that bought the practice, we scrambled to find a new vet for our year old rescue dog and two elderly cats before we needed one. I kept going back to the YPH website because of their philosophy and the fact that they give tours of their facility, which most vets don't do. We arranged for a tour and were so impressed with the facility, the staff and most importantly, Dr. Sheila. 10 years later, the YPH staff is like family. They are caring, calm and professional. Our dogs, for the most part, love going there. Since we live a few blocks away it's convenient, too. I read the negative reviews and take them with a grain of salt. We always know what we're going to pay and the quality of care is second to none. With every procedure they keep us updated on progress (until YPH I NEVER had a vet offer to keep me apprised of surgical procedures via text message!) and there are few surprises. Thank you, YPH for taking such good care of our kids!!

I know when I bring my dogs to Yosemite Pet Hospital that they are getting the best care available. Sheila is amazingly comprehensive and pays attention to every little detail. She takes notes, answers every question I have, explains whats going on very clearly, and never seems rushed to get out the door. I get sticker shock from time to time, but now that I know her, I know that she is just recommending the best possible treatment for my dogs. She offers me the best, and from there I can trim the expense based on what I can afford to pay without judgement from her. She gives me the power and knowledge to make an informed decision. If you want your furry children to be treated with the same level of care that you would want for yourself, this is the place to come.

Bottom line- I'm not quite sure the doctor knows how to assess an animal and give them the critical care they may need. She is concerned about collecting money and going home when the clock reaches that magical hour. Sadly, my dearest pet suffered longer than needed because of her unwillingness to help him and her eagerness to go home. I have personally worked with many veterinarians, and she by far had the WORST attitude and skills needed to save my pet. I would suggest Conejo Valley Vet clinic to all my friends. They are honest and professional.

My two dogs LOVE visiting Dr. Langrock and the amazing staff that work there! They are always welcomed with friendly faces and treats and the staff is so good about remembering their clients and pets names! My older boy had a hurt paw and instead of sending us home with pain meds and calling it a day, the Dr. x-rayed it, sent it out to a board-certified radiologist and even went out of her way to contact a surgeon at a specialty hospital just to be sure the diagnosis was accurate. She even suggested a couple things to help his chronic itchiness and weight problems and now he's more energetic and playful than I've ever seen him. Now that's going the extra mile for your patients! So caring and genuinely concerned for the well being of my babies! Thanks Yosemite Pet Hospital!

If you read anything of this review, read this: Yosemite pet hospital goes above and beyond in pet care. They are honest, caring, and will do anything for your pet’s health. I would recommend them over any other facility. They are in your pets’ best interest and treat you like family. They saved our Cat’s life when she had no other options.
Dr. Lissel Madrazo is nothing short of amazing and is a person who really loves her job and cares for animals. We adopted a cat from a shelter who was healthy but shortly after fell ill with a respiratory infection, which unfortunately lead to an eye infection. Throughout the whole process Dr. Lissel was there for every step of the way, providing us with details and options for treatment for our cat. Her treatment options were very affordable, and she answered any questions that we had (plus we never felt rushed or dismissed). She called us for updates on our cat, got us in for same day appointments when our cat was having an allergic reaction, referred us to specialist when it progressed, and offered us many options. Unfortunately, our kitty had to have her eye removed but she is currently in recovery and is doing great. Dr. Lissel gave us may resources on getting the surgery and even offered to do the surgery herself if we were unable to find an affordable solution. In short, Dr. Lissel saved our cats life and let us keep our family member and will continue to help us keep her health. We thank you and most importantly, Raven (our kitty) thanks you. We hope you know what a huge difference you have made in our life and our cats’ life. Here is to many more years of great health with your guidance.

Every time I went it was a minimum of $400.00-$500.00!! I have a very healthy purebred boxer who doesn't need an X-ray of her stomach and doesn't have a heart murmur... she doesn't need a heart wormTest every time she goes in either . My biggest regret was not getting a second opinion on her heart murmur. Thank fully I'm with a new facility that I love... beware they like to gauge you with expensive tests and unnecessary procedures ! Good luck .

My best friend and I have been a client of Yosemite Pet hospital for 8 years. We have always received the best care, preventive counseling and professional concern. My life and love (besides my other kids) was recently diagnosed with a spinal issue that prevented him from knowing where his back feet were. He kept falling over and dragging his back legs. At 11 years old I couldn't allow him to continue as such. Yosemite pet hospital performed a class act of sympathy and empathy while my children and I loved our brother our "Cody" I have a hole in my heart that will never be filled. My only happiness is that my baby was handled carefully and professionally! I will always be in debt to Dr. Langrock and Her Beautifully thoughtful staff! To my Baby boy and reason for living! I had not ever owned a cat before and they were so supportive and thorough with Roksy's care! She was a very sick and skinny kitten, but with Dr Sheila's care, she is now healthy, happy and has even gained a pound and a half in 3 weeks! We've been taking our pups to Yosemite Pet Hospital for just over 10 years. Our first, our beloved Chloe just passed in January & we were beyond devastated. For 9 years, Dr. Sheila took such amazing care of our girl & the staff were always friendly & considerate - you could tell that they cared. It showed. When we were heartbroken & grieving - making the hard choices at the end - we never felt alone. Not only did Chloe have exceptional care, it was now being shown to us when we needed it the most. I cannot put into words how incredible this office is, how lucky we were to have chosen Dr. Langrock as her vet. However, the best way to express it would be to tell you that our Abby is 7 1/2 months old & she loves Dr. Sheila & the entire office as much as Chloe did!

When our little Sare became ill last year we needed to find a vet in Simi. I called around to 3 different vets and they couldn't see Sara that day but 2 of the vets had recommended Yosemite Pet Hospital. I made the appointment and was greeted with with a warm sweet smile. Yosemite has the the warmest, caring, people, I am so happy the other vets couldn't take us. We lost our little Sara May 6th if it hadn't been for the compassion and love that was given to us by Dr. Shelia and her staff we wouldn't have been able to deal with our loss. We have 2 other dogs that are patients of YPH and they get the same excellent, warn, loving great care that we received Sara. Yosemite staff has become family to us. I can't express how grateful I am that I found Yosemite Pet Hospital.

We took our Golden Retriever Chloe there for her entire life. She was always loved and well cared for. The staff and Dr. L. took time to make Chloe comfortable, ask us all kinds of questions about Chloe, and to give Chloe the care she deserved. They were patient with us and answered every question we could pose. When we asked a question that required research, Dr. L. told us she'd look into it and then would call us with the results of her investigation. Chloe loved going to Yosemite. When Chloe became terminally ill, the staff and Dr. L. were so supportive and helpful in assisting us to work through the most difficult times. Chloe received the best care from the entire staff and Dr. L. We were very lucky to have such a tremendous Pet hospital around the corner. The best endorsement I can give is we now have another Golden and we are taking her there as well.update: we take our Golden puppy Abby there. She was spayed. They gave us excellent at home instructions for her follow up care, were very responsive to our inquiries about how she was doing and provided the best care. My wife and I love our puppies- they are a part of our family. Dr. L is as good as it gets. The care she provides the our pets and to us is top notch.

When we received her ashes, we also received a card that every employee signed to give there condolences. A few weeks later we received a letter from university Davis saying that dr Sheila made a donation in our cats name. My husband and I were very touched. We now have 2 kittens that we take to see dr Sheila. I feel this establishment deceives better reviews.

After our vet unexpectedly retired and a horrible experience with the organization that bought the practice, we scrambled to find a new vet for our year old rescue dog and two elderly cats before we needed one. I kept going back to the YPH website because of their philosophy and the fact that they give tours of their facility, which most vets don't do. We arranged for a tour and were so impressed with the facility, the staff and most importantly, Dr. Sheila. 10 years later, the YPH staff is like family. They are caring, calm and professional. Our dogs, for the most part, love going there. Since we live a few blocks away it's convenient, too. I read the negative reviews and take them with a grain of salt. We always know what we're going to pay and the quality of care is second to none. With every procedure they keep us updated on progress (until YPH I NEVER had a vet offer to keep me apprised of surgical procedures via text message!) and there are few surprises. Thank you, YPH for taking such good care of our kids!!

Dr. Langrock is great with the animals and is very caring. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because their prices seem a little high, but they do provide great care.

I know when I bring my dogs to Yosemite Pet Hospital that they are getting the best care available. Sheila is amazingly comprehensive and pays attention to every little detail. She takes notes, answers every question I have, explains whats going on very clearly, and never seems rushed to get out the door. I get sticker shock from time to time, but now that I know her, I know that she is just recommending the best possible treatment for my dogs. She offers me the best, and from there I can trim the expense based on what I can afford to pay without judgement from her. She gives me the power and knowledge to make an informed decision. If you want your furry children to be treated with the same level of care that you would want for yourself, this is the place to come.

The doctor wanted to do $200 more, but I am low income. Two weeks later my dog is still screaming in pain (no pain medicine?!?) . She's also still bleeding. I phone to arrange to bring her in again, Añd They Want More Money!!!!!! Told me I must not love my dog very much! ALL THEY WANT TO TALK ABOUT IS MONEY! Bottom line- I'm not quite sure the doctor knows how to assess an animal and give them the critical care they may need. She is concerned about collecting money and going home when the clock reaches that magical hour. Sadly, my dearest pet suffered longer than needed because of her unwillingness to help him and her eagerness to go home. I have personally worked with many veterinarians, and she by far had the WORST attitude and skills needed to save my pet. I would suggest Conejo Valley Vet clinic to all my friends. They are honest and professional.

She is so willing to answer questions and to educate you on her findings of your pet's health. Her staff is wonderful and caring and competent! I also appreciate the fact that her hospital is one of the few AAHA accredited hospitals in the area. I would not take my pets elsewhere!

My two dogs LOVE visiting Dr. Langrock and the amazing staff that work there! They are always welcomed with friendly faces and treats and the staff is so good about remembering their clients and pets names! My older boy had a hurt paw and instead of sending us home with pain meds and calling it a day, the Dr. x-rayed it, sent it out to a board-certified radiologist and even went out of her way to contact a surgeon at a specialty hospital just to be sure the diagnosis was accurate. She even suggested a couple things to help his chronic itchiness and weight problems and now he's more energetic and playful than I've ever seen him. Now that's going the extra mile for your patients! So caring and genuinely concerned for the well being of my babies! Thanks Yosemite Pet Hospital!
