I've been using Arroyo Vet for close to two years and am so happy with the level of care my dogs get. The front desk staff is always so helpful and friendly and efficient! I like that we don't always go right to the most extreme way to address an issue, but there is never a time I feel like they (or I ) should be doing more. Arroyo has been very accommodating to us ever since our Vet in Glen Ellen suddenly closed. We were not told of the Glen Ellen veterinary clinic closing, so when we had an emergency with one of our dogs, Arroyo was the only clinic in the Valley who squeezed us into their overbooked schedule. We have taken our dogs in a few times since, and they have always been helpful. It is expensive, but show me a veterinary hospital that isn't. The staff is friendly. The building is great, I like how they have a small room before you get into the main office, as a way to prevent escapee animals. I also like that they offer walk in clinics, and all other sorts of services. Read Less

For over 7 years after moving to Sonoma I have been lucky enough to have the most dedicated, compassionate and professional vet and her efficient, accommodating staff care for my two bichons.  One was euthanized 2 years ago and I'll never forget Dr. Rhonda Stallings gently explaining the options and honestly helping me to make a very tough decision.  Now my other  baby is almost 15 yrs. old and I continue to bring her in, get prompt treatment and have the luxury of a caring doctor who calls me on a Sunday with test results and has all the time in the world to answer questions.  Arroyo has a state of the art, accredited hospital facility and that is a very positive asset in our town when your pet needs a surgical procedure.  Our pets are our "babies" and they deserve the best! It was the Friday of my wedding weekend. I was driving up to Sonoma with my dog when I noticed her eye. It was red, swollen, puffy and she could barely keep it open. I used Yelp to locate a vet and called with my fingers crossed. Even though they didn't have an appointment available, when I explained the situation they went out of their way to accommodate and see her between appointments.
