Always a great friendly staff. Our dogs love Dr. Rosner and the entire staff. While it is a drive from Marin to Sonoma for the dogs it is totally worth it.

i am new to Sonoma and my elderly cat hurt himself somehow. Dr Rosner fit us in for an appointment that very day, quickly figured out the problem, and gave us meds which allowed my kitty to heal up in just a few days. He followed up with me to be sure all was ok... its great to have a vet who cares about his patients!

This is a caring clinic. My GSP has shoulder issues. After many talks Dr. Rosner referred me to an Orthopedic surgeon for a consult. The doctor told me, her condition was poor at best, but we could do...
This is a caring clinic. My GSP has shoulder issues. After many talks Dr. Rosner referred me to an Orthopedic surgeon for a consult. The doctor told me, her condition was poor at best, but we could do the surgery at the cost of 7,000.00 to see if it would help. When I returned to the clinic for a follow up Dr. Rosner suggested a second opinion. He took the time to call the other referral himself. His lead tech suggested cold laser therapy and I did a internet search for a some kind of apparatus to hold her shoulders together and relieve pain. After I found a product to help her. I then showed the product to Dr. Rosner and asked if he would consider the use of this product and do the cold laser to see if this combination would help her since the prognosis was poor. His second referral said we should try that. Dr. Rosner talked to me and we started the treatment. Cold laser is amazing, relief came quickly and her shoulder stabilization vest helps her with her pain on bad days. It has been three years and I don't trust anyone else with her. Thank you.

Our family pet is at nearing the end of his journey here with us and we called them to get information about cremation services.
It is hard enough as it is to deal with letting go of our furry friend that has been with us for almost 13 years now and has a terminal condition with mass growths on his lungs and these folks have the nerve to try to milk people for even more money by insisting we pay for an office visit and an exam on top of the euthenization and cremation services when we already have a diagnosis.
Shame on you and your company for trying to gain more profits at the cost of others suffering.

I was on vacation in Sonoma when my dog took a fall on his skull. He seemed ok, but I called and Dr. Rosner and his staff welcomed me over right away. They were very accommodating, quick,and ran all of the necessary tests. Very friendly and i appreciated their help and reassurance. 5 Star!!

We were visiting from out of town when our kitten Lulu developed yellow nasal discharge and decrease in appetite and energy. I called this clinic and an appointment was made for that afternoon, and staff there called Lulu's regular vet for medical records. As soon as we arrived, we were roomed with Lulu and Dr Rosner promptly evaluated her and figured out the problem. She had a fever and a sinus infection. She was treated with fever reducer and antibiotics, and we were advised to feed her baby food in case her throat was sore. Sure enough, within a few hours Lulu was much better. Her appetite returned and she now loves baby food. Since then, she has been more energetic than ever. I was very happy with her care at this clinic, and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely trust my pets in Dr Rosner's care.

I took my small dog into this clinic because he had lost control of his back legs. After 2 visits, and 2 different vets, I was told he would need emergency back surgery or he could become paralysed at a cost of 7000 to $8000. Not being able to afford that amount of money, I started researching other alternatives and found chiropractic for animals. After locating a doctor who answered her cell phone early on a saturday morning, and speaking with her, she told me I would need authorization from my vet. I called as soon as they opened, and was told by the receptionist that the vet, after looking at x ray, would in no way authorise this, it would make the dog worse, he needed back surgery. that was that! not even a conversation about it. I searched for a new vet. Found one, and got an appointment the following Monday. I took my dog in to see Sue, along with a copy of x ray and records. She looked at everything and came into exam room and examend my dog. A bit confused she asked what was going on. After telling her the whole story, she said there was absolutly nothing on the x ray that showed anything! Let alone a reason for surgery!And yes!, absolutly see a chiropractor for the dog. Which we did, and our dog is doing much, much better! I appreciate persons who are able to look past their own nose, and open their mind to possible alternatives to mainstream medical practices, or any practice, and offer help. The moral to this story is..... always get a second opinion!, and look at all your options. I want to say a heart felt thank you to Sue at Laguna veterinary, and Gannelle at life chiropractic!

If you're looking for a clinic with heart and soul, this is the one--Dr. Rozner and his staff are so genuine and caring. They send email updates when they learn of products (like dog treats) that might actually have ingredients that are health adverse (e.g. produced in heavily polluted places). My neighbor recently had to say goodbye to her cat and Dr. Rozner handled it with such great honesty and care and kindness. To give you an idea of how much this clinic loves animals of all kinds, recently a little Cedar Waxwing bird crashed into our backyard after hitting something, and it had a major laceration. If I had tried to drive it to the nearest Bird Rescue Center it would not have made it or the time delay would have made things much worse. But Sonoma Veterinary Clinic is partnered with the Sonoma Bird Rescue Center and allows people to take injured birds there for treatment. I was able to take it there and Dr. Rozner stitched up the injured bird and fed it blueberries afterwards to provide extra TLC. Wonderful, all around!

What a fabulous doctor with an amazing staff. They have cared for my animals with all the care and concern as if they were their own. After four years of treatment for my aging and very ill Westie, Dr. Rosner met me in the middle of the night to compassionately ease his transistion with the grace he deserved. I have sent numerous Sonomans and their four legged friends to Dr. Rosner's practice, and each and every one of them have thanked me for recommending such a capable and joyful practice. And my new Westie thinks they are all very special, too! How often does your dog run INTO your Vet's Office? They will here!

My neighbor recently had to say goodbye to her cat and Dr. Rozner handled it with such great honesty and care and kindness. To give you an idea of how much this clinic loves animals of all kinds, recently a little Cedar Waxwing bird crashed into our backyard after hitting something, and it had a major laceration. If I had tried to drive it to the nearest Bird Rescue Center it would not have made it or the time delay would have made things much worse. But Sonoma Veterinary Clinic is partnered with the Sonoma Bird Rescue Center and allows people to take injured birds there for treatment. I was able to take it there and Dr. Rozner stitched up the injured bird and fed it blueberries afterwards to provide extra TLC. Wonderful, all around!

What a fabulous doctor with an amazing staff. They have cared for my animals with all the care and concern as if they were their own. After four years of treatment for my aging and very ill Westie, Dr. Rosner met me in the middle of the night to compassionately ease his transistion with the grace he deserved. I have sent numerous Sonomans and their four legged friends to Dr. Rosner's practice, and each and every one of them have thanked me for recommending such a capable and joyful practice. And my new Westie thinks they are all very special, too! How often does your dog run INTO your Vet's Office? They will here!
