We had to euthanize our old pup & we called Dr. Smith. A friend of mine had to do the same recently, and she recommended we call him. I'm so glad we did. First of all, the convenience of being able to do this at home was great. My old guy had a lot of trouble getting in and out of the car. The vet office would make him anxious too. This way we were able to sedate him at home and spend every minute we had left snuggling. Dr. Smith was gracious, calm, soft spoken, and aware of the timing and support I needed. He took the time to get a feel for our family and history with our boy. He said all the right words and made this dreadful experience a pleasant and spiritual one instead.
