I can't say enough good things about Stevenson Ranch Veterinary Center. Dr. Lisa Pope and everyone that works at SRVC are amazingly friendly, caring, informative, and helpful. Both of my dogs (ages 7 and 3) have seen Dr. Pope since their very first puppy appointments and have been treated for various surgeries, illnesses, and general well-being checkups and each and every appointment is a great experience. The vets and the nurses are extremely kind and genuinely love every animal that come through. My only complaint or concern is the price now I'll admit you can't put a price on a life however there are alternative vets around that offer the same level of care but at a more reasonable price.Read Less

I had a terrible experience with another vet office just a few months ago.  So a friend of mine recommended SRVC..specifically Dr. Jennifer Reidel.  The second she came into the room she was on the floor with my dog letting him give her tons of kisses and making him feel as comfortable as possible!  I knew immediately she was going to be the doctor for my fur babies!!  She discussed treatment options and the advantages and disadvantages of each course of treatment, and to help make it easier for me she provided several estimates without me even asking.  She was extremely knowledgeable and most importantly...she genuinely cares for her patients!  The entire office is also very neat and the staff is super sweet and accommodating.  LOVE this place! Very much appreciate the kindness and professionalism of all staff from front desk to techs and vet. Our cat was diagnosed with diabetes and everyone was patient with our questions and concerns. No charge for a "hands on" tutorial on giving her insulin shots. Staff obviously care about animals and have experience in treating them. Highly recommend. Read Less

If I lived in the area I most certainly would use Stevenson Ranch Veterinary Center. They honor their oath to heal because they do not declaw cats! Do the research, declawing is amputation of each p3 bone and leaves kitty walking on the p2 bones, or the 'wrists'. It will be illegal in NY soon then all the other states will follow. The last reason you ever want to go to the vet is because it's time to put your dog to sleep.  We decided not to go to our regular vet because the doctor there didn't seem at all sympathetic while we were going through the treatment and surgery of our sweet Bailey's struggle with cancer.  It felt like we were just another number.  The doctor even made a comment once about how he missed his lunch because the surgery took so long.  So based on positive Yelp reviews, and our initial conversation over the phone with the Stevenson Ranch Veterinary Center, we decided to go there.  I wish we would have discovered this place sooner.  Everyone was absolutely wonderful.  No matter what putting your dog to sleep is not a good experience but I think the staff made it as good as it could possibly be.  From the moment we arrived, everyone was so kind.  Dr. Jennifer Riedel loved and hugged and even sat on the floor with Bailey.  She explained the whole process to us.  She left us in a clean room with a fluffy doggy bed to allow us and Bailey to be comfortable and have some time alone.  She even gave us some treats and a can of Easy Cheese.  Bailey was so happy and excited; we played with her and gave her some treats and tried to remain happy and laugh until the sedative helped her become extremely relaxed and almost asleep.  They left a wireless doorbell and told us whenever we were ready for the Dr. to return and complete the process, to just ring the bell. This was so no one would keep interrupting us during our final moments to see when we were ready.  A small thing right?... but, so thoughtful on their end.  We said a little prayer, then pressed the button on the doorbell.  When Dr. Riedel returned, she slowly gave Bailey the final injection.  Bailey then was completely sedated and then slowly Dr. Riedel gave her more until she peacefully passed on.  She left us to grieve and told us to take as much time as we needed. Two days later we received a sympathy card in the mail along with the most beautifully framed cardstock image of Bailey's paw print.  I wish I could post a picture of it; it was so sweet.  It was hand written and signed by Dr. Riedel herself. We are so incredibly happy to have found this place and although the experience of losing our dog is not a good one, the manner in which everything was handled was perfect.   Thank you so much to all the staff at the Stevenson Ranch Veterinary Center and a special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Riedel.  We love this place!! Such a wonderful experience for the first time, staff was friendly and Dr. Pope was so warming and patient to answers all the questions I had not to mention Jill was an awesome Lady who as well explained more than i hoped for in a honest loving manner!! Great! The vet I have taken my dogs to for 18 years is retiring... I tried 3 other vets and this office had a very important element... a FRIENDLY - HELPFUL front office! Dr's ... you should realize their importance... These girls are the first person and last person we see... lousy front office staff is usually a sign your whole experience will be lousy! We have been taking our olde English bulldog, Tank, here for 6 years. They have treated him since he was a puppy. They have always been extremely gentle and kind with all of us. Tank looks quite menacing to some people and he is not small, but they have never used a muzzle on him once. They never push medication on us and listen when we tell them how it affects him. They understand completely that we are neurotic about our dog and always fit us in when we are overly concerned about something. We could never take him anywhere else. Read Less

They are kind, courteous, friendly, helpful and the office is always clean. They explain everything before any type of procedure is done. They send reminders by email which is great.
