They seem to have fair prices . They are pretty busy I will warn you you could wait up to an hour for each visit. They say they open at 7:30 but the doctor doesn't actually get there till 8. Our dog was viciously attacked by the neighbor's 2 pit bulls that came into our yard.  Dr Wu and staffDid everything possible to save  him however the injuries were to severe and unfortunately we had to put him down.  The doctor kept us updated on his status the entire time, was compassionate extremely caring which gave me total comfort.  I absolutely highly recommend this doctor and veterinary facility. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. The Dr. is patient and explains everything carefully. After major surgery to save my cats leg, she called me personally at home for an update. When my old dog had to be euthanized they did it with compassion, making sure she was relaxed and did not suffer. I highly recommend this office. Read Less

I admit I was a little worried when I arrived because it wasnt what I was expecting physically but they were all so friendly and understanding the whole time. They were also upfront about my dogs situation and all of the procedures they wanted to take made a lot of sense and werent too over the top. They gave me all the possible meds choices and called me multiple times to check up on my dogs wellbeing. It was also very affordable. I love Dr Song, she's amazing. She comes off as grouchy but she really is a sweetheart. When we had to put my cat down, she held my hand in hers over his body and said a prayer and cried with me. She knows what she is talking about and is a great vet and person. However, now that her daughter is there the prices have skyrocketed and I can no longer afford to take my animals there.Read Less

This has been my veterinarian for many years they're very wonderful people. They have been my dog's vet and showed very kindness and love to them with every appointment. Recently my dog Miss Blue had been battling Cancer for two years. She had two surgery's to prolong her life. I cherished those times I had with her. With much grief and sorrow I had to leave my dog to rest one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. When we came in for that appointment her last one the staff was wonderful the veterinarian treated us and my dog with the most love and kindness I've ever seen before. For anyone wondering if they want to take their pet hair I would tell you with a hundred percent of a pure heart this is the best place I've ever been to and they were wonderful and caring loving people. I went in there yesterday because my Yorkie has a lot of allergy problems and I was aware that Dr. song was no longer there she had to retired . And was kind if iffy .. Because Dr song knows my baby's history.. but her daughter was just as good as her and was pleased with the vist. Just one minor problem due to my carecredit card had my married name and my ID had my Maiden name i was not allowed to use it .(I spoke to carecredit they didn't understand if I had an picture ID with my name on it why wasn't it being allowed to use it).. and ive used it there before anyhow i had to use my credit card. As long as I can remember Dr. song has been our family pet dr for many many years,although I'm sad to see her go I know her daughter will do good in her place she's had a good teacher..best of luck Dr song on your retirement and thank you for your service to our community !.Read Less

I would recommend this veterinarian to anyone. She is amazing. You can honestly tell she cares about animals and what she does. She is not in it for the $. Yes it costs. Yes when you have a sick or injured pet it can be expensive. You pay for what you get. Here you are paying for experience, knowledge, and the fact that she cares about what she does. I have four dogs. From 11 years to 6 weeks... I have been coming here for over 11 years with the oldest one. We tried a few other vets with the first one and finally found this doctor. Dr. Song and Family Pet Hospital is the best!!!Dr. Song truly cares about the pets she treats and not out to steal your money. She will not do unnecessary tests or procedures. She does what is in the best interest of your pet. She is very knowledgeable with her old world wisdom and is always correct with her diagnosis and treatment. When my 4 pound Chihuahua was bleeding so much that I didn't think she would survive but after two days with Dr. song she came home and was fine! I can't say enough about them. I know my pets are in good hands at family pet hospital. The rates are reasonable but the skill and knowledge of Dr. song and Dr. Wu are what keep us going back!!! Absolutely the best veterinarian there is. Caring, selfless, giving her all to helping animals of many types. Have even taken goats, pigs and chickens to this clinic besides dogs, cats, etc. for a long time. I have personally seen her save many of my animals with life threatening ailments, saying "I will do my best. " And she did. There's a LOT of veterinary hospitals in Stockton that only care how much money they can make. They have no caring of anything but money because of their culture. Dr. Song has always put the animals first. They have been her life for 30 years. I know because I have known her for that long and trust her completely. Not all vets in Stockton are created equal. Horrible experience. Dr. Song, was rude and harsh. She suggested that my dog was worthless and I should put it down. She grabbed the dogs face harshly when examining it. I had been to her many times before and she had killed "accidentally" two of my animals, she sent them home with me and died of shock. One was spayed and the other, she removed the skin from. I highly recommend Family Pet Hospital. Over a year and half ago, I made the biggest mistake. I gave my 1 and half year old labrador a mango and he swallowed the seed. It caused blockage and I took him to SF SPCA and they took X-Rays. They said he needed surgery immediately and recommended me a doctor in SF. It was way out of my budget. I called Family Pet Hospital, I spoke to Dr Song's son (extremely professional) and he and his father saved my dogs life. They were much cheaper than SF and I was able to afford Family Pet Hospital. I called the Family Pet Hospital on a Wednesday after I bought a dog and needed to get him vaccinated before a trip to the groomers Saturday. They said to bring him right down. When I got there, there was a short line the staff were friendly and handled each customer as quickly as possible.I filled out 1 simple form and that was it. All together I was there maybe 30 minutes (which was great beacause I had a 6yr old a 4mo old & 2 dogs with me lol) The prices were very affordable for the vaccinations it was easy to find and plenty of parking I will definately use the Family Pet Hospital again. Great care with a veterinarian who knows what she is doing. I have had wonderful service and care for my dogs. I am pleased with the doctor and her no nonsense and knowledgeable approach. Dr Song is fabulous. I have had many animal and many, many Vets but never one that cared about my animal as Dr Song does. She was closed on a late Sunday evening and I called her (unknowing to me the phones were transferred to her house.) She had me meet her in the clinic and she helped us with the allergic reaction our puppy was having from a spider bite. She DID NOT charge me a small fortune for the visit as I was expecting and she called me 4 hours later to check on the dog. She had only been our Vet for a couple of months at this point and still took the utmost care of our animal. I was not surprised when we took this puppy to obedience school weeks later and the trainer was referring someone to her. We now have 3 animals that see Dr Song. Read Less
