This place was awesome. I had to put my rescued poodle down on a Sunday because she had Jeckle Hyde issues to the point she was not safe around humans or other dogs. After many unprovoked attacks on our other dogs and us we had some so bad we had to go to the hospital, we knew the issues were never going to get fixed. I loved this dog! I cried so badly. The Dr. And assistant let me stay with her while she was humanely put down. They cremated her and had a nice box with a card and were very professional and compassionate. Took my 9 year old French Bulldog there since this was the closest place open on a Sunday. My Dog is paralyzed in his rear legs. He was in a lot of pain and acting lethargic. The vet examined him and as he touched him near his ears my dog hoped in pain. The vet then looked in each ear for infection and his words were “they look great” (I was standing right there as he did this holding my dog) He diagnosed him and said his spine was hurting him. This morning my dog couldn’t walk and is tilting his head to the left. We took him into another vet, his regular and right away they said his ears are really infected and swollen so bad they can’t tell for sure but he may have a ruptured eardrum. When the swelling goes down we will know more. Now I’m not sure if we could have prevented the drum from rupturing with the first correct diagnosis, but I DO KNOW THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT EASILY. I’m not sure how many times this has happened there but I will never go back. I feel bad for the negative review, but do not want this to happen to a single other dog. Very disappointed!!!!!!! Dr. Singh and his team are amazing people! When my puppy got sick with Parvo, they were so kind and helpful. Being a first time dog owner, it was a scary and confusing situation. I tried calling all the hospitals in the area but either they were closed or didnt answer, they were the only pet hospital that answered. Once I described the symptoms, they said I could bring him in right away. The parvo test came out positive and they explained all the options I had. He wasn't doing well, he needed treatment and a blood tranfusion. My baby was there for 6 days and it difficult to see him so weak, but with the care the Geisert team had with him, he got healthier and healthier. They did such an amazing job at a very fair price! Parvo treatment is already expensive but they work with you, and I can't thank them enough for helping me! When I was finally able to bring my puppy home, they explained everything so clearly. Horrible place. My dog, who is a small chihuahua terrier mix, was attacked by a Pitbull months ago. My family took her here because they had all of her paperwork and information. My dog stayed here for 4 days. They didn't charge me or my family the first night, but charged when THEY suggested that she stay with them longer to "make sure she was okay." Keep in mind that I came in to visit her after her surgeries and she seemed fine other than the fact that she was groggy from the anesthesia. After night 2, they said that she wasn't eating and they wanted to keep her again to ensure that she was okay. And I thought, "okay. Fine. Let's make sure she's okay." Night 3, they said that I could come by and take her home. FINALLY. But no, when my brother and dad came in to get her, they said she's staying one more night. My dad, being very short tempered, came in the next day and said that he's taking her home now. And after everything, the surgeries, the medications, and the overnight stays, we paid them over $1,000. My family was FURIOUS. Once my dog was home, we tried feeding her and she was eating a lot. An entire can of wet dog food in less than 10 minutes. "Isn't eating." Ha. BS. A few weeks later, my dad took her in to have her stitches removed and we thought that was the end of it. But no, of course that isn't the last we hear from them. Somehow, some of her stitches came out and they had to stitch her up again and charged us for it. Another $200 taken from us because of their lack of learning how to properly put in stitches. Overall, my dog is fine. She's acting like herself and is running around like how she used to before she was attacked. Thank goodness. But I am NEVER taking her, or any of my other pets back here. If you love your pets, you would do the same. All this place wants is your money. They don't care about your pets or your financial instabilities you may have. Read Less

The doctor refused to even take a cursory look at the suffering animal without a creditcard. My friends are not wealthy but not opposed to pay. They just needed to know if the dog could be saved. The doctor committed an act of unconscionable cruelty by not tending in the most basis first aid fashion to a suffering animal. Hard to put into a very short statement of what a horrific and traumatic experience this was! NEVER AGAIN! I drove 4 hours one way because a friend YES a friend recommended this Vet Hospital for my English bulldog to have a cesarean OMG nickel and dimed me TO DEATH!! AND WAITED UNTIL THE SECOND OF HER SURGERY TO EVEN TELL ME IV fluids are NOT included... Pain medication is NOT included ANY medication is NOT included X-Rays are NOT included nothing was included...! A C-section is when you slice a dog open and rip out the puppies. Nobody was even available from Midnight until 8 a.m. daily.... WAIT WHAT?! I PAID FOR AND WAS TOLD A $40.00 DAILY CHARGE WAS GOING TO BE ADDED she was being monitored daily how do you monitor an animal that could possibly go into labor and die unattended?! The only way I found out this place is not open from Midnight through 8 a.m. and states on (my receipt) that NO staff is on the premises from those hours... WAIT ... W H A T This place is filthy and I mean disgustingly filthy it's like a third world country filthy I PERSONALLY witnessed nobody washing their hands no exaggeration from treating a puppy with parvo to walking to the front desk sitting down and helping customers oh my God what the hell have I done I entrusted a friend she's no friend obviously a cut-throat that CLEARLY doesn't give a crap about her pets she's a breeder plain and simple! Ended up costing me 700.00 ABOVE WHAT I WAS QUOTED! I was extremely adamant about asking if this covered everything oh yeah yeah yeah it's covered no problem to get there..... Came to Geisert Animal Hospital per a recommendation from a friend, for a C-section for my French Bulldog. Being that it was my first time breeding my beloved little girl, I was a worried mess when I rushed her in a week before her expected due date thinking she might be exhibiting signs of going into labor. Dr.Singh and his staff were nothing but kind and helpful even in the late night hour that I showed up at because of my long drive from Monterey. Dr. Singh was very conscientious about doing what was best for the puppies and my girl. Although I live in Sacramento I make the trip out to Stockton every time .they have a passionate helpful staff that have helped me load and unload my pets, cleaned out the ears and at some times when they are not busy , trim the nails ..knowledgeable doctors is key to any vet pratice and Dr.SINGH & Dr.SINEY has gone above and beyond to help save a few of my pets in the past ..another good thing about them is the business hours...they are open all 7 days till midnight which is great news in case of emergencies..lastly they have competive fair prices compared to other vets that's why till to date I bring all my dogs and recommend my fellow animal lovers here ..Read Less
