My Chihuahua is receiving excellent care after a dog attacked her and has gone through two surgeries. She still has to have a lot of care before she will be completely healed. We have been going to Sierra Clinic for about twenty years and have always been very pleased with the excellent care and friendliest personnel. We started going there with our Rottweiller Thor Von in 1998 and then our Athena ( Rotty ) and just yesterday 1/11/18 with our Rotty Maximillian. We were so afraid that it could be a serious problem, like cancer, but it turned out to be a minor problem. Dr. Cleary got right on it and took excellent care of our big boy. Also, Anna who took care of him was so very kind and caring to our Max and to us as well. The whole staff is friendly, caring, sensitive and understanding to all of our concerns and needs. This Vet is absolutely outstanding. I had to put my 2 year old pit bull mix to sleep 10/2/17. I brought him in and Dr Lukars was very straight forward with me on the cost of any tests and procedures that may need to be done and the likelihood of him making it through the procedures. Rocko had a tear in his intestine and was slowly being poisoned. I made the decision to put him to rest. While I was saying goodbye to my baby a dark liquid came up from his mouth. The Dr reassured my mom after I left the office that I had made the correct decision in letting him go. He would not have made it through one more night. The staff is absolutely amazing as well. Very kind hearted and apologetic for my loss. I definitely recommend this place. They are not greedy like a lot of other vets and truly want to help your fur babies. Read Less

I got a referral from a friend for grooming - my dog Sparkey is a difficult patient and they have to give him a mild sedative in order to groom him. They did the best job ever on my baby since I have owned him so in turn I decided to switch him here for his visits as well. Terrible! Our dog, seen by these vets on multiple points in past, cut her foot badly. We brought her in, bleeding, obviously needing care soon. After waiting for the desk attendant to finish selling dog treats to other customers, the attendant finally went to ask the vet if she could be seen. To which he said they had no time. We went to Rosemarie vets; they saw her right away and scheduled the needed surgery (back left pad was sliced, front left leg cut) within two hours. Very happy with Rosemarie' s care. Will never go to Sierra again, even though they are by far the closest to our home. I might understand if we were complete strangers, but we were returning customers. Sierra seems all about making easy money for easy work! Don't waste your time if your pet needs real care! Read Less

Experience with Dr. Yao has been great. She performed surgery on our older dog, and all is well, in fact much better than before. One thing that troubles us is when our dogs are taken into another room and we're not informed of what, why, where this is happening. All staff is extremely attentive, communicative, informative and helpful. I always feel our pets are being treated with respect, concern and love, no matter the situation. Jackson has been going here since I picked him up at 8 weeks. They have gotten him through Valley Fever (which was very bad) other misc health issues & check ups. But this time it was his teeth. He had some major problems and they have been so wonderful and he's doing great the day after his 5 extractions. A huge THANK YOU to Dr. Yao and Beth ( <3 ). On 8/13/16 I had to take my Pepsi (Pug/Bulldog) to have her laid to rest. She was around 14 years old and lived a wonderful life. She was blind and could no longer hear. This was the hardest decision I had to make. The Dr. Was amazing she stayed with me during the entire time. She sat on the floor with Pepsi and I tell I was ready to leave. all this place cares about is taking your money.. took my chihuahua in and had to surrender her, they demanded $500+ dollars up front, even after i surrendered her, they asked if i can give them some money. -- they also put her to sleep. A few weeks ago my dog Roxy was ran over by a car. A good sammaritan had the heart to pick her up off the side of the road while others kept on driving. I am thankful for that woman as I was able to be with Roxy while she took her last breath. I am also thankful that sierra Vet handle the procedure with integrity. I was greatful that they sent me a little poem and sympathy card today. This was a sad day in my life. They showed uttmost respect for my Dog and for the grief that I was feeling. Allthough this wasnt a pleasant visit to the vet. I am happy with the professional compassionate way that it was handled. We wanted to thank everyone at Sierra vet clinic. We brought our beloved Cookie in on Sept 11th she started having seizures so we rushed her in. Dr Damron was amazing she worked with us on everything. We were financially in a bind and she worked with that. They tried everything possible to help our baby girl cookie. Unfortunately nothing was working and we had to say goodbye to Cookie. Horrible 3 week Ordeal This place is all about how YOU can help THEM I called on a Saturday to find out they don't take walk ins This is the first Vet place I found open on Saturdays that doesn't do this I, the customer took their fax # & contacted my other vet to have records transferred. They knew I was doing this but didn't contact me to let me know they never received them. I had 2 cats to take to them. I was 20 min late late for my 1st scheduled appt because I had trouble getting cat # 2 in her carrier. I let them know right away when I arrived & was told now they could only see 1 of my cats. Also I would not be allowed the 20% 1st time discount on the 2nd cat. So I re-scheduled for both of them. THEN I found out they didn't have the records anyway. Next I received a message that if there were any problems keeping my appt let them know. I called & inquired about the records. They still didn't have them; they would try to get them by the end of the day Friday. I asked them to contact me & let me know because otherwise I would need to re-schedule again. No follow-up call. Sat am I called to see did they have the records. NO but if I re-schedule they want to charge ME up front because it cost the Dr. money for all these cancellations. I told them they should have worked with me last week on their 20% advertisement and their dr would already have some $. Their idea of customer service is that you do everything their way and they don't need to accommodate you at all All this just so I could get my cats updated on their shots.
