Terrible experience. Talked in great length to staff about boarding our puppy, felt reassured and confidant by the time I set the appointment for a visit and boarding. Showed up at the designated time for appointment to CLOSED GATE/CLOSED OFFICE. We had the latest time possible (as we hate boarding our pets, and suck up as much time with them as we can before leaving) so there were NO OTHER BOARDING OPTIONS. Not only were we left in a bind for boarding, but I felt completely... let down professionally after having multiple conversations with staff and doing my due diligence to seek out what I thought would be a great facility. Thankfully family stepped in and helped us out for our vacation. Upon my return from vacation I called the facility and was told, "OH, Sorry, there was an emergency." I get it, I am empathetic to emergencies, AND I also expect professionalism. No call, no note, no nothing, just closed gate and left high and dry. NO CALL even the next business day. No apologies. NOTHING. And now when I call them to seek out what happened I am told, that there was nothing they could do. OH YES THERE IS! A PHONE CALL!!!!!! before, during or after - the emergency is better than complete disregard. The woman on the phone said she would have doc call me... cool, maybe some amends could be made, but no call ever came. I do like to give grace to people, but I also like when people are caring and professional. This was not what I experienced. And, unfortunately, the situation and the handling of the situation lead me to not want to allow a second chance. The gals here are absolutely amazing. Such sweet hearts. I believe they love what they do and that's why they are so good at it. They handled my Nala with care and gave me great advice on how to care for her and what to expect from the vaccinations. I won't take my baby anywhere else. We previously brought our other dog here for a prolapsed uterus and they were so awesome. They didn't try to rip us and try and fix something that was a bit more serious than we expected. They recommend us to take her to a specialist. I highly recommend this place. They are awesome... and I'm hard to please. I don't accept mediocre customer service. Read Less

I had called prior to my arrival with an emergency to put my 12+ year old Lab down as she was bleeding internally. I was at a Vet office down the street from West lane Pet Hospital (Family Pet Hospital) and was having a very uncompassionate experience and needed assistance ASAP.  The doctor and staff made everything so seamless, and made our urgency theirs. Took my boy in today, so that I could get a diagnosis behind his limp. He was absolutely terrified, and had a bit of an accident during his exam. I was a little embarrassed about it, but was met with a very understanding vet technician, who assured me it was a common occurrence. I will say that I was very proud of my boy. I was expecting him to act with aggression, and informed the staff of my fears. They went out of their way to make sure all involved were safe and comfortable. And, my babe was docile as can be.While we are still unsure of what is causing my dog's limp, the vet technician gave me a thorough explanation as to how the veterinarian believes we should proceed, along with an estimate. And, because I was new to West Lane Pet Hospital, the initial exam was only sixteen dollars.I think dog and I have found a new veterinarian. Read Less

Horrible service every single time. And since I've taken my dog here something is always wrong with her. They do exams and can never tell me what's wrong unless I ask them for clarification. They have tons of bad attitude when I'm concerned about my pet and ask a lot of questions when it's their job to make sure I am understanding what is going on. My German Shepherd Zoey was attacked and bit by another dog and required stitches. A friend told me she had a good experience here so I gave them a call. They got me in the door with a $16 exam price which was the cheapest that I could find. Im glad I chose this place. I am so happy I went here!  We took our 10 year old chihuahua/jack russel mix, Oobie, in due to a mass on his inner leg.  Upon entering, we felt comfortable and so did Oobie (he was wagging his tail, when at our other vet he always had his tail down and seemed scared). We had taken him to his vet and were extremely disappointed with the treatment we got there.  The staff made us feel welcomed and they really listened to what we had to tell them about his mass and his history.  Dr. Bajwa was very thorough and explained everything and gave us choices for his treatment.  Both ladies and Dr. Bajwa were very kind, helpful and knowledgeable.  We are extremely happy with everything and everyone here and will be bringing all of our pets here in the future.  Thank you West Lane Pet, we have found our new Vet! I am transitioning from my long time Vet to this office; I recently took my dog in for an exam regarding a fatty tumor I wanted removed.  The Dr. suggested the normal blood work and subsequent testing on the tumor, which I declined.  What I liked is that he was available THAT DAY to perform the procedure; I picked my dog up after work like promised.  The cost was spot on-no extra costs; the follow up was quick-as promised.  Subsequently I took my other two dogs over to get the vaccines during the clinic hours - on a Sunday; no exam was required and the cost was clinic priced!  The location is a little difficult for me as I come from the opposite direction and the office is a little tired, but the staff was kind and friendly.  My pets suffered no ill effects. Make sure if you are new to redeem your new patient new pet free exam. I purchased a Yorkie and needed an exam for his health, so I googled and yelped a few places es and came across here. Firstly the place was clean on the inside. There no offensive smells, it was very clean and had information packets in the lobby for you.2. Dr is very nice. He looked at the vaccinations my pup ready had, and broke down to me each one he needed more of and how it works. He told me treatments etc. He really put it in laymen's for me as this whole vaccination of a pup is new to me. 3. The ladies were nice, and sweet. They were courteous. My baby had to get shots , and I just couldn't get him to sit still. The nurse held him, and he didn't move one bit! She was really good and sweet. Overall I really liked this place. The service was great, the place was clean. The Dr was nice...I think we've found our new vet for sure. Read Less

My dog had a tumor removed on 04/05/16, they removed the tumor and I took her home the same day, every one there at the clinic, were very caring and the doctor did a great job! They were also the cheapest in town, as far as prices for the surgery. They beat my usual Vet by 100.00. So if your dog needs any kind of surgery, trust me, take them to West Lane Pet Hospital! On July 8, 2015, I brought my elderly dog to be euthanized for throat cancer. They were understaffed and tried to start an IV with one technician. We heard our dog scream and the girl at the desk finally helped hold him. When he died, he screamed the most awful scream I have ever heard, not going to sleep peacefully, lying down. West Lane Pet Hospital has been taking care of all of my pets since I was a kid. The original owners, Drs. Jim & Suzie Walford, were the most kind, caring and thoughtful people I could ever imagine trusting with the care of my animals. When I was without income, and my dog had cancer, they even treated him for free because they knew I couldn't afford the payments! I always come here. They have taken great care of my dogs since they were puppies. The vet answers any questions you might have. He is super nice and thorough. My furry child was having horrible breath problems and she is a kisser so you can imagine what problem that was for me! After trying different vets west lane pet hospital was the most reasonable with their prices. Not only was their staff very polite and respectful but Dr was very nice as well! My dog chop, which is a min pin and deer Chihuahua mix was on the verge of death because of my stupid mistake of not getting him vaccinated.  I took him in to see Dr. Bajwa on 10/3/2014 to be treated for the parvo that my dog caught. His staff was very friendly and really good with my dog , so I ended up hospitalizing him there for about 4 days to a week. I will be on the way to pick him up today they have kept me updated daily on his progression and I promise you everyday I got a phone call my dog was getting better and better , anyways long story short if you ever need to have your dog saved from parvo this is the man to take him to, he is a very knowledgeable veterinarian and his staff was just so caring it was unbelievable. My dog was recently attacked and at the time West Lane was closed. West Lane is my primary vet. I took my dog to another vet that left my dog bleeding in a kennel for 2 days. On Monday morning 7\21\14 I went to where my dog was and found him in the same condition, I took him out of that vet (Family Pet Hospital) and rushed him to. West Lane where they didn't hesitate to take my dog and clean his wounds and do what was neccessary to stop his bleeding. They went above and beyond because I had used the last bit of my savings at the other vet. They didn't make saving his life a condition of how much money I had.
