I felt so taken advantage of. My cat was missing for three days and, when he came back, he was distressed and in pain. Rear leg. It was late, my vet was gone for the day and the office sent me to this ER. Very nice staff, but they wanted to do over $800 in tests and that DID NOT include the cost to fix the problem. I spend over $200 for the visit and some pain meds and took him home. We went to our vet the next day... x-rays and some meds for pain and some for inflammation; follow-up visit in 2 weeks... cost... $200. I will NEVER go there again; I was, indeed, being played. Stay away. What ever they did to my cat, he came home not the same. It was like we brought home someone else’s cat? Totally traumatized. Not the same animal we brought in there. STAY AWAY!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!! This clinic is nothing but fake people acting like they are Vets when im not even sure if this business has the proper licensing to operate. The Doctor that looks at your pet does not come to explain what the issue is, what will be the steps that need to be taken to treat you pet or anything to do with the treatment and process. They will just make you sign paperwork and do random charges on you card. My dog was there to be treated for a infection on the leg and what ever was promised to us and said would be done was never done by the clinic and its employees. We left with my dog still in the issue and pain my dog went in for. I have contacted the BBB and will make sure leave a review anywhere and everywhere possible to bring awareness to pet owner to not go to this Clinic. I've read the review from the person who had such a terrible opinion of this facility and obviously that's unfortunate to read...I, however, had a much better experience, if that's possible when facing the horrible task of euthanizing our beloved animals. My sweet baby boy cat who I was incredibly attached to suffered from emphysema and I was just at Emergency Animal Centre twice last week. Yes it was very expensive but ALL emergency facilities are. I've been in rescue for over a decade and can attest to the fact that it's always going to be at least $500 off the bat to get any services at a vet emergency place. Dr. Ogle (sp?) was so patient and understanding when I brought Fred in for the last time. I was in complete hysteria crying and the staff was so sweet and empathetic. Fred was given some oxygen first so he could catch his breath..that was really kind. The staff made a little paw print clay paper weight for me so I could take a part of Fred home with me and I received a hand written note from Dr. Ogle in the mail afterward. They couldn't cure him but they helped me get through one of the worst things ever we have to do. I am grateful knowing this facility is near by, as I still have 2 other babies at home. Read Less

I see some unfavorable reviews and I caution you to read this one thoroughly. This is an EMERGENCY Center, so yes the prices will be more expensive than your regular vet and yes, they may have to do additional tests you're not used to paying for, remember, we all came into this location on an EMERGENCY, so the Doctors have to run tests to figure out what the issue is. I've been going to this hospital on and off for over 15 years. They took care of my first dog Buster when she had swallowed parts of a tennis ball that needed to be surgically removed. They kept me informed every step of the way and even let me visit with her while she was in recovery. Years later she was diagnosed with cancer, they walked me through the difficult step of having to put her to sleep, they counseled me and gave me all the options so I could make the best decision for her and my family. Ultimately we chose to have this done at the emergency hospital and they couldn't have been more gracious. Now I have 3 little dogs and they've seen them on and off for the past 12 years. Recently this weekend my little dog fell and I thought she broke a tooth, it was a Sunday, so back to the emergency room we went. I was assuming it would cost at least $1000 (surgery to remove the tooth, etc.). We saw Dr. Morgan Cavanaugh and he said it wasn't broken, he checked and checked, he didn't want to do any unnecessary exploratory exam or put her under, he gave us liquid advil and said to call him if there's an issue later on ($100). After having a HORRIBLE experience at another emergency vet in the area, I started doing my homework so we'd know where to go next time and I'm so glad we did. One of my dogs ate a bag of dark chocolate chips this week and started showing signs of chocolate toxicity. Poison control instructed me to bring her in right away for treatment to avoid any further complications. I called the vet to let them know we were on the way & I had a case # from poison control. They took her back as soon as we arrived and began checking her vitals and mapping the best course of treatment. My jaw dropped when they gave me the estimate- $355!!!! I honestly expected closer to $3k so I was thrilled! Previous horrible vet mentioned above charged $700 before they would even look at my cat, and another $3500 only to have her die in their care. An hour after arriving, we were out the door with a happy mommy & a happy pitty. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful. My Cat was near death with sickness. I was desperate. These people were SO professional and courteous. They got my pet in right away and put it on oxygen. Doctor Sarah Lavely took care of us. She was such a wonderful soul as well as doctor. They gave me everything I needed to get my cat through the night. I am now seeing improvement and I credit that to them. It only cost $100 to show up at 2am in the morning... That seemed more than fair to me. Although I did not like that they TRIED to make me sign a court waver under the duress of my cat dying. I felt that was a bit unfair and possibly/questionably not legal. Also.. Google maps GPS'ed me to the wrong building. Another Animal clinic 3 buildings down. Very odd. Watch out for that. Other reviews here seem fixated on the high cost of treatment. All I can say is they saved my dog's life when she tore open and ate half a pound of chocolate covered coffee beans. Drove for miles to find an emergency center to help my neighbors dog who was having seizures and was referred here. The front office was amazing and very caring. Both my roommate and I went to this hospital as it was not only close, but they took both of our dogs immediately without an appointment. Sidney was our receptionist, and we really appreciated her communication and constant checking on us while we waited for our doctor. Dr. White is absolutely phenomenal, listened to everything we had to say and educated us on what could possibly be wrong. Would give them zero stars if possible. My dog ate chocolate, brought her here and estimate $800-1000 plus sign a waiver if you want them to perform CPR which starts at 100$. So many liability waivers to sign they must have been sued in the past. What a depressing establishment and they will financially rape you when you are in an emergency. If my dog could speak she would say "F--K these uncaring A--holes" Update I heard back from the Animal Centre their reply was simply "yer an idiot" Look at this disgusting establishments reviews. My rottweiler had symptoms of bloat so I mediately took her to the emergency Center when I did some homework on the computer trying to figure out her symptoms . Yes it is expensive but they got the job done and at the end of the day I got peace of mind. I only got xrays to determine if she had bloat, thank God she did not. I didn't get blood test done or anything else because I would rather wait till the next day to go to my usual veterinarian which I did and she has the flu.. I was extremely paranoid bringing it to this place because I did not know anything about this hospital but I did not have any problems here.. Our pet was brought to this location as an emergency and one of the technicians, Sidney was very RUDE, UNCARING and UNPROFESSIONAL and showed no care for our pet to the point that we left the place! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE and I WILL POST AN ALTERNATE EMERGENCY CENTER to avoid going here because others need to care for their pets and they should never be held hostage at a place that NEGLECTS and doesn't care for animals! We just got home from Animal Emergency Centre. Luckily our dog is home and only needs antibiotics but the staff could not have been more wonderful. Terri and Chris at the front were friendly and happy to talk to us during the hour we were there, the vet was nice and detailed in telling us what was wrong and what needed to be done. We saw them interact with a patient in a more urgent situation and they were just as accommodating and kind to them. I want to thank all the staffs that treated my dog, Ayla. My dog became lethargic and almost unresponsive after going to the park last weekend, I rushed into this emergency vet, completely panicked. Front staff immediately took her to the back, treated her right away, the vet came out to talk to me in timely manner. They were all professional, compassionate, and caring. They understand that our pets are like family members to us. I was very pleased with the care we received. She had chemical ingestion, and stayed over night in icu. She got better over night and I took her home the next day. They were kind enough to give me a call next day to make sure she was still doing ok. I took my dog to another emergency place a year ago, they were very over priced. But this place was very reasonable price for the emergency hospital. I would recommend anyone to take their pets to this place for emergency situations. I only wished they open non-emergency hours too!Read Less

Our Dog was having multiple seizures and so we decided to take him to this clinic right away to have him checked out. Not only was Tom at the front desk very nice and took him in right away, but we did not have to wait long to talk to the doctor about his needs and a course of action. She was very nice and even though it was so early in the morning, she was very articulate and had a great course of action. The nurse then gave us an estimate and we were on our way home while our pup stayed in their care. I called twice that day to get updates and every time, they were very nice and very informative. We were able to take our pup home the next day and he is now 24 hours free of seizures and we have a plan of action for how to subside these in the future. If your pet is in need, the doctors and nurses are wonderful and they do not charge you an arm and a leg, even though we would pay it for our animals.
