I first found out about Arroyo Animal Clinic when in 2009 I adopted a black and tan dachshund, Holly, from the son of a lady I volunteered with after the lady passed away. She had taken Holly to this vet, and her son took his dogs here, and he said they were excellent, and it is true! All of the staff love and care about the animals, and it is clearly evident in the way they treat them during the visit. The doctors always explain everything and give me options, so I can make the best care decisions. I have recommended Arroyo to others, and those people had good experiences as well.I also took another dog, Tuffy, here for his care. Tuffy gets really stressed out when anyone touches his nails, so nail trims were impossible. The staff at Arroyo knew how to handle Tuffy, and held him in a different way, and in a gentle way, and Tuffy went through the nail trimming process without any issues. They even give senior discounts so that older people can save a little money when caring for their companion animals!
