Just took my lab puppy in for a foxtail up her nose. Dr. Hall took care of my pup, and was so kind and caring that I had to write a review. When I asked about the procedure, she took me through it step-by-step. Then she gave me an itemized estimate before taking my puppy. While she was being treated, which included anesthesia, the doctor sent me text messages including photos of Raven undergoing treatment! Who does that?! When I went to pick my dog up, Dr. Hall came and sat with me and explained to me what she had done, what she found, what to expect and spent about 10 minutes talking to me. For several days after the procedure the office called me to make sure Raven was OK and taking her medicine. I love Camino Animal Clinic! Their front office staff is always really friendly and upbeat and any staff member that walks by says hi to you which is extremely welcoming! Our vet is Dr. Cummings and she's made a HUGE difference in my dog's allergy struggle. Amazing! First vet I've been to where the care of your pet is more important than profit! Staff was absolutely wonderful, when I first went I noticed them talking to every pet owner like they have known them for a long time. Once they started talking to me they made me feel the same way! Camino Animal Clinic...we love you! Your our dog's greatest blessing! When rescued, she came to us with a broken leg and eye infection from being used in a puppy mill. Dr. Frier, Dr. Hall, and the rest of their wonderful staff worked hard to rehabilitate her back to health, with the use of hydro-therapy! Since Camino is continually sending me emails and letters asking me to write a review, I figured I would go ahead and do so. The staff at Camino are very friendly and welcoming and at first seemed to care about my cat (Kitty). After the initial exam it was determined that Kitty would need a blood panel to officially diagnose the issue. They quoted me at $325 on top of the exam fee. Price was a big issue for me and I was unable to afford the blood panel so I went home and did some research. I found a veterinary office in Simi Valley that quoted a blood panel and urinary test for a total of $187. Seeing as how Camino was friendly with me, I wanted to give them the option of my business if they were willing to match that price or come close to it. They refused to do so, so I went to the other vet and saved hundreds. Kitty was diagnosed with early kidney failure and is now being treated properly. I am passionate about animals and their well-being and although the staff were friendly, I was very put off by their unnecessarily high prices and unwillingness to compromise for the sake of the animal's well-being. Our family has been going to Camino Animal Clinic for 15 years. They have given all of our animals (my dad's 3 dogs and our 2 cats) wonderful care. All the doctors and staff are very skilled and truly care about your animal. It is easy to get same day appointments if your animal has a critical situation you need addressed right away and they always follow up by phone to check on how your animal is doing after any procedure. We recently had to put down our cat of 10 years - everyone was so caring and they made the experience as comfortable for us as can be expected. My 6-mo old little girl, Elise, was spayed yesterday and she is doing very well. Doctor Srungaram, Claire, Harriet and other clinic staff were very organized, informative, patient and professional with us. They did not rush me through the process. After reading reviews and one initial visit at this clinic, I felt comfortable handing my little dog into their care. When I picked Elise up after her procedure I was informed of important details for her recovery and I was given written notes to take home with me. The pain meds were provided in easy to administer syringes. This morning, Claire called me to ask me how Elise is doing and to offer assistance. Isn't that nice? The clinic is clean and pleasant. We live in Sherman Oaks and we rescued our 2nd furry baby from Shelter Hope in Thousand Oaks last year. They recommended us to go to Camino Clinic for her vaccines and exam. The vets and all the staff were all so amazing, warm, nice and helpful that we decided we would also bring our older dog there. When we took our oldest dog to travel with us last summer, we went through some stressful moments, because of missing/outdated documents but they were so helpful and really helped us go through the whole ordeal as smoothly as possible. We were just there last week, for routine exam, vaccines and travel certificate for BOTH babies, and as always they were nice, patient and thorough! I have three dogs Gigi was in desperate need of care cause other vet didn't know what to do and dr Hal took over and my girl is down to 9 pds and 2units of insuline she is the greatest then I have coco who was 19 pds and was in desperate need of help dr Hal once again dianotince her with diebetic and coughing all the time now she's 11 pds and 3units and hardly coughing she was my shyes girl and then there biscuit who is just a bullet except when she see dr Hal without this clinci and all the staff I don't think my two would be here today. thank you all I love this place Read Less

We have a border terrier who had been ill for 6 months - swollen belly, always hyperactive, won't settle, and would wheeze in pain slightly when falling asleep. After getting a pancreatitis diagnosis twice and not solving the problem, we went to Camino Animal Clinic based on the Yelp reviews. Dr. Hall spent time reviewing Mutty's records, speaking with another professional for advice and ran an additional test to confirm a hunch. Camino Clinic is by far the best vets, vet techs and office team ever. I love them and both my dogs love it there.They go above and beyond to make your pet and you feel comfortable and safe. I drive 35-45 minutes just to go to them. I cannot say enough good things about their service and the bedside banner. My puppy just had her neutering done and when I got there she was snuggled in a heating pad and blanket being held as she was waking. Not thrown in a cage. They give such tender love to your pets.
