If anyone needs to take their pet to the vet, I definitely recommend Conejo Valley Vet. We had to bring in our new puppy because she had a seizure and they were so compassionate and knowledgeable. I was so amazed by how kind they were. And without any mention of money they made it a point to save money where possible. They text and call you with updates and are patient enough to answer all of your questions. These people wanted our dog to be okay as much as we did. Kiki and I were there last night, because I could tell something was off about her. She suffers from renal failure, so pretty much everything is cause for concern. The place is huge and very nice, aesthetically speaking. I felt like we had come to a place with state of the art technology. The staff is prompt, professional, and compassionate (considering it was 4 in the morning and that was the very last place I wanted to be). Veterinary medicine is expensive. Scream it, punch a pillow, tell a houseplant how much you hate it, and move on. They don't overcharge compared to any other emergency clinic, and they will work with you as far as money goes. I knew walking in what I could spend, and I told them flat out. The doctor told me what they could do on my budget based on what she wanted to find out, and we went for it. She was friendly and no-nonsense (exactly what I wanted at oh-my-god o'clock in the morning) and we came up with a game plan from there. If you're reading this review, odds are you need or needed their services. Always remember, there will be more money. It's inconvenient, but you can call your auto loan company and ask for an extension, or cable, DWP. People appreciate that you're helping your companion. Don't let a temporary inconvenience rob you of your lifelong friend. There's only one of them. Best of luck to anyone who finds them self there for emergencies.Read Less
