We have been coming here for years and have been incredibly satisfied with the care we have received. My mom was the one who actually brought in my dog for a nail trim and told me the wait was rather long. She did appreciate them comping the cost of the service due to the wait. Other than that one instance, I can't think of one negative experience I have had with this office. The staff are always kind, courteous, and attentive which is very much appreciated. I am happy to be part of the WVG family.

Our dog has been a patient here since we got him at 12 weeks old. It’s been 1 1/2 yrs now and we are extremely happy with the care here. Last week they did a great job squeezing him in same day for the allergic reaction he had to skunk odor removal products. Appreciate the follow up call to see how he’s doing He had a growth removed and liked the way they suggested waiting to remove the same time as neutering to save us money. I have always had good luck at western veterinary group. The doctor I use most is retiring so he found a great doctor for me to go to when he’s not there and I had to make an emergency visit and see another doctor and she is wonderful as well!
I find the doctors very knowledgeable and they don’t try to sell you more than you need.
What I appreciate most about western veterinary group is their willingness to work from the bottom up instead of the top down with regards to my animals healthcare. It really is helpful considering veterinary expenses can really rack up! I also appreciate the doctor giving me their opinion of what is wrong rather than giving me a sheet of paper with all the things I can do to help the animal and trying to decide myself what I should do.
I would certainly recommend western veterinary group to everyone!

Our dog was attacked by another dog and was left in pretty bad shape. WV gave him special treatment and helped get him back to 100%.

I have been taking my babies to Dr. Mike for almost 10 years. He is a wonderful vet who goes above and beyond for all his patients. He has a wonderful bedside manner and always has the time to answer any questions you might have. His support staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. It is very apparent that everyone at this clinic loves animals. I am so very thankful that our family found Dr. Mike. I would never consider going anywhere else. I would never hesitate to recommend them to all my friends and family.

This was my 1st time at Western Vet Group and I've heard and read many great things about it. So, because of that, I was very disappointed in my experience there.
I took my dog in for a growth on his belly and after examining my dog and taking him back for a few procedures, it was decided the growth needed to be removed and I was presented with a "treatment sheet with costs". I was a bit surprised at the cost so I started asking what a few of the procedures were for and whether I really needed them. Turned out I didn't, they were just "recommended." So, I did manage to reduce the cost by a few hundred dollars but I'm sure many people don't ask those questions and pay for things that aren't 100% necessary.
The doctor returned a call to let me know the results of my dog's lab work on his growth prior to surgery and she spoke so fast and in terms I didn't understand. But, the more I asked for clarification and to repeat what she was saying, the more she seemed annoyed with each question (you should realize we aren't doctors).
I returned 3 more times (the morning of surgery when I had questions about the surgery but there was no doctor there, the afternoon I picked him up and today to have his sutures removed) and I never spoke or saw a veterinarian on any of those visits. It's hard to develop a relationship with a veterinarian when you go in 4 times and only meet the doctor for a few minutes on the 1st visit. And the front reception area is like Grand Central Station so that sometimes they overlook you also. And I really wanted to love this place! Maybe they've gotten too large since they moved out of their original location.

He has saved our dog from near death a few times words cannot describe how much it means to us! Thanks to Dr. Mike & all of his staff our precious pug is thriving and living a happy, healthy life! My experience with this vet group has always been positive. My dog can be a bit difficult to handle at times. The vets and techs are always patient with him and get any necessary treatments completed....
My experience with this vet group has always been positive. My dog can be a bit difficult to handle at times. The vets and techs are always patient with him and get any necessary treatments completed. The staff in the office are great and really work with my schedule to get him in. Any procedures that are recommended are always discussed with what alternative options may be.
Prices are reasonable, never feel pressured to do anything I'm not comfortable with.

If you want a compassionate caring vet with a great bedside manner accompanied by a staff that truly care THIS IS THE PLACE. Dr. Mike and his staff are incredible. He's taken Such excellent care of my fur babies for years. I've went in totally distraught and in tears and he and his staff comforted me and took care of my babies. I'd never dream of going anywhere else. He doesn't nickel and dime you, he explains what he feels is the proper road to take and gives you options. He's not after your money he just wants to see your pets healthy and happy. I absolutely love Dr. Mike I've referred to many to count and they've all been beyond impressed by his service and true compassion and love he has for all animals. I had been with another vet before Western Veterinary Group but was not really happy with the service, staff and doctors there. I think the only reason I stayed with them was because they were close to home.
A few years back when my son found a little baby Chi on the street, I was looking to get her spayed, we found Western Vet. Group ( I thought this was a good time to look for another Vet) My first visit, I instantly felt like it was "home" as the staff was so friendly and welcoming. You could tell this is a place that truly loves animals, and will treat your pet as if they were their own. Their rates are reasonable, fair and upfront. Their office is beautiful modern and clean. Dr. Mike is the most caring and compassionate person as well as being an extremely experienced and knowledgeable Vet. All the doctors there are excellent and the staff warm and friendly. Its been 7 years now we have been going to Western Vet Group and I could not be more pleased and satisfied. It continues to be the same well run caring office year after year. Im so grateful I found my fur babies a place that I trust for their care. Dr. Mike, Kristen, Tina, Maria, and the rest of the staff you are awesome! We have been taking our cat to Dr. Mike at Western Vet for many years. Our cat had a complicated heart condition and was given the best care by Dr. Mike and the staff. Unfortunately, we had to put him to sleep right after Christmas. Dr. Mike and the staff were so kind and compassionate throughout the whole situation. It made such a terrible situation a little better knowing that they really did care and were there for us. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking car of my Brody and of my family when we were grieving.

Dr. Mayer takes care of our older cat who is having health issues at 18. She has advised us to do what is best for our cat, even if that involves letting nature take its course. Having to put your pet to sleep is absolutely devastating but having it done in your pets home by a vet who truly cares made the whole process a lot smoother.... When one of our cats got sick the day before we had to go out of town, Dr. Yoo and his staff were there to make sure he got the best of care until we could return. Knowing that we were calling from out of the country, the vet would take our call immediately to give us an update on our cat's condition. The care and concern shown to us was a great relief as we couldn't be there.

Our dog was attacked by another dog and was left in pretty bad shape. WV gave him special treatment and helped get him back to 100%.

I have been taking my babies to Dr. Mike for almost 10 years. He is a wonderful vet who goes above and beyond for all his patients. He has a wonderful bedside manner and always has the time to answer any questions you might have. His support staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. It is very apparent that everyone at this clinic loves animals. I am so very thankful that our family found Dr. Mike. I would never consider going anywhere else. I would never hesitate to recommend them to all my friends and family.

This was my 1st time at Western Vet Group and I've heard and read many great things about it. So, because of that, I was very disappointed in my experience there.
I took my dog in for a growth on his belly and after examining my dog and taking him back for a few procedures, it was decided the growth needed to be removed and I was presented with a "treatment sheet with costs". I was a bit surprised at the cost so I started asking what a few of the procedures were for and whether I really needed them. Turned out I didn't, they were just "recommended." So, I did manage to reduce the cost by a few hundred dollars but I'm sure many people don't ask those questions and pay for things that aren't 100% necessary.
The doctor returned a call to let me know the results of my dog's lab work on his growth prior to surgery and she spoke so fast and in terms I didn't understand. But, the more I asked for clarification and to repeat what she was saying, the more she seemed annoyed with each question (you should realize we aren't doctors).
I returned 3 more times (the morning of surgery when I had questions about the surgery but there was no doctor there, the afternoon I picked him up and today to have his sutures removed) and I never spoke or saw a veterinarian on any of those visits. It's hard to develop a relationship with a veterinarian when you go in 4 times and only meet the doctor for a few minutes on the 1st visit. And the front reception area is like Grand Central Station so that sometimes they overlook you also. And I really wanted to love this place! Maybe they've gotten too large since they moved out of their original location.

My experience with this vet group has always been positive. My dog can be a bit difficult to handle at times. The vets and techs are always patient with him and get any necessary treatments completed....
My experience with this vet group has always been positive. My dog can be a bit difficult to handle at times. The vets and techs are always patient with him and get any necessary treatments completed. The staff in the office are great and really work with my schedule to get him in. Any procedures that are recommended are always discussed with what alternative options may be.
Prices are reasonable, never feel pressured to do anything I'm not comfortable with.

If you want a compassionate caring vet with a great bedside manner accompanied by a staff that truly care THIS IS THE PLACE. Dr. Mike and his staff are incredible. He's taken Such excellent care of my fur babies for years. I've went in totally distraught and in tears and he and his staff comforted me and took care of my babies. I'd never dream of going anywhere else. He doesn't nickel and dime you, he explains what he feels is the proper road to take and gives you options. He's not after your money he just wants to see your pets healthy and happy. I absolutely love Dr. Mike I've referred to many to count and they've all been beyond impressed by his service and true compassion and love he has for all animals. I had been with another vet before Western Veterinary Group but was not really happy with the service, staff and doctors there. I think the only reason I stayed with them was because they were close to home.
A few years back when my son found a little baby Chi on the street, I was looking to get her spayed, we found Western Vet. Group ( I thought this was a good time to look for another Vet) My first visit, I instantly felt like it was "home" as the staff was so friendly and welcoming. You could tell this is a place that truly loves animals, and will treat your pet as if they were their own. Their rates are reasonable, fair and upfront. Their office is beautiful modern and clean. Dr. Mike is the most caring and compassionate person as well as being an extremely experienced and knowledgeable Vet. All the doctors there are excellent and the staff warm and friendly. Its been 7 years now we have been going to Western Vet Group and I could not be more pleased and satisfied. It continues to be the same well run caring office year after year. Im so grateful I found my fur babies a place that I trust for their care. Dr. Mike, Kristen, Tina, Maria, and the rest of the staff you are awesome! We have been taking our cat to Dr. Mike at Western Vet for many years. Our cat had a complicated heart condition and was given the best care by Dr. Mike and the staff. Unfortunately, we had to put him to sleep right after Christmas. Dr. Mike and the staff were so kind and compassionate throughout the whole situation. It made such a terrible situation a little better knowing that they really did care and were there for us. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking car of my Brody and of my family when we were grieving.

Western Veterinary Group is the best! I've been dealing with a diabetic cat and Dr. Mike has treated us with respect and understanding through every step of this process. Dr. Mayer takes care of our older cat who is having health issues at 18. She has advised us to do what is best for our cat, even if that involves letting nature take its course. They deserve 10 stars!!

Having to put your pet to sleep is absolutely devastating but having it done in your pets home by a vet who truly cares made the whole process a lot smoother.... My best friend of 15 years and I could not ask for better service than what I got from Dr mike. The fact that you make house calls is absolutely amazing and I truly appreciate everything. When one of our cats got sick the day before we had to go out of town, Dr. Yoo and his staff were there to make sure he got the best of care until we could return. Knowing that we were calling from out of the country, the vet would take our call immediately to give us an update on our cat's condition. The care and concern shown to us was a great relief as we couldn't be there.
