So we have a couple of dogs in particular a papillon named Jerry. Jerry Garcia he is my little guy love to pieces almost died of starvation. Recently moved to Tracy CA from Loveland CO place we moved into already had three small dogs. Then all the sudden my father in-law took in a pitbull bringing the total to six dogs yes I know we are crazy love all them though. In a pack sometimes the weaker link will either give up there own food to the others or feel threatened and not eat eventually due. Which is what my papillon almost did. Thankfully we brought him to Jules vet clinic emergency situation. All I have to say and I may have already wrote a review but they impacted our family and fur babies still to this day. I just think about how much passion and care that clinic truly has. This place is not just about making money yes u have to have it to stay open. They truly care about their paitients and the family of the little furry paitients. Hands down the best in Tracy can would even put it up to the whole state. To your practice and all of your staff. Overall, I found the vets and staff very helpful and competent. The vets did a good job neutering a pet of mine. The staff are very friendly and responsive. My only caveat was that one of the vets saw this pet a couple times for an ear problem, yet despite the vet diagnoses, vet checkup, cleanings, and medication the ear problem persisted. Read Less

Very disappointed. Took my dog in and he had a broken toe. They put a full size cast on his leg and said I needed to replace it every week at $70+. When I went in for the first replacement it was done horribly and was moving around on him. I went back a couple of days later and they charged me again saying it was because I was not crating him, that he was chewing on it and was not wearing his cone. The doctor did not even come out to discuss this with me, she kept sending a lady from the front desk to talk to me. Although I didn't crate him, he never chewed the cast or touched it. It was put on badly and I just wanted it fixed free of charge. Also, the two times that I scheduled an appointment they told me I showed up at the wrong time. I was happy at the old location but I will never take my dog there again. By the way, the replacement cast lasted 3 weeks with absolutely no problems. We rescued a dog, not only have they been amazing at every single thing we've needed!! I was concerned this morning and called about something our new dog may have gotten into, and INTEGRITY stood in front as I was told that it may be nothing and if so what to look for!!!!! ANY other vet would have wanted the $, and I did call after to a diff vet and they were bring in 911!!! The biggest thing they were concerned about...making sure I have all his shots!!! I used to bring all my animals here. When they were new in Tracy, they offered great service and care for my pets. After their practice grew, I would have to wait every time I had an appointment and their fees increased. The writing was on the wall about their main motivation, $$$. The last straw for me was a stray cat with a bad eye that I was trying to help. I spent $300 for an exam and drops. This helped for a while but when he took a turn for the worse, the only solution was to remove the eye. They wanted $1500 and would not work with me on the fee. When the pound refused to accept him for euthanasia, I had to pay Jules another $120 when I came to them in tears about this poor suffering animal. They've lost the compassion for what they came into this profession for. It's only about money. Therefore, I now take my money elsewhere. Read Less

I truly adore the staff and Doctors here.... My cats normally see Dr. Olsen and she's amazing! My senior kitty Budlee also loves the girls here.... Every time I go in I'm always given an honest opinion and an estimate with details of what is recommended to be done. I myself being in the veterinary field for 12 years completely trust the staff and Doctors. They are a tiny bit higher priced.. however I'm a strong believer in "you get what you pay for". If you take your pets here you know your getting the best, modern, and detailed care!! Dr. Olsen has helped my senior kitty with his many diseases and he's doing fantastic!! I will continue to take my furry pets here to see Dr. Olsen. I'm super excited to see their new facility too!!! Dr. Atkins saw Lily on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment. The afternoon prior, Lily had been attacked by a German Shepherd as we walked to our mailbox. It's owner pulled it off, but he let go and it persued Lily into our front yard and tossed her into the air like a rag doll. I noticed blood coming from her butt that evening. The next day, she smelled like old blood and was listless. I didn't mention that Lily weighs 5 1/2 lbs. Dr Atkins examined and medicated for pain. She was afraid that the bite had punctured her colon. She referred her to Dr Frey in Stockton. He didn't know the extent of her injuries until he operated. She called Dr. Frey her butt man and said if her animal had the injury, this is the Dr. She would use. Lily had tearing of her pelvic floor muscles, her anal spinchter muscle was torn, missing her colon by 2 mm. Thank you Dr. Atkins for your swift triage of Lily and her instead juries and directing us to Dr. Frey. Lily had her stitches removed today. She is acting like herself again. They are the very best... They have always treated our dogs and us with kindness and respect. When Kona was suffering with cancer, Dr Valdez laid on the floor with her to administer the final shot, She was so kind and gentle with our old girl. Now, I wouldn't dream of any other vet taking care of our Sammi. They are our children, and Dr Valdez and her staff have always taken the time and effort to treat our pets as family. We were surprised one day when one of Dr. Valdez's staff saw Sammi at a fair and called Sammi out by name (mind you Sammi luckily hasn't had much need to go to the doctor other than normal shots and check ups). But she remembered our dog. So I would and do recommend Jules any chance I get. Read Less

I WOULD GIVE THEM A WORSE RATING IF I COULD! WE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! MY BEAUTIFUL CHIHUAHUA HAD AN INFECTION THAT WENT SEPTIC AND THEY TOLD ME SHE WOULD DIE WITHIN 24 HRS IF NOT GIVEN OPERATION. I OF COURSE AGREED BUT THEN THEY WANTED $4000 UP FRONT! THEY TOLD ME I HAD AN HOUR TO GET THE MONEY OR ELSE THEY WOULDN'T DO IT BECAUSE IT WAS A FRIDAY. AFTER A HALF HOUR OF SCRAMBLING FOR CASH THEY AGREED TO HALF UP FRONT AND REMAINDER WHEN DISCHARGED (ALL THE WHILE SHE WAS DYING!) I GOT THE MONEY TOGETHER AND AT THE LAST MINUTE THEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS AND WANTED IT ALL UP FRONT!!! I CALLED THE ANIMAL CLINIC IN MANTECA WHO DID THE SAME OPERATION FOR $1600. THE ANIMAL CLINIC WAS APPALLED AT THEIR FEES! TO TOP IT ALL OFF, WHEN I TRIED TO GET MY DOG TO TRANSFER HER, THEY CHARGED ME $250 FOR DOING NOTHING AND WOULDN'T RELEASE HER UNTIL I GAVE IT!!! KEEP IN MIND, EVERY MINUTE SHE WAS NOT IN SURGERY, HER ODDS OF SURVIVAL WERE WORSENING. MY 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS IN TEARS (AS WAS I) AND THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!! THEY ARE SO AWFUL. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS $$$ AND THEY ARE HEARTLESS! THEY ACTUALLY SENT ME A BILL AND CALLED ME SAYING I OWE THEM $20 MORE! (WHICH I ENDED UP JUST PAYING) I WAS NOT A WALK IN OR NEW CLIENT. THEY HAD BEEN OUR VET FOR A WHILE BUT WE NEVER HAD ANY SICK PETS BEFORE THIS INCIDENT. IT WASN'T LIKE THEY DIDN'T KNOW US OR WE HADN'T ESTABLISHED A BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP. JULES OFFICE SPACE IS A NICE ONE, CLEAN AND IN A GOOD LOCATION... BUT DO NOT LET LOOKS DECEIVE YOU! THE PEOPLE ARE NOT GOOD AND ARE IN THE WRONG BUSINESS. DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED, THE ANIMAL CLINIC IS A SHABBY RUN DOWN BUILDING WITH WONDERFUL STAFF. THAT'S USUALLY HOW IT WORKS THOUGH. IF YOU ARE IN IT FOR THE RIGHT REASONS, YOU USUALLY DON'T MAKE AS MUCH $$ BUT YOU DO WHAT YOU LOVE...SAVE LIVES!!! I bought a cat from a local shelter. With in a few days his feet and mouth were all swollen and red and his breath smelled really bad. I took him to another vet here in town, the vet was rude and seemed to not care about the well fair of my animal. I decided to take my cat to Jules. This was the best decision I could have made.
