I must say that Critter Care is the best Veteranary clinic in the Truckee and all surrounding areas. I have been saved by the bell from their help many times. They provide extensive explanations on their treatment and are very reliable and so helpful. At one point, I had 4 dogs living in my condo, which was insane, but they certaintly made it work. Without any doubt, our experience with Bruce Hartzell, DVM was the single worst experience with any service related business during our 20+ years of living in Tahoe!His arrogance, conceit and lack of professional attention leads me to only one conclusion:This guy sucks and doesn't deserve your business!

If you are in Tahoe and need a vet call CritterCare. If you own a second home in Tahoe, make an appointment so you can meet the vet- Bruce (and his assistant/wife Cindy). Meet Bruce before you need him so he is familiar with your animals "normal." He comes to your house- no need to find his office or stress out your pet. Bruce has been an amazing vet, counseling me through tough choices. Even acting as a second opinion when we had an emergency in the Bay Area. Wish I could give him 10 stars.

I must say that Critter Care is the best Veteranary clinic in the Truckee and all surrounding areas. I have been saved by the bell from their help many times. They provide extensive explanations on their treatment and are very reliable and so helpful. At one point, I had 4 dogs living in my condo, which was insane, but they certaintly made it work.
