Made the mistake of taking our dog here over a two year period. Vets were rude and, as we found out later, mishandled our dog to the point where she now has a fear of the vet office. Office made promises that it did not keep. Help up front is nice but clueless. This office does not know what to do with dogs with special issues. Very traditional, old school solutions offered. If you do not accept what they say, they treat you like an animal abuser. I made the mistake of taking the word of another Turlock "good ol boy" that this vet was good. One star is for the horrible experience we had at this clinic. Took our pregnant English Bulldog in to be seen. Never been there before yesterday's visit and will NEVER again go there. It was such an awful, unpleasant visit that we left in the middle of the visit. Dr Larsen was rude, unprofessional, demeaning, and disrespectful. He spoke to us like we were uneducated fools. His body language was humiliating. He rolled his eyes (not once but a few times) while speaking to us. He looked at us like how could we afford our English Bulldog and treated us like we were dirt poor telling us to save whatever money we had for our dog's c-section and not waste it on some xrays because xrays cost a hefty amount as well. We know what we're doing and the cost it all entails. Just wanted to get our dog checked up. Taking our business somewhere else where we are welcomed. We just had to put down our beloved dog Gretel of 15 years. She had collapsed in our front yard and could not get up. We called our regular vet clinic which was Taylor Veterinarian Hospital and they simply told us to muzzle and bring her in even though she was in excruciating pain and we could not touch her. In desperation I began calling one vet after another. I finally found Dr. GARY BAKER who was the most compassionate and caring person. He even made a house call because he understood our dog was in pain and just like a family member. Both he and his wife cried along with us and empathized with our situation.
