I called Angels Care in need of an appointment asap due to a wound my chihuahua developed that was really bad from scratching so much i was so happy they squeeze him in last minute so he can be checked. Once i arrived the staff was very nice and they attended to my baby right away. They took really good care of him and right away he was feeling a relief from hes pain. They gave him antibiotics and bandaged him up and i will be going at the end of the week to see how he is healing. I came back to Dr. Hah after 13 years, I was surprised he remembered me right away, and greeted me with a warm hug, this time I brought a new puppy (Eevee) for neutering, but he was born with a retained testicle, right away Dr. Hah found the testicle inside just by touching and scheduled for neutering, like anyone who loves their furry family member I was worried about the procedure, but then again I was very confident on Dr. Hah's knowledge and experience, they called me as soon as the procedure was done to let me know everything went well, everyone at the office is very friendly and treat every patient with lots of love, I thank GOD, for the life of Dr. Hah. My Pomeranian puppy became very sick and I rushed him to Angels Care Hospital and they treated him so nicely my dog didn't become scared while being there, and the staff was really welcoming as well. Our dog required some emergency medical attention due to a bleeding tumor this past weekend and Dr. Bill and his staff where there, very caring to both our pet and us, and provided care and comfort. The doctor stopped the bleeding, performed required tests and explained options along with recommendations. We adopted 2 Maltese Poodles, our runt of the litter, Pepper (3years old) passed away. We came home from lunch one day and Pepper was on the floor unable to move. I can tell he's in pain but we had no idea what is wrong. Just earlier that morning he was still fine. Our dogs are our children. They stay indoor at ALL TIMES. Only go out side to potty. So it just doesn't make sense how Pepper is hurt like thatSo my husband dropped all of his schedule and took him to another clinic that a friend recommended. After blood test and x-ray, the Vet found nothing wrong with Pepper and she suggested we take Pepper to get brain scan which will cost thousands. After not able to give us any answer she then told my husband the price, and then at front desk they want to charge him another price. Zero compassion to Pepper pain. I wouldn't mind paying for service if we can get some answer. Meanwhile our poor little boy was still in pain. Fast forward past this horrible experience. We took Pepper to dr Hah and just with simple examination dr Hah suggested it may be spinal injury. He prescribed some pain and anti inflammatory medications. He thoroughly explained to my husband that it will take a miracle for Pepper to recover. So the following 2 days Pepper laid paralyzed in my bed shaking and quivering while I convince my husband it's kinder to let him go. We then brought Pepper back and Dr Hah put Pepper to sleep. after talking us through and suggested if we were ok with it, Dr would like to perform autopsy to learn what was wrong and free of charge. That action tells me he cares for his future patient pets because there is really no other way to confirm. $270 later we lay Pepper to rest and taking his ashes home with us today. Pepper had spinal problems which I don't remember all medical terms but according to the Dr. It's just something that Pepper had and nothing or anyone did anything to cause it. I still tear up writing this review but I want other pets owners to know how compassionate Dr was to us as well as to our Pepper. We received a sympathy card signed by the staffs as well as Dr that our Pepper is in a place call Rainbow Bridge ! Read Less

Unbelievable care and compassion by Dr. Hah and his staff was shown to us at Angels Care. I never really take the time to Yelp but I must in this case. We could not get our doggie into his regular vet and when we called Dr. Hah, I was told to bring him in right away, they would take care of him - and they did a wonderful job. If you love your pet as much as I do, don't hesitate calling them - even after each visit to his office, we received a phone call not from the office, but from the doctor checking on our little guy!!!! My dog had an accident in our yard and needed emergency surgery. Her normal Dr didn't have time and turned us away. Came in here and they treated me like I was a regular and took care of my baby. I have been taking my dog to Angel's Care Hospital since he was a puppy - 15 years ago! So when he developed a tumor on his face and it needed to be removed I took him there. One of my dogs has a severe skin allergy. We had been to a few other vets but without any progress and we were almost to the point of accepting our Seven would suffer with daily discomfort and pain. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by concern and care from Dr Hah and all the staff. After the initial assessment and treatment plan, I am so thankful to report that Seven has had a miraculous turn around. Although Dr Hah has advised this will be a long process, our dog is already getting much better. Her rough and damaged skin is starting to heal and she is getting back some energy and much less itching than before. Our other dog Blue had a milder case of allergies and completely recovered within days of treatment. I took my dog there with and absess or bee sting on his leg. They checked his weight, took his temperature which hurt him, took a biopsy with a needle from his leg which hurt him, showed me the bacteria on a microscope, gave him a pain shot, a antibiotic shot, gave me some antibiotics, send me home with some solution and some gause for me to treat his sore. Charged me 303.00. Any other vet would have treated the absess. I won't go back. Read Less

Our little family member became really ill after eating something from the yard. It could be very well that our neighbor tried to poison him. When we took him to this place, they told us that he had a very bad internal infection from what he ate and said that he had 50/50 chance of surviving. This place took very good care of our family member and made him well within 3 days.We have been coming to this place since 2007 with our first pet. I love this place. I got my dog spay here and they were very kind and informative. They suggest Pre-op chemistry profile and urinalysis. At first I did not think it was necessary, after talking to the doctor I decided to do the testing. I'm so glad they found that she had urinary crystals. Ill start by saying that I couldnt have asked for a more professional and caring veterinarian than Dr. James Choi and I found the office staff to be very friendly and helpful. My nine-year old Golden Retriever/Chow mix was having trouble keeping her food down so Dr. Choi suggested an x-ray and Im so thankful that I followed his advice. It turned out that my otherwise very healthy, happy dog had a large abdominal tumor. As most dog-owners will understand, I was shocked and extremely worried that I would lose my very best friend. Fearing that it might be a malignancy and/or rupture, Dr. Choi recommended surgery asap. The surgery took ~3 hours and Dr. Choi contacted me as soon as it was over with the good news that surgery went well, but pathology was still pending. A couple days later I received the extremely good news that the pathology was negative. Now that shes two weeks post-op, my pup is the picture of health eating more than ever and full of energy. This was my first visit to Angels Care Pet Hospital, but it wont be my last. Hopefully, future visits will be for routine care only and yearly check-ups. Read Less

Angels Care Animal Hospital has the latest State-Of-The-Art equipment and an In-House laboratory. Dr., Hah discovered the problem. I knew I had found a Veterinarian that is excellent with animals. He has the equipment and expertise to serve all my needs, in addition the cost was reasonable. My cat, thanks to Dr. Hah lived to be 21 years old. I now live in Apple Valley, but still return to Angels Care in Upland for all my Veterinary needs. I recently took in a shelter kitten and the first thing I did was to call Dr. Hah, and take the kitten to him for evaluation and shots. I am pleased to recommend Angels Care Animal Hospital and R. As far as I know, and I have been a patron of this establishment for many years, most of the above mentioned is, in fact, true. Sadly, but, I can attest that the Dr. has never been unsavory to any animal in my presence. (And due to my dog's chronic illness, I am in there frequently for drug refills, blood work, etc.). True, the staff is put under quite a bit of stress and some verball harrassing from the Dr., but I have witnessed him be very kind and helpful to them, as well. As for the board situation, I can believe that id true because the hospital has has some major renovations done. (There shouldn't be a star selected. I was forced to at least pick one.) As soon as you walk into the hospital you are hit with an undescribable aroma. If you made it that far then you will notice the mess and dirt that is through out the hospital. Continuing on... now your pet is in the devil's hands and being examined. That part isn't too bad. The only comment to be said is that the doctor has no manners. EVERYTHING happens in the back... expired medications/ vaccines/ and surgical equipment, dirty surgical room, uneducated staff, dog with infectious parvo being kept with healthy animlas, IV fluids are used for multiple patients, "single use" scalpel blades and syringes are used multiple times, both mentally and physically abussive to staff ( if someone can be so openly mean to another human only imagine what that same person can be capable of to an animal), medications not properly stored, animal testing that was performed without the owners consent, I think you get the point. If it's the wrong way it's probably being practiced here. Not to mention he was FINALLY reported to the Veterinary Medical Board and the situation is still pending!!! Read Less
