I came in tonight because my dog ate something that was making her extremely sick. The one receptionist that checked me in was very friendly and polite. The other receptionist was a complete useless fool. I sat there for two hours before finally asking how much longer it would be and was given yet another unsure answer. About six different couples came in and were seen because my dog wasn't considered a "emergency priority". At that point my dog seemed to have perked up and I decided to take her home for the night. I will be monitoring her till morning and will take her somewhere else if her sickness continues. If you want to sit in the waiting room for two hours, be ignored, and have your animal suffer in this neglectful vet clinic then this is the place for you. Negative stars sums up this dump! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! It's the worst place they take advantage of people in a desperate situation. We are wanting them to remove the stitches from the surgery that we payed over 2000 dollars for and they say your going to have to wait 2 to 4 hours no way to make an appointment. Just to get her drainage tubes it took almost three hours to be seen mind you we had already PAID FOR THE SERVICE. Calling to arrange an appointment they said " don't you have your own vet" absolute dispicable people. And while we were waiting for all those hours we heard them tell people the SAME story before seeing there animal "this visit will be 500 to 750 dollarsc" they take advantage take of people o matter how desperate you are don't go here Read Less

The staff was very caring and gentle, and the doctor was thorough with his explanation regarding the wounds my Tiny had after the accident. I thank the staff for their great work, I was so distraught I forgot to take his collar home. He had to be put to sleep because he was suffering to much and wasn't going to make it. I called back the next day and they said they would have his collar ready for pick up. I don't live so close and it took a couple of days to get the collar, but they welcomed me with a smile and gave me his collar right away. Late friday night august 18, 2017 our little pomeranian we've had for nearly 15 years started chocking (we thot), my father and i rubbed her throat, petted her, got her to rekax and she calmed down in abt 15 minutes or so.....when it got to be bedtime, i carried her into bed, because she was resting well.....she coughed a couple of times, i thot perhaps she'd scratched her little throat when she was choking.....Abt 3:30 am (saturday morning) she started coughing and gasping for air...i called a couple of 24 hour vets who were local who explained our visit was in a first come first served basis....we called our reg veteranarian and their answering service tokd us to go to Inland Valley....when we arrived they took our sweet angel back, hooked her up to oxygen and inserted an iv....unbeknownst to us she was in full cardiac arrest.....Dr Zamora and her team took such excellent care of our sweet angel, explained her conditions after they made her relatively comfortable....The Dr and her staff provided us with time to say goodbye to our furbaby who we tremendously miss already and our hearts are obviously broken in our great loss....Our sweet fur baby's mean the world to all of us and i will attest you, you will not be unhappy with their services and extreme love for your sweetheart!!!!Thank you so very much for helping my dad and i provide the greatest amt of love, respect etc....to our sweet angel Snuggles - we know she wont suffer anymore, we know we as well as our angel snuggles were treated with much love and respect in our time of heartbreak!!Thank you Dr Zamora and your wonderful kind, loving staff!!Pricing was excellent....we would have paid anything to not see our sweet love suffer.....they gave us an appropriate estimate and didnt add anything extra when we had to make the sad decision to let her go.....Thank you again for all of the love, compassion, respect you showed all of us!! be very careful when taking your pet here. they consistently tell customers they can't find what is wrong with their pet until you rack up a bill around 3000 bucks. know this from personal experience and speaking with other customers . and the animal in question in the specific instance I'm talking about was vomiting blood... definitely not nothing to find. just be cautious and aware. They are great!! A little pricy at times but they know if you want to help your animal.youll find a way to do it.  Doctors are absolutely fantastic. Front staff really good but a bit slow in getting you in. I think that's more on techinixabs than anything else. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, If I can give a zero review I would.  This place does not love animals... they love MONEY!  and will let a pet die before your eyes until you whip out a credit card.  I took my 4 month old puppy there after only 1 month that we owned her.  Thirty minutes after eating a small can of puppy food she started trembling, could not walk and had lost of control of her head.  We took the puppy there around 11 pm and after explaining to the vet in detail he told us he had "no Idea" of the problem.... GIVE ME A BREAK.  Anyone, that has been doing any profession for a period of time... has an idea.  It does not matter if your a plumber, a lawyer, a vet or a mechanic.... if you do something for many years... you know exactly what the problem is just by looking at it...  After spending 30 minutes going over this HUGE LIST OF TESTS THAT SHOULD BE PERFORMED... the puppies eyes rolled back into her head.. she was on deaths door.  And the vet calmly said.... I WAS NICKLE DIMMING THE DOG AND THAT SHE WAS GOING TO DIE.... I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW CALM HE WAS,, AND TOTALLY READY TO LET THE PUPPY DIE.  Finally I submitted,,, and only AFTER CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD MORE THEN $1000 DID THEY TAKE IN THE DOG.  The dog spent one night and $1080... and the vet had the nerve to say... AFTER ALL THAT MONEY,,, IT WOULD TAKE AT LEAST ANOTHER $1000 TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS... FOR ALL HE KNOW IT COULD BE SOMETHING KIDNEY RELATED.DO NOT GO THERE.... TERRIBLE PLACE. Read Less

I took my bulldog in last night thinking it would be the last time I saw her. She was suffering from heat exhaustion after getting out accidentally. When I found her she was barely breathing and her tongue was blue. I called on my way to inland valley and they were ready when we walked in the door with oxygen and took her straight in. As I waited in the room the dr was stabilizing her breathing and I went home waiting for a call. The dr called me around midnight to give me an update and someone kept in contact with me until she was stable. I feel like despite the bad situation, I had a great experience! The staff was great and loving and understood how important my baby is to me. I wish I could give more than 5 stars and I also wish I could bring my dog here as her regular vet. Thank you!!!! I cannot thank this hospital enough. They took such great care of my 6 month old pit bull. Everyone was extremely friendly and gave both of my pups the attention they love to get. The location is very clean and they answered every single question I had. I hope I don't have to go back but if I do I know my dogs will be in the best hands. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!I took my dog in at 10pm because he couldn't move. The doctor told me he needed an emergency surgery and was going to charge me $3,500. I had no way to pay for this so I asked him for alternatives and he gave me none. HE EVEN REFUSED TO GIVE ME BACK MY DOG!!! He finally gave me the dog back and threatened to call animal services if I took him out of the office. He didn't even try to give me a discount just so he could save the dog. I ended up taking him somewhere else the next day and they were able to give me a much better price and even waited 2 days to do the surgery (meaning it was not an emergency). The next day animal services showed up at my door!!!!! This guys is a SCAMMER! Money maker!And makes you feel guilty! Don't go there! If I could give them no stars I would. Came in on 7-2 with my cat in so much pain. We had no idea the cause as we couldn't touch him. So the dr recommended sedation & xray. Also needed to do blood work to do the sedation, We agreed. The dr then proceeded to tell us that she could not find anything wrong other than swollen lymph nodes. Recommended we let them have him overnight to run more tests. Unable to afford an overnight stay I asked what kind of tests. Wanted more blood work because she was concerned for lymphoma. Crying & scared I get sent to the waiting area as they became busy. An hour later I get asked to pay my bill & handed a copy of his blood work & xrays. I sat there confused.. told her I'm waiting to find out if my cat has cancer. The girl says well I'm sure he doesn't if they're sending you home with pain meds and antibiotics. I had to insist to talk to the vet to find out what was going on. That night while in pain meds my cat let me touch him. I found a lump & being they gave him fluids while sedated I thought it was that. 2 days later my cat has an open wound in his back. If the dr had done the examination while he was sedated she would have seen the bump & determined the issue before rupturing. I spent $700, feel as though they treated me badly & possibly did test that were unnecessary & didn't actually examine my pet. Beware Read Less

Brought my very sick cat (Dewey) in to be treated for severe breathing problems and rapid weight loss. I'd taken him to a previous vet where we ran multiple tests and tried many drugs to bring him back to normal, but to no avail. It was time for emergency services. Unfortunately, my furry buddy was in critical condition now and the prognosis was ultimately terminal. With the information they gave me for our situation in order to keep him going for a few extra months, I decided to put him to sleep. They were very gentle and caring through the entire situation, and allowed me to stay with him until the end. There are not enough words of thanks or appreciation that can be expressed to this very special team of veterinary professionals.  Six months ago our boy Chase was diagnosed with cancer. During our first consult with Dr. Tansey she put all our options on the table. While we committed to not let Chase suffer a minute we felt confident that chemo was the right path to go down since we were not ready to let him go!  There was a super scary week in the beginning where we questioned our decision but Dr. Tansey assured us that he would turn the corner and would rebound. Honestly I had my doubts - he lost over 25% of his body weight  he was just so sick. But she was right under their care he rebounded quick and responded well for the rest of his treatments. Dr. Tansey and Melissa walked this journey with us week after every other week of chemo. Today I'm happy to say Chase is finished with his chemo, he is in full remission and we look forward to lots more time with him.  They are truly a blessing and we can't thank them enough. Chase will miss his extra treats and all the love from his girlfriend Melissa and Dr. T.  This office is filled with very special people who have more love and compassion than I've ever seen!  If you have a pet that needs care this is the place you MUST go!! This place does a great job of milking your bank account and taking advantage of people when they can. My son brought my dog here for an ultrasound and they changed him $3700!  The dog had nothing wrong with him, all the tests came back negative. They wanted to keep him overnight but I refused and took him home. I demanded a refund but they ended up still charging me $1300 for an ultrasound and some tests I never saw the results for.  I think it's clear their priority is profit. Read Less

First time bringing my 5 month old puppy to this location. Had mixed feelings after reading the reviews but had to bring him in emergently after hours, so my choices were limited. I did notice that all of the negative reviews I read pertained to money, so I took that into consideration. I know that vet care is inherently expensive and no one wants to see their loved one reduced to financial decisions, especially during stressful circumstances. Having said that, I would like to share my own personal experience here:I will start by saying that I am a registered nurse for humans, with an emergency room background. The receptionist was pretty short and to the point, I can see why some folks would consider this uncaring. However, shortly after checking in I encountered a warm reception by the triage nurse. She communicated with me and my dog in a caring manner. At the end of her initial assessment and information intake, she did inform me of the exam fee. We were into a room within 15 minutes, no others were waiting ahead of us. We were first seen by vet student who introduced herself as such, she also had a very caring and warm demeanor. Every vet has to start somewhere, so I considered her exam totally acceptable.The second to see us was the vet Dr. Magallanes. She discussed potential diagnoses and the options for ruling out what we thought could be a bowel obstruction. She ordered all the essential necessary things, I say essential because I know that she could have ordered more but she thought that these initial orders could give us a basic idea of what was going on.  X-rays to visualize the bowels, and labs to check his electrolytes due to his vomiting. I knew this would determine whether or not he was well enough to be sent home with me rather than staying overnight to replenish any electrolytes that could have been dangerously low. Within another 15 minutes I was Informed of the results and the Dr. presented me with a variety of options, from the aggressive to the more conservative. I was able to ask her questions about our options, and I was able to make an informed decision based on the information she provided. This conversation was  immediately followed by price disclosure for the agreed upon treatments. These were appropriately presented by the same triage nurse that first greeted us. I can understand why some of the negative reviews may have perceived this process as "only caring about the money" but the reality of animal medicine is that, like human medicine, it is costly. But unlike human medicine, most of the time folks have to pay out of pocket for their pets so it's important to know what you can afford and can't. That's the unfortunate reality of it. My sweet baby was treated and discharged home with me shortly there after with appropriate after care instructions and recommendations for follow up. I would say that the whole visit took about 1.5 hours. Based on my experience, I would say that we were treated warmly and appropriately. And the prices charged for treatment were competitively reasonable. Based on my experience, I WOULD recommend this place. Thank you. Read Less

I took my cat due to an upper presumed respiratory infection.  He was seen by his regular vet the day prior but was still rather lethargic and I was concerned.  First the wait was unacceptable but what made it worse was the attitude of some of the staff.  My cat is my family but some of the staff's attitude made it clear that the clinic is solely concerned with making money not the emergent care of family members.  I'm a physician and there was a strong suggestion that my pet needed antibiotics and perhaps another anti-inflammatory injection based on his symptoms.  Yet I was told that it could be pneumonia or kidney trouble and an xray and labs were strongly advised.  I could have walked out but they know that those of us who are desperately in search of an after hours vet will pay whatever we need to for our pet.  So $68 turned into almost $600 after a 4 hour, mind numbing wait.I will never bring another pet here and I recommend that others think very carefully before visiting this hospital.  Making money rather than providing compassionate and truly emergent care is the motivation of this clinic.  It breaks my heart that they are capitalizing on people's pain, desperation, and panic. My baby was having seizures. Brought her here and every single person was so nice. The receptionist, the tech and the doctor made me feel like they cared and knew how upset I was feeling. The doctor talked with me on a few occasions and explained everything. I didn't feel like she was rushing me out. She answered all my questions and some. I felt secure knowing my baby had to stay overnight. I love knowing I have such a great place to take my fur babies to in case of an emergency. Thank you all at this pet clinic. We waited 2 hours in waiting room but they took our dog who was bleeding bad from a large laceration on his foot to the back. Then they called us and put us in a room for about 30 mins then the doctor came in told us he needed to be sedated, stitches and antibiotics and said someone else would be in to give us price. We waited another 20 mins no one ever came in so we went back to waiting room then the girl comes out with a $1,500 bill we were shocked and she was rude as hell. Then they come out again and cut the bill almost in half. They wanted us to spend $200 just for antibiotics and would not prescribe something more reasonable. We called 5 hours later Dog had still not had his stitches he had to wait over 6 hours. I found the place to be very unprofessional way over priced and a very rude staff. The next morning when we picked him up the girl was nice. I would never take my pets there again. Two people came in to put their dogs down and they had to wait crying for.them to call them back very sad.Read Less

These people are SHADY SHADY SHADY.   Our pup was acting very wrong and in panic, we brought him to IVVSEC as they are open 24 hours.  Well, thats the end of the positives of this place.   First, they state the dog had ingested something, but never did an xray.  They sedated him and kept him over night, but why would you sedate an animal who may have ingested something???  They said he needed to stay the night and quoted $1200.  When we stated we didn't have that kind of money, they came back with a $648 quote.  I was in a panic and so we left him there to be cared for.When we called the next day to say we'd be picking him, they tried to say that I couldn't and that they were going to sedate him,keep him another night and it would be another $648.  I said don't do that, I'm coming to get him.  Once we arrived to pick up our little guy, they said that will be another $800+ dollars and we said we don't have that kind of money and they acted like they were not going to give me the dog.   We stated we had an appt at our regular vet and they made us sign something before they would give me my dog.   He was VERY sedated and out of it even though we had told them that we would be picking him up!When we took him to my vet they said he was fine, his heart sounded great and he was fine, he just needed the sedation to wear off so he wouldn't be so groggy.  They said they would hang on to him for the day so he has a place to be while we're at work and she was going to review the reports from the other vet and will discuss with us when we pick him up after work.Inland Valley was not a caring environment, they seem only to care about dollar signs and I am appalled that they kept our dog sedated when he should not have been.  Even though they were told at the very beginning of the visit that I didn't have that much money and that I wanted to pick him up the next day, they continued to try to keep him longer and kept him sedated while he was there... this is a serious concern and I cannot recommend anyone leave their dog with these people.  It feels very unsafe and shady.STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! I have had nothing but compassion from this office. I first had to use them when my cat had a UTI and it just seemed $$ even though they were nice. When that same cat had dental work at another vet, and they perforated his body wall, this was where the other vet took the emergency. They kept him on life support for three days until he succumbed. They cut my bill. They held our hands. A year later when we were finally ready, we got a kitten. There was an accident and the kitten was injured. They remembered us and helped us find options besides cutting the arm off or euthanasia that we could afford. That little guy is now three and is the light of my son's life. They are expensive but they will work with you. If there is an emergency, they are who you want. Read Less

My Foxy girl broke her nail pretty bad. I didnt know what to do so i went into a panic. We looked up vets around the area and this one popped out since it was so early in the morning. They took us in right away. The vet tech informed me of what they're going to do to fix her paw. The vet then came out and informed me as well. Everyone was friendly and they helped my pet as soon as possible. I truly appreciate their care for my baby. This place is definitely the best. Also, I'm not sure if I should say this but I was not charged for anything at all not even the consultation which is automatically $68. This truly showed me that they are in it for the well-being of our pets and not in it for the money. Read Less

I took my dog smokey to emergency, I thought he might of hurt his back lags and was in pain . Turned out someone trid poisoning my dog with drugs. The staff was really nice I only had 100$ on me and to do test and Iv it would of came out to almost 300$ they did it all for 100. This is emergency care as it should be!!!! I called this facility after we took our 14 year old dog to 2 emergency clinics who could not handle his emergency. I explained to the receptionist that he was 14 years old chiweenie had a history of heart failure,stage 5 murmur, and collapsed trachea. That he had a cardiac episode and was in atrial sinus tachycardia and NO ONE we had gone too could help him even when we had called and the reception swore they could stabilize him. There was no emergency cardiologist available. We were helpless. She went and talked to her vet staff they gave us their address and everyone was ready for him Normal heart rate restored,labs done to see what organ damage was done. His kidneys are now struggling. But this vet basically saved him. They were prompt, compassionate, explained everything,gave lots of options and support. If you are in need of veterinary treatment for your pet here is where you go. Their vets are AMAZING and competent and should be recognized for their SKILLS!!!! As a vet tech I have a really hard time with what we went through and your facility was there for us. All of you. I took my dog in for a fractured nail. My vet's office was closed and it was the weekend. However, I didn't wait very long, even though they were quite busy. The vet, Dr. Montoya, spent time with me and my dog, explained the procedure, and then came out to speak to me before I left. When a family member is critical and on the verge of dying, you really need people that are on your side and will do the best that they can to help your loved one get through it. The staff at IVVS did this and more. Not only for my precious baby Gorda, but they got me through it as well. Dr Patlogar went above and beyond for Gorda after she was diagnosed with Pyometria. She needed emergency surgery and with Gorda's age and heart condition it was a big risk to let him do it. I firmly BELIEVE that she pulled through it because of the  skill and care of the Dr and staff at IVVS.These people are truly angels on Earth that really do love your animals. The compassion and care is everywhere. I encourage anyone who loves their pets and wants the best care for them to go to IVVS. RUN from this place they KILLED my dog. The owner told me that the doctor that treated my dog was going to be fired but they had to wait till his contract was up. so even though they knew he was a horrible doctor they let him treat my dog. I will never get over the loss of my dog and what makes it harder is that it came down o money and paperwork on there end. Read Less

I was so lucky to find this place! They saved my bird's life. A few days ago, my parakeet, Chipper suddenly became very sick. She was throwing up and was very lethargic. She had her feathers puffed up and kept closing her eyes. And then I noticed that she hadn't eaten any of her seeds that day, so I knew something was seriously wrong. It was on a Sunday, and the vet where I usually take Chipper was closed. I was panicking. But on their answering machine, they recommended this animal hospital in case of an emergency. Thank God they are open 24 hours! If a bird is sick, they can get worse very quickly and die if they don't get prompt treatment. I was able to bring Chipper in, and they gave her fluids and antibiotics. They weren't sure exactly what caused Chipper to get sick, but they stabilized her and I definitely believe that they saved her life. The doctor and staff were all very friendly and they explained everything clearly. I can tell the doctor really cares about animals. The other thing that really impressed me is that they actually faxed Chipper's records to her regular vet to let them know what happened. I normally take Chipper to Chaparral Pet Hospital, and so Inland Valley faxed the doctor's notes to them. They did that on their own. I thought that was really nice of them to go the extra mile like that. I took Chipper to the regular vet the next day for a follow up. She is starting to get better now. She's not quite back to normal yet, but she is improving, and is eating again and starting to be more active. Thank God for this place! They saved my little birdie's life! Read Less

These guys but (one) were awful. I took my dog there and while she was dying i heard them down the hall laughing while my poor baby was dying (i didn't know it at the time). Every short while they would come the room we were in and pressed us for our financial decision. They had no compassion. I was trying to get my dog the help needed and after many attempts to try to lower the expenses to get her help failed. They don't care to help, they just want your money. I tried calling friends and family (late at nite) to get her the help, and yet they refused to give her surgery explaining that we had stable jobs and would pay them in two days. Being emotional, to no avail, i decided to take my baby home. They made me sign a release saying that i refused to euthanize and help treat my dog. I was so mad, i question why they had to word it like that. After all i wasn't trying to Kill "euthanize" my dog. I even told them that how the document was worded wasn't fair and i don't agree with it but i would sign. I just wanted to leave a.s.a.p. bring my dog home (and I KNOW MY DOG DID NOT WANT TO STAY THERE. She looked so scared. When i came home i made all necessary efforts to get finances from friends and made several calls in hopes that i would get her help AND I DID. Sad to say, all other vets were closed at the time and my poor baby died. then they had the odacity to call Human Services on me saying that i refused to get her the proper treatment. I was like are you guys for real??? it was their refussal of working with us that refused us from getting her the help. Anyway, i had a very awful experience and glad they didn't stick me with a couple of thousand dollars. I didn't need that reminded anyway. This is not a compassionate place for pets and their owners. The staff here is incredible. About two weeks ago my family had to unfortunately put down our beautiful labrador retriever of 11 years. He was suffering from arthritis, cancer, and could barely walk or breathe. It was such a difficult decision and time however the staff here made this experience very comforting to my family and I. The amount of compassion and care that they demonstrated before, during, and after he was euthanized was comforting to us. They made the billing as easy as possible, it was affordable, and the vet showed an enormous amount of care and support for us and our lab. She explained the procedure and we were given a private moment to say goodbye to our beloved Buddy. In no way were we rushed, and when the time came for the procedure, we were all able to be present in the room. We will always be grateful to this clinic for handling the situation professionally, with love and compassion. Read Less

Had our Shepard put down yesterday. It was the most peaceful and caring experience for both my family and our dog. They are good people. The cost was very reasonable when compared to other facilities in the area. RIP Bear..Read Less
