Called around first thing this morning, due to a ruptured and bleeding access, to six different offices and was turned down for an urgent appointment. As soon as I called here they said I could come in right then. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have been able to get my dog seen until much later. She got seen and got antibiotics within an hour. We visited Family Pet Hospital while in town for the day and unable to get into our own vet on a Saturday. We noticed a Ringworm on our pup and needed to get seen immediately. They were able to squeeze us in on a very busy Saturday (I called every Banfield Hospital in the N. Cal area and NO one had an opening).The Dr. was so patient and kind with our Pup even though I was a panicked pet parent. He was able to do a culture and follow up with us by phone exactly when he promised. He was very accommodating even though we were unable to get back to his office to get the meds - and helped us send the RX to our local Costco as well as buying a lyme sulfur dip on Amazon. He fielded like 10 phone calls from me even though he knew we were a one time customer, and he was so nice and patient. If we are in Vacaville again, we absolutely will be in for a visit. Thank you :)

They went through all the steps with us to figure out the exact allergy and the best way to treat it. When we need refills on his medication, they allow us to simply call for a refill...they do not require an appointment for every refill! We love the service here. I highly recommend Family Pet.

Dr. Stoner and Dr. Bush have been Buster's vets since he was six weeks old. Now he is thirteen years old. Recently, his back legs stopped functioning and would not support him. I was seriously considering having him put down. Dr. Bush suggested accupuncture and I am so glad she did! Buster has done a complete 180 and is like a brand new dog. He has no trouble walking and is even wanting to run and play again. It would have broken my heart to lose my best friend. I cannot say enough good things about either Dr. Stoner or Dr. Bush. They are caring and compassionate veterinarians who give the best care anywhere.

I've been coming to Family Pet for years and I've always appreciated their sincere affection and good care for my pets. I trust Dr Bush with my animals and she has always been honest and caring even in the worst of times. The techs are always patient with me even though my doggy doesn't have the best manners. I would totally recommend Family Pet Hospital to any pet owner in Vacaville and I know the friends I have recommended in the past would say the same.

We took our dog to be spayed and really liked all of the vet techs/front office personnel, but I wasn't thrilled with the dr. I felt like he kept trying to pinch every penny out of me that he could. When all was said and done I paid $100.00 more than I was quoted over the phone. Yes they were things that I had to agree to; such as pain pills for our dog post surgery. I found it really odd that they wouldnt even give her any pain meds after unless I paid an extra fee for them. Maybe thats normal, I don't know this was my first time. Also they didn't even send her home with a cone or anything to keep her away from her stiches, I had to go to petco and buy one. But I will be looking to change to a dr that I get a better vibe from. Our dog bounced back the next morning after surgery with no problem and when I went to get her the dr rolled his eyes when I said it was a good thing she was so active.

So thankful for this doctor and all the staff here! Called around first thing this morning, due to a ruptured and bleeding access, to six different offices and was turned down for an urgent appointment. As soon as I called here they said I could come in right then. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have been able to get my dog seen until much later. She got seen and got antibiotics within an hour. Thank you so much!!

We've taken our cats to Family Pet Hospital since we moved to Vacaville in 1992. We loved Dr. Bush and were sorry to see her leave but we are so very happy with the care Dr. Singh is providing. He takes the time to explain things thoroughly and has been great with our cats. His staff does a great job and you can see everyone cares about the animals they are caring for.

We visited Family Pet Hospital while in town for the day and unable to get into our own vet on a Saturday. We noticed a Ringworm on our pup and needed to get seen immediately. They were able to squeeze us in on a very busy Saturday (I called every Banfield Hospital in the N. Cal area and NO one had an opening).The Dr. was so patient and kind with our Pup even though I was a panicked pet parent. He was able to do a culture and follow up with us by phone exactly when he promised. He was very accommodating even though we were unable to get back to his office to get the meds - and helped us send the RX to our local Costco as well as buying a lyme sulfur dip on Amazon. He fielded like 10 phone calls from me even though he knew we were a one time customer, and he was so nice and patient. If we are in Vacaville again, we absolutely will be in for a visit. Thank you :)

The entire staff is friendly & helpful! Dr. Bush & Dr. Singh really take the time with your pet and listen to your concerns. Our 6 year old Beagle Mix has chronic allergies. They went through all the steps with us to figure out the exact allergy and the best way to treat it. When we need refills on his medication, they allow us to simply call for a refill...they do not require an appointment for every refill! We love the service here. I highly recommend Family Pet.

Dr. Stoner and Dr. Bush have been Buster's vets since he was six weeks old. Now he is thirteen years old. Recently, his back legs stopped functioning and would not support him. I was seriously considering having him put down. Dr. Bush suggested accupuncture and I am so glad she did! Buster has done a complete 180 and is like a brand new dog. He has no trouble walking and is even wanting to run and play again. It would have broken my heart to lose my best friend. I cannot say enough good things about either Dr. Stoner or Dr. Bush. They are caring and compassionate veterinarians who give the best care anywhere.

I've been coming to Family Pet for years and I've always appreciated their sincere affection and good care for my pets. I trust Dr Bush with my animals and she has always been honest and caring even in the worst of times. The techs are always patient with me even though my doggy doesn't have the best manners. I would totally recommend Family Pet Hospital to any pet owner in Vacaville and I know the friends I have recommended in the past would say the same.

We took our dog to be spayed and really liked all of the vet techs/front office personnel, but I wasn't thrilled with the dr. I felt like he kept trying to pinch every penny out of me that he could. When all was said and done I paid $100.00 more than I was quoted over the phone. Yes they were things that I had to agree to; such as pain pills for our dog post surgery. I found it really odd that they wouldnt even give her any pain meds after unless I paid an extra fee for them. Maybe thats normal, I don't know this was my first time. Also they didn't even send her home with a cone or anything to keep her away from her stiches, I had to go to petco and buy one. But I will be looking to change to a dr that I get a better vibe from. Our dog bounced back the next morning after surgery with no problem and when I went to get her the dr rolled his eyes when I said it was a good thing she was so active.
