I wish to comment on the most unprofessional behavior at a vet’s office that I have ever seen. To say I was shocked doesn’t begin to describe it. It concerns Valley Springs Veterinary Clinic, Dr. PaulaParish. I was returning some special diet canned food that my cat refused to eat. The assistant there (who I suspect is the vet’s husband) couldn’t find a record of its sale. But it is only available by prescription so I had to have bought it there. It’s the only place I have ever taken this cat. But instead of assuming that there had been a mistake, he started screaming at me. I am not exaggerating, I swear. As I went out the door and started to say something, he screamed even louder and slammed the door in my face and said never come back. No problem, I sure won’t. Read Less

The little team at the Veterinary Clinic here in Valley Springs is outstanding! They are so kind and gentle to both pets and people, and that makes a huge difference to all involved during a furry friend's time of need. They understand the stress involved with not only the health issues at hand, but also those associated with caging and transporting cats. In addition to their kindness and compassion, everyone in the office is very knowledgeable and informative, with Dr. Paula being their in-house Einstein of Veterinary Medicine. She really knows her craft, is fearless in the face of my giant ball of claws, has a great sense of humor, and is also very prompt and professional. As you can tell, I just cannot say enough good things about the care provided here for both my cats and dog...we love VSVC! Read Less
