Been coming to this vet since I moved to the valley a few years ago. Out of maybe 10 visits (I have two cats), maybe once it's been negative. I like Dr David and I only come there because he really cares for the animals. I don't really bother with the other vets there, unless Dr. David isn't in for the day and I can't reschedule. I do agree with the people here who mentioned the people at the front desk. Chatty cathy's, the lot of them, the only one who seems to have any common sense is George. They need to really stop chattering in Spanish in front of the customers, it comes across as really rude to someone who is not a Spanish speaking person. No offense, but this is customer service and this is still the USA, so speak English, thank you. Check in (always have an appointment) is okay, but paying the bill, that's when the waiting game begins. Usually they are good about bringing the animals out after their fees have been paid, but from time to time there is a mix-up. I did have a negative mix up incident happen once after paying the bill (I almost did not come back because of this incident). Sat there for 20-30 minutes waiting for them to bring out my cat while front desk dealing with other customers. I waited another 10 minutes and I approached the desk and asked for my cat. They asked me what the cat looked like, then I was told they didn't have a cat that matched that description in the back. I do have to say I was stunned. Finally after about 15 minutes of fooling around, they brought her out. The sight of my elderly cat being carried with two hands under each of her front legs and no support to her back legs which were dangling down (the tech carried her in like she was a sack of grain) made me so angry I scooped her up and vamoosed out of there. Didn't come back for six months and I only did that was because my other cat became very ill and I took her there for Dr David to have a look at her. Once Dr David leaves VAH for good I will be looking for another vet clinic and a vet that's closer to my home. It''s a very, very busy place, small waiting room, clinical, no frill looking place. It's considered a low cost vet, so if you want fancy Beverly Hills plush for your pet, this isn't the place for you. Saturdays are very, very busy, so steer clear of Saturday unless you want to sit on a bench for ages. Weekdays aren't so bad, and neither are Sundays. Pros: Dr David, care for the pets. Cons: the front desk staff, organization. Read Less
