Love this vet so far. I’ve only been here 2 times. But each time everyone is nice the vet actually listens and talks to you. Great price on Puppy Shots. Can’t bet $120 for all puppy shots, dewormings, and 4 nail trimmings(1 for each time you go for the puppy vaccines). Plus the waiting room is separated one side for cats and one side for dogs each wall has the specific animal painting and the exam room has cute paintings also.

The staff is very friendly but that doesn't mean they are a great vet hospital. I took my cat here for a shot for worms and a few days later he had a sore on the spot where they administered his shot. I think it might have been because they were hugging my cat and when they gave him a shot he jerked like any cat would being hugged, and they had to reinsert the shot in the same area. I will be looking for a different place to take my furbaby.

We purchased the puppy package that included the immunizations and visiting AND visits if we felt out dog needed to be seen. The whole place is clean and DOES NOT smell like 50 wet dogs.

We have taken our dogs here a few times, and the first few times were fine. My dog had surgery somewhere else, and our puppy ate his medication obviously on accident 3 days after he had surgery where his stomach was opened, and he had staples. I came home and she had vomited his medicine back up. I was concerned about my other dog due to the fact that he no longer had his antibiotics or pain medication, so I called the office he had surgery at and they said to call my normal veterinary office, which I did. When I called and told them the story, I was put on hold 3 separate times, and when the third person spoke to me they told me I had to bring in the vomit from my puppy (which I had already cleaned up) and seemed like an absolutely absurd request, bring in my dog who had surgery, and bring in his paperwork from surgery. After going to all of this effort, they gave me his antibiotic but refused to give him his pain medication when he had major surgery THREE days prior. The vet tech also walked out and announced to everyone "...yea, we have kind of a weird case!" I felt extremely disrespected by the demeanor of the staff regarding his medication. They treated me like some pill seeker and it was very frustrating to have my poor Great Dane in pain for another week because they didn't believe me apparently. He has staples for gods sake! I paid 120$ to be treated rudely and put my dog through the trauma of getting him down 2 flights of stairs, in and out of the car, and back up the stairs to get home. I will not be going to this office again.

After being a customer of another vet for the last 15 years I was absolutely stunned when they refused to see my pet for treatment after she was mauled. They told me I needed to make an appointment. How can you make an appointment for that? " Hi, my dog is going to be mauled next Monday and I need to make an appointment for sedation and stitches...." SMH! So I ended up at Caldwell and was seen immediately. The staff were awesome. The vet was great the problem triaged in quick order and priced reasonably. I now have a new vet for my 4 pets. Good riddance Companion.

I just took my brand new puppy in for an exam and to start on his shots. The Vet seemed caring and professional and through. Everything was done a as the puppy package was explained. I did notice they forgot to check his ears and mouth. I will make sure that is done on his next visit. The staff seemed to care about the animals they were seeing. I will continue to go for his round of shots until, it's completed. I will have him microchiped, and nuetured. So far I was satisfied with my dogs care.

I've had some bad experiences with vets and their staff in the past so I was glad it worked out. I also feel like their fees are very reasonable compared to bandied which is where he used to go. I think this will be Lukes forever vet, and they were even nice enough to refer us to some per boarding places.

My dog at 2 months old contracted Parvo. We were so worried and scared for the little pup. We rushed him to Caldwell Pet Hospital because they were the only ones who attend him in such short notice. They took care of him for three days ( I took care of him at night since they don't have over night staff). I've never seen a dog look so bad before. Very disappointed at the involvement of the vet when we had to put our dog down. At no time did the vet touch our dog, except to administer a sedative which he said calm our dog prior to the lethal injection. Unfortunately, the sedative did not calm our dog, but agitated her to the point he had to give her two more injections which still failed to do the job. Staff was great, but I don't believe the vet showed any compassion in a traumatic situation.

The veterinarian and the nurses are nice and treat my dogs like they are their own. The prices are good (visit cost is only $35 and if you bring a second pet their visit cost is less). Another vet I have taken my dogs to was 50 bucks for the visit. Thanks to them my dogs are happy and healthy again ☺🐶

Love this vet so far. I’ve only been here 2 times. But each time everyone is nice the vet actually listens and talks to you. Great price on Puppy Shots. Can’t bet $120 for all puppy shots, dewormings, and 4 nail trimmings(1 for each time you go for the puppy vaccines). Plus the waiting room is separated one side for cats and one side for dogs each wall has the specific animal painting and the exam room has cute paintings also.

The staff is very friendly but that doesn't mean they are a great vet hospital. I took my cat here for a shot for worms and a few days later he had a sore on the spot where they administered his shot....
The staff is very friendly but that doesn't mean they are a great vet hospital. I took my cat here for a shot for worms and a few days later he had a sore on the spot where they administered his shot. I think it might have been because they were hugging my cat and when they gave him a shot he jerked like any cat would being hugged, and they had to reinsert the shot in the same area. I will be looking for a different place to take my furbaby.

We have had to take two of our pets to Caldwell Pet Hospital for care, and recieved both professional and caring service from both the doctors and vet assistants. We brought out pup here when we first got her. The staff and Vets here are awesome! They kept us well informed on how to care for our new pup. We purchased the puppy package that included the immunizations and visiting AND visits if we felt out dog needed to be seen. The whole place is clean and DOES NOT smell like 50 wet dogs.

We have taken our dogs here a few times, and the first few times were fine. My dog had surgery somewhere else, and our puppy ate his medication obviously on accident 3 days after he had surgery where his stomach was opened, and he had staples. I came home and she had vomited his medicine back up. I was concerned about my other dog due to the fact that he no longer had his antibiotics or pain medication, so I called the office he had surgery at and they said to call my normal veterinary office, which I did. When I called and told them the story, I was put on hold 3 separate times, and when the third person spoke to me they told me I had to bring in the vomit from my puppy (which I had already cleaned up) and seemed like an absolutely absurd request, bring in my dog who had surgery, and bring in his paperwork from surgery. After going to all of this effort, they gave me his antibiotic but refused to give him his pain medication when he had major surgery THREE days prior. The vet tech also walked out and announced to everyone "...yea, we have kind of a weird case!" I felt extremely disrespected by the demeanor of the staff regarding his medication. They treated me like some pill seeker and it was very frustrating to have my poor Great Dane in pain for another week because they didn't believe me apparently. He has staples for gods sake! I paid 120$ to be treated rudely and put my dog through the trauma of getting him down 2 flights of stairs, in and out of the car, and back up the stairs to get home. I will not be going to this office again.

After being a customer of another vet for the last 15 years I was absolutely stunned when they refused to see my pet for treatment after she was mauled. They told me I needed to make an appointment. How can you make an appointment for that? " Hi, my dog is going to be mauled next Monday and I need to make an appointment for sedation and stitches...." SMH! So I ended up at Caldwell and was seen immediately. The staff were awesome. The vet was great the problem triaged in quick order and priced reasonably. I now have a new vet for my 4 pets. Good riddance Companion.

I just took my brand new puppy in for an exam and to start on his shots. The Vet seemed caring and professional and through. Everything was done a as the puppy package was explained. I did notice they forgot to check his ears and mouth. I will make sure that is done on his next visit. The staff seemed to care about the animals they were seeing. I will continue to go for his round of shots until, it's completed. I will have him microchiped, and nuetured. So far I was satisfied with my dogs care.

Called last minute to bring my Luke in and they were able to get him in with no wait. They vet tech and the doctor were really nice. I've had some bad experiences with vets and their staff in the past so I was glad it worked out. I also feel like their fees are very reasonable compared to bandied which is where he used to go. I think this will be Lukes forever vet, and they were even nice enough to refer us to some per boarding places.

Had to take my 15 year old cat for 3 consecutive days of subcutaneous fluids because he was showing signs of kidney failure. Every day I walked in and everyday the staff asked "How is Spot doing?". Staff was great and care was great as well. Highly recommend! Dr. K was great. I felt very comfortable taking my kitty here.

My dog at 2 months old contracted Parvo. We were so worried and scared for the little pup. We rushed him to Caldwell Pet Hospital because they were the only ones who attend him in such short notice. They took care of him for three days ( I took care of him at night since they don't have over night staff). I've never seen a dog look so bad before. But thanks to the staff and the vet of Caldwell Pet Hospital he survived and he's up and running. Thanking them isn't enough for what they did for me and my puppy Califa

Very disappointed at the involvement of the vet when we had to put our dog down. At no time did the vet touch our dog, except to administer a sedative which he said calm our dog prior to the lethal injection. Unfortunately, the sedative did not calm our dog, but agitated her to the point he had to give her two more injections which still failed to do the job. Staff was great, but I don't believe the vet showed any compassion in a traumatic situation.
