My dog was severely ill on the 4th of July; by the morning of the 5th we were certain she wouldn't live much longer, she is only 7 months old. I made several calls to different vet offices and the soonest anyone would get her in was July 26th and I knew should wouldn't live that long. I called Care At the Courtyard as a last ditch effort, assuming they would not be able to see her just like everyone else. Amazingly they were able to get us an appointment in 30 minutes! The Vet was very empathetic and thoroughly explained her plan of care and why she was recommending each test. In the end, we agreed to the plan of care and 2 days later, our dog is up and running around acting like her normal puppy self. We reviewed the charges for the visit and all charges were similar to charges we had received at our regular vet, nothing was outrageous considering all factors. We are going to be moving all our dogs care here, the service is that amazing.

What a joke this place is!! I take my dog in for a large an allergic reaction that swelled up to the size of a golf ball on her eye, which she scratched and tore skin...Dr didn't even touch my dog. Not even to take her temperature. Yet, they are quick to give me an estimate of $850 for multiple test. Asked for antibiotics the next day and was told the Dr called me. Nope... when I stated this, nicely, I was pretty much told I was a liar. Rude! Lol, wow. Tell me, why would I lie about something like that? What do I get out of it? After that, I decided, never going back! Well today, I get a letter, mind you, I NEVER EXPRESSED ANY OF MY CONCERNS WITH ANY STAFF MEMBERS, NOT ONCE, but today I get a letter from them stating "their are certain staff members and dr that no longer want to work with you." That's laughable! Can you believe the audacity of this place?
I was never rude , loud and I never got in anyone's face about the lack of skill they possess. I was quiet, paid my bill and found a BETTER vet to take my dog to.
I did NOT recommend this place at all. The other reviews (bad) are spot on!

Dr. Proctor and the whole Care Veterinary Clinic team were amazing. They fit us in on an emergency in between other appointments. Our giant Saint Bernard had a huge mass/tumor on his head that started causing some major issues so it needed to be removed. Dr. Proctor did an amazing job and removed the mass and sewed up Otis and he looks amazing! We are so grateful for Dr. Proctor and the whole Care staff. We would highly recommend anyone needing a vet to visit this clinic. Surgery needs see Dr. Proctor. Otis is recovering nicely and I keep getting follow up class to make sure he’s okay. 🙂 Thank you all again.

While waiting, all that was done was a parvo test (which came positive within the first 15 min there) for the remaining time I was given 1 estimate that I could not afford and another that was just the basic tx to take my husky home. She died within 15 min of getting home. While trying to grieve, my aunt posted my husky story of a pet group thread on Facebook and an employee by the name... of Yessica went on a rant stating that I waited until the last day to take my husky to a vet, that I was a joke, that I should educate myself before owning a pet.. etc etc, then she went on to admit that she was employed and Care vet and that's how she knows what happened, which is completely false because I would have never left my sick dog sick for days. This girl is sadly still employed at Care vet even after speaking with the office manager, emails I sent as well as friends, family and complete strangers calling on my behalf after reading what their employee publicly wrote. I will NEVER take any pet of mine to Care vet ever again. See More

Absolutely no response to a criticism about how I was treated at Care at the Courtyard. I should say I had taken my dogs there for at least 4 years and had great and friendly service. However on my final day as a customer, I was told that I needed to take only two of my dogs for a wellness check and was given an appointment card for a 2:00 pm appointment. When I got there I was referred to a private room with the two dogs (needed heart worm and flea medication.) I waited in the room for 20 minutes past my appointment time and then the front desk told me my appointment wasn't until 3:00, even though I had a 2:00 pm appointment card. Then the Veterinary technician came in the room and said the front desk was incorrect and I should have brought my other German Shepherd. I was then upset and declined any further services. I emailed two letters about my concerns and there was absolutely no phone call from the office manager, even though the first letter was ignored, the second letter was placed on her desk according to the front desk person I called. I am amazed that after spending so much on pet care they blew me off.

Dr. Chris Peterson is a remarkable veterinarian. Not only does Dr. Peterson have really good clinical skills but, he is also an excellent surgeon. I have had numerous female cats spayed by Dr. Peterson and the resulting incisions are almost invisible. Plus, the cats are always fully awake and playful....amazing!

Care at the Courtyard is peopled with absolutely wonderful personnel who take a genuine interest in the 'furry' members of your family. They are knowledgable, helpful, caring, and willing to take those extra steps which mean so much when we're distressed over our pets' health. This place is beyond words wonderful. The best place I have ever taken my dogs. I want to give a shout out to Dr. Johnson who is the main one we were speaking to. The amount of care is among anything I could've hoped for. We got referred to take our dog to a specialist and got calls from care at the courtyard to see how she was doing. Our dogs life was saved thanks to the amazing amount of care and compassion from everyone involved.

The staff is so caring and humanely good to all its friends that pass through their doors. I have a kind but rowdy Pitbull teen that has a 200+ pound pull. The vet team is totally unintimidated by my Jeremiah. They are able and willing to help him with his needs. I love them for that alone.
(I've been to another vet that was clearly and rudely quite the opposite, so I have something tangible for comparison's sake.)
Care at the Courtyard pricing is competitively affordable. The structure and grounds are immaculate. Give them a try with your loved pet. You'll be so pleased. Also, they will do their best to squeeze you in within a 24-hour period for non-emergency, yet, a hasty essential visit.

Just brought my recently adopted excited Husky in today for his wellness check up. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and so helpful. The Vet gave me some great information on my boy, what to be aware of and look out for, and even helped me to catch an infection just beginning around his incision from being neutered and wrote his prescription for antibiotics. I was extremely happy with his care, and all the help we received today. I only forgot to ask the vet if they thought he was a purebred or mix, lol. I shall ask next time! I will definitely highly recommend this clinic to anyone, as it was recommended to me by my sister in law. :)

My dog was severely ill on the 4th of July; by the morning of the 5th we were certain she wouldn't live much longer, she is only 7 months old. I made several calls to different vet offices and the soonest anyone would get her in was July 26th and I knew should wouldn't live that long. I called Care At the Courtyard as a last ditch effort, assuming they would not be able to see her just like everyone else. Amazingly they were able to get us an appointment in 30 minutes! The Vet was very empathetic and thoroughly explained her plan of care and why she was recommending each test. In the end, we agreed to the plan of care and 2 days later, our dog is up and running around acting like her normal puppy self. We reviewed the charges for the visit and all charges were similar to charges we had received at our regular vet, nothing was outrageous considering all factors. We are going to be moving all our dogs care here, the service is that amazing.

What a joke this place is!! I take my dog in for a large an allergic reaction that swelled up to the size of a golf ball on her eye, which she scratched and tore skin...Dr didn't even touch my dog. Not even to take her temperature. Yet, they are quick to give me an estimate of $850 for multiple test. Asked for antibiotics the next day and was told the Dr called me. Nope... when I stated this, nicely, I was pretty much told I was a liar. Rude! Lol, wow. Tell me, why would I lie about something like that? What do I get out of it? After that, I decided, never going back! Well today, I get a letter, mind you, I NEVER EXPRESSED ANY OF MY CONCERNS WITH ANY STAFF MEMBERS, NOT ONCE, but today I get a letter from them stating "their are certain staff members and dr that no longer want to work with you." That's laughable! Can you believe the audacity of this place?
I was never rude , loud and I never got in anyone's face about the lack of skill they possess. I was quiet, paid my bill and found a BETTER vet to take my dog to.
I did NOT recommend this place at all. The other reviews (bad) are spot on!

Dr. Proctor and the whole Care Veterinary Clinic team were amazing. They fit us in on an emergency in between other appointments. Our giant Saint Bernard had a huge mass/tumor on his head that started causing some major issues so it needed to be removed. Dr. Proctor did an amazing job and removed the mass and sewed up Otis and he looks amazing! We are so grateful for Dr. Proctor and the whole Care staff. We would highly recommend anyone needing a vet to visit this clinic. Surgery needs see Dr. Proctor. Otis is recovering nicely and I keep getting follow up class to make sure he’s okay. 🙂 Thank you all again.

I took my dying husky to Care vet and sadly we were put in a back room for almost 2 hours. While waiting, all that was done was a parvo test (which came positive within the first 15 min there) for the remaining time I was given 1 estimate that I could not afford and another that was just the basic tx to take my husky home. She died within 15 min of getting home. While trying to grieve, my aunt posted my husky story of a pet group thread on Facebook and an employee by the name... of Yessica went on a rant stating that I waited until the last day to take my husky to a vet, that I was a joke, that I should educate myself before owning a pet.. etc etc, then she went on to admit that she was employed and Care vet and that's how she knows what happened, which is completely false because I would have never left my sick dog sick for days. This girl is sadly still employed at Care vet even after speaking with the office manager, emails I sent as well as friends, family and complete strangers calling on my behalf after reading what their employee publicly wrote. I will NEVER take any pet of mine to Care vet ever again. See More

Absolutely no response to a criticism about how I was treated at Care at the Courtyard. I should say I had taken my dogs there for at least 4 years and had great and friendly service. However on my final day as a customer, I was told that I needed to take only two of my dogs for a wellness check and was given an appointment card for a 2:00 pm appointment. When I got there I was referred to a private room with the two dogs (needed heart worm and flea medication.) I waited in the room for 20 minutes past my appointment time and then the front desk told me my appointment wasn't until 3:00, even though I had a 2:00 pm appointment card. Then the Veterinary technician came in the room and said the front desk was incorrect and I should have brought my other German Shepherd. I was then upset and declined any further services. I emailed two letters about my concerns and there was absolutely no phone call from the office manager, even though the first letter was ignored, the second letter was placed on her desk according to the front desk person I called. I am amazed that after spending so much on pet care they blew me off.

Dr. Chris Peterson is a remarkable veterinarian. Not only does Dr. Peterson have really good clinical skills but, he is also an excellent surgeon. I have had numerous female cats spayed by Dr. Peterson and the resulting incisions are almost invisible. Plus, the cats are always fully awake and playful....amazing!

Care at the Courtyard is peopled with absolutely wonderful personnel who take a genuine interest in the 'furry' members of your family. They are knowledgable, helpful, caring, and willing to take those extra steps which mean so much when we're distressed over our pets' health. We couldn't be more pleased with the care our Dogs and Cats have received, and even on the darkest days, when one of our special fiends crosses the Rainbow Bridge, the staff and Doctors lend a helping and supportive hand. I have been taking my dog to Care for the past 3 years... now I have two adopted cats and they continue to keep all my pets healthy and happy. They might not be the cheapest, but they are still very price concientious while maintaining a high level of care. My schedule is never very flexible, so I don't have one consistent Dr., but I've been happy with all of them. :)

We raise service dogs for Canine Companions and wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else but Care at the Courtyard Veterinary Clinic. We are impressed with the caring Dr. Johnson has given all our dogs over the last several years. We have a pet golden retriever who also loves Dr. Johnson. She never is scared to go to the vet! The amount of care is among anything I could've hoped for. We got referred to take our dog to a specialist and got calls from care at the courtyard to see how she was doing. The staff is so caring and humanely good to all its friends that pass through their doors. I have a kind but rowdy Pitbull teen that has a 200+ pound pull. The vet team is totally unintimidated by my Jeremiah. They are able and willing to help him with his needs. I love them for that alone.
(I've been to another vet that was clearly and rudely quite the opposite, so I have something tangible for comparison's sake.)
Care at the Courtyard pricing is competitively affordable. The structure and grounds are immaculate. Give them a try with your loved pet. You'll be so pleased. Also, they will do their best to squeeze you in within a 24-hour period for non-emergency, yet, a hasty essential visit.

Just brought my recently adopted excited Husky in today for his wellness check up. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and so helpful. The Vet gave me some great information on my boy, what to be aware of and look out for, and even helped me to catch an infection just beginning around his incision from being neutered and wrote his prescription for antibiotics. I was extremely happy with his care, and all the help we received today. I only forgot to ask the vet if they thought he was a purebred or mix, lol. I shall ask next time! I will definitely highly recommend this clinic to anyone, as it was recommended to me by my sister in law. :)

We especially like Dr Sawyer and Dr Johnson, who both give excellent explanations about immunizations, diagnosis and any required medications. Their love of animals is apparent!
