After being sent out for a surgical consult again for my animals. I called Dr Proctor to discuss what my dogs actual diagnosis was and to explain in plain language what the xrays meant. Instead I got a receptionist calling me back to "answer" my questions. After getting upset that the dr or any dr could not take the time to return my call to further explain my dogs xrays, I asked for my dogs records and have since changed clinics. Today I got a form letter in the mail, here is a direct quote of the second to last sentence "This letter does not warrant a visit, a phone call, or any correspondence either via letter or email." This sentence screams .....We don't care about our business or our clients. Being that they do not wish to discuss what the actual problem was they have left me no other option but to leave a review. Never in all my years of running a business have I ever told a customer we do not appreciate nor care about their patronage. We have been bringing our pets to this clinic more than 12 years. They seem to be forgetting that most peoples pets are a part of their family and we as owners are our pets voice when it comes to veterinary care. Our two dogs fought and one was seriously injured on a Friday afternoon. Our regular vet could not see him. We called all over town, no one could see him. Care vet could not see him at first but they called us back after a few minutes and said they had an opening. They took care of him, explained everything clearly and thouroughly. He was in a lot of pain. They treated his pain first and then examined him. He had a broken leg and multiple puncture wounds. They really care about our pets. Read Less

Every single time we have taken one of our loved ones here, they have been treated extremely well and respected. We have had to put a couple down and it was the hardest thing ever, but each time the staff gave us time to be with them and share in the last moments we had with them. They made an extremely difficult situation somewhat bearable. My cat had been attacked by a neighbor's dog very badly. They were able to get him in that morning of the attack, and no one else was able to. They saved his life and gave me about a year longer with him before he had to be put down due to cancer. We also had a German Shepard mix that had gotten himself in a bit of trouble, and to treat him took a few months. We became pretty familiar with the staff as did our dog. I was able to book an appt online on the weekend for a week day which was incredibly convenient. Upon arriving, I was greeted by an awesome friendly staff who helped me get my paperwork done right away. The young lady who took us to our room was great with my dog and made him feel as comfortable as possible. The Vet then came in and immediately sat down with my dog. I loved that. My dog is super awkward and this was the perfect way to greet him. He offered me great advice for my dog and I left feeling very confident. I have taken my cats here for a year and a half and have never had a bad experience. Every veterinarian I've worked with at this location was knowledgeable and treated my cats very kindly. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and compassionate. They also have a good range of hours. The clinic is always very clean and in good repair. I'm a happy customer! Read Less

I have been going to this vet a long time and they are usually wonderful the intake staff is friendly and they always try to fit me in during an emergency even without an appointment. They've been wonderful with my animals. I've only had one staff member in several years of going say something slightly insensitive to the situation. It is a bit pricey but I've noticed all vet clinics are going in a direction of money over compassion. Lucky this clinic seams to still have the compassion element among their staff and vet docs. Care Vet takes care of our 5 dogs and loves them like we do. all our dogs are rescue dogs. our most recent Georgia Brown Blain was being tortured by a Dog ring of owners of fighter dogs with Georgia as the "bait" or Practice dog. she escaped and my wife found her badly beaten and chewed up with rashes and infected teeth. CARE Vet took her in right away and help her so much and provided a discount for a dog we just rescued simply because we love dogs. Georgia had her mouth surgery today removing most of her teeth due to infections and stuff. she is with me and my wife resting peaceful in our home. we love our sweet girl and we love CARE vet. Just brought my recently adopted excited Husky in today for his wellness check up. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and so helpful. The Vet gave me some great information on my boy, what to be aware of and look out for, and even helped me to catch an infection just beginning around his incision from being neutered and wrote his prescription for antibiotics. I was extremely happy with his care, and all the help we received today. I only forgot to ask the vet if they thought he was a purebred or mix, lol. I shall ask next time! I will definitely highly recommend this clinic to anyone, as it was recommended to me by my sister in law. :) Read Less

They receptionist is very nice, the female doctor I talked to was sort of nice but she had a not so nice undertone. My husband is active in the military and we needed to send our dog back out to Hawaii. We have already made arrangements and talked to multiple people at the Honolulu Quarantine office about re-entry and with the airline we are sending him on. He is up to date on all vaccines, including rabies, and had his blood work already done that does not expire for 4 more month and all we needed was a health certificate. They would not look him over and all they told me was they WILL NOT issue anything unless we use a specific company to transport our dog, which when I called was over $1,500.00 and they even said that I had all the necessary documents and he was clear besides a health certificate. With my husband in the military we are on a fixed income and do not just have that kind of money to throw away when it only costs a fraction of the price to do it ourselves. They should not be allowed to do this to people. Read Less

Dr. Proctor is the best Vet I have ever had...and that is saying a lot at my age and number of animals I have had over the years. He is great at diagnosing issues, in surgery, and is compassionate in his care for all my animals. I lost my 13-year-old Yorkie and the only thing that made it bearable is that I knew Dr. Proctor and his staff had done everything they could for him...and for me in the form of comfort. Both clinics are immaculate as Dr. Proctor runs a tight ship. His staff is friendly. You feel like home when you are there, and that is because of the people he has on his staff. We just love Dr. Sunderson, Dr. Proctor, Dr. Vee and all the staff! We had the heartbreaking decision of putting our beloved 16 yr old Oskar down in Nov 2014. Dr. Sunderson and Dr. Proctor helped us through this, and I swore it would be a very long time before we got another pet. Too painful. And not 2 months later, yet New Year's Eve day, little Miss Maggie came into our lives. She had some health issues, and Dr. S saw her thru them all. I started taking my first dog here in 1993. I now have 3 other dogs and they all go here. THe staff and doctors at this clinic are amazing! They treat both my pet and my family with loving care. My first dog was quite sick in the last few years of her life and we moved a lot during that time. Of all the vets she went to including specialists, I would give care vet the highest recommendation. We see Dr. Lori and Dr. Peterson, but I would feel comfortable allowing any of their doctors to treat my babies. Read Less
