Thank you so much for the exceptional care that we got today. Not only did you take great care of my cat you guys also helped get jump my car when my battery died. I can't tell you what a panic I was in. I am a caregiver and I had my 71-year-old Alzheimer's patient in my car along with my 10-year-old son and my injured cat. I was about to lose my mind. Dr. McNeill was so friendly and compassionate. My poor doggie was not feeling good at all they were able to get us in and take care of him. Worst vet ever! One star only because I couldn't rate it 0. They did not clean the thermometer between taking temperature of my cats, nor did I notice anything in the room to clean it with which makes me wonder if it is ever cleaned. They took my cats to another room where I was not allowed to go. Dr. Young was an alarmist. We have had our cats for several years and always take them for regular checkups, always with a clean bill of health. One of our cats has allergies, she said it might be herpes before even completing the exam! She mentioned several other absurd diagnoses. Worst vet ever, never going back! Read Less

We have three dogs and we bring all of them here because we love the care we get and it doesn't cost us an arm and a leg. We highly recommend the puppy package if you have a young pup, it was worth every penny for our pug, Winston. I want to say a HUGE Thank you to Dr. Jenny Schiebert and all of the wonderful staff members here. Sophie passed in my arms last night. Dr. Jenny called me personally when she found out..... she had spent no small amount of time comforting and caring for Sophie. During the week that I boarded Sophie there, Miss Barbara and staff were carrying Sophie around (she loved to be held) and "well loving her" as in I never believed animals can be spoiled.... just well loved. I really really will never find the words to thank all of these wonderful people. They are even handling the remains for me today. My other girl Charlie will remain their patient when needed because I know of the love and care these amazing wonderful folks give all of these creatures treating each one as if it were their own fur baby. The Dr. I think is great ! The staff is not the same people as in the picture. I had my dog stay there for a couple days and I have done this many times before ,and when I got him home he was different he was not himself. OK so I HAD to take him another time to stay I took his food and his snacks cause he has allergies to chicken and I that is in his file ,so OK I go to get him and they never gave him his snacks or used his food ,their food has chicken in it cause I asked them after I saw they did not use what I sent not only that . I noticed no one stays all night with the animals I live around the corner from them I work nights drive by about 2 am no one is there !! I have been taking my baby there for 6 years he was always so happy going and coming out of there but not any more the new staff I am not comfortable with any more wonder why everyone else left ...Read Less

We just adopted a new kitten from the shelter the shadow ridge vet hospital is so very warm and welcoming we picked her up after surgery the staff are all fun and pet loving people we returned for our kitty's check up the vet is wonderful gave us several options for treatment and worked with my budget as to what treatment would be best for a ear infection for our little s'mores. What I find for reviews most people want to complain but never take the time to give someone kudos for doing a great job! We love the office the staff and the vet, we have had a lot of vets in many different states and cities this office will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met ! Dr. Schiebert and her attentive staff have been taking care of our dogs for years. From cherry eye, tooth extraction, to knee surgery and more. Recently, our 12 year old dog was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. Dr, Schiebert recommended tie-back surgery. I read horrible stories on the internet but decided to go with her recommendation. Dr. Tarvin from the San Diego VCA Specialty Group performed the surgery at the San Marcos location. It was very successful and he can breathe again. We took him home the same day. Our dog is happy, he can chase balls, run and be a dog again. I thank Dr. Schiebert and Dr. Tarvin for their expertise and extending the lives of our dogs. Woofs to the entire staff! Read Less

I want to share with everyone how our visit went when Ryann and I took Chloe into your hospital today. What a visit to remember, first off Shane took us back to the exam room. He was so wonderful and kind. He was very good about explaining everything and more important, answering ALL of Ryann's questions and concerns. Honestly that was the best part of the appointment seeing him so patient with us. Doctor Nostrand came in and she was lovely and very informative. Chloe was very comfortable with both of them and they both said she was a perfect little lady. I know Shane spent WAY more time with us then he should have but I want you to know how much it was appreciated and totally unexpected. Your hosp rates #1 to me and thank you for that.
