This is the absolute worst Vet I've ever been to. From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, everyone tried to sell us their new Banfield Pet Plan. The front desk, the nurse, even the doctor! They were more interested in getting us to sign up for their Pet Plan than helping check out my dog, which meant they convienently ignored what turned out to be a tumor on his leg we found out a month later at another Vet. I would recommend never going to this hospital, no matter what. Basically a group full of sales people. Read Less

Don't trust the positive reviews. I am new to the area and went here based on the reviews. Once I arrived I knew I was in trouble! In every room they have the walls plastered with advertising stating you a discount and money back if you write a review on yelp and google. Once they did the preliminary exam, they then tried to charge me $1000 for service but if I signed up for their club for a Few hundred then I would get 30-50% discount on their services. Well even after that discount, it still is more expensive than any other vet. For example - the medicine I needed to buy, they wanted $82 but I went and bought the same Meds at another vet for $30. The ear swab they charged me $69 for in addition to a $20 fee for nurse assistance and then an additional $67 to flush the ear. At vencina vet a ear swab costs only $35 and a cleanse is $25! And why did I pay for a nurse assistance when the DR didn't even do it. The nurse did it by herself and it took less than 3 min! Consider yourselves warned! Shady shady business! Read Less

Great surgical experience! My pup had a bad knee and through several thorough visits over several months with Dr. Campbell, we decided it was time for surgery. Two weeks later, and he is doing great!   Dr. Campbell has been excellent explaining everything and answering all my questions.  The staff has been wonderful as well.  I've been going here for over 10 years and all the care has been great, but for me care really stands out when it comes to surgery. I found Valley Vet about 11 years ago when a previous dog was severely ill one morning. The vet that day saved her life, and even though I have moved I still drive over to Valley Vet. And I absolutely love they are open weekends.  It makes it much easier to schedule doggie visits. Read Less

I love the doctors, the staff, everything about this place.  Dr. Tam saw my dog today and was very thorough and candid, didn't try to push any excessive treatments and even said they would ok a 1-800 petmeds prescription since they don't carry the drug we are going to try for my dog, most vets just try to sell you whatever they have regardless of the animal.  Our previous vet was just trying to rack up the cost of each visit without any real concern for our dog.Side note, my kid puked all over the exam room and Shawn (I'm pretty sure that was his name) was incredibly kind about it!  I was mortified, but everyone made me feel like it was no big deal and cleaned it up, smiling no less!  Brianna (again, pretty sure that was her name) even walked my dog out to the car with me so I could get my two kids loaded in the car, my old vet used to just watch as I struggled with my toddler and preschooler and Bernese Mountain Dog and then comment that I had my hands full.  Thank you to everyone at Valley Vet, I will always bring my dog here! The final straw was an expensive procedure that once again came up as inconclusive. Spoke to office manager about the situation and she offered to review the notes and call back. The call never came...Took our pup to a different clinic and got him diagnosed in a day but wasted months of his precious life which makes me question if we could have done something earlier if he hadn't been mis-diagnosed for so long.
