If your pet has a chronic condition, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS VET. This office is so incredibly disorganized and mediocre, and I have been disappointed by them time and time again with my cat's diabetes management. About a year ago, she was having seizure activity from hypoglycemia, and instead of squeezing her in for an appointment, they told me to take her to an emergency vet. Even though it was business hours, they refused to see her! The only reason I was taking her here is for proximity, but I won't be any longer. There's no consistency with which doctor is going to see the animal. The office staff never calls you back when you leave messages, even after multiple phone calls. We have utilized this hospital for years and have always gotten excellent service. As long as we live in the Sacramento area, we will continue to use VCA's services. Dr. Sarte and Dr. Hollern have been great to work with and have privided excellent care to our animals. Read Less

Great place!! I take both my dogs here. They are a full service vet that also boarding. The employees are really nice and always show great care to my dogs. They can be busy at times and also occasionally get slow, so be patient. Read Less
